Make note of your current alert preferences. Save your bill pay history of past payments. Alerts, nicknames and PopMoney contacts will not migrate to the new system. Please read through the detailed information included in this guide to learn about the various features of both products. What s new? Bill pay in a snap,¹ using your smartphone camera to quickly add a new biller. Real time alerts and push notifications. Person-to-person and account-to-account payments. What information will be converted from my existing system? Transaction history. estatements and preferences. Bill pay billers and scheduled/recurring payments. Transfers scheduled/recurring. What information will not be converted? Notifications/alerts will need to be re-created after conversion. Bill pay history list of any bills you have paid in the past. Please be sure to retain any bill pay history from your existing system if needed. Third-party connections (QuickBooks, Mint) Please update your user name and password in these systems to ensure that the information can be accessed in the Associated Bank online banking system. 1. Our standard bill payment service, found within online and mobile banking, is free, up to your available balance. Some add-on services within the standard bill payment service have service charges. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the Bill Payment Service and the Consumer Deposit Account Fee Schedule for details. 2. HOW TO SIGN IN ONLINE BANKING How to sign in to Associated Bank Online Banking Here are the steps to begin using online banking after the transition. Note: You can re-enroll on any device (desktop, mobile or tablet) and use the same password when signing in to online or mobile banking. You only need to re-enroll using your temporary password once either via online or mobile. After your initial log in, you will use your User ID and updated password. 1 Go to AssociatedBank.com and click on the sign-in box in the upper-right hand side of the page. Ensure online banking appears in the drop-down menu. Enter your existing user ID and temporary password (refer to enclosed letter for temporary password).. Enter user ID Enter temporary password 2 Update to a new permanent password (must be at least nine characters in length, contain upper and lower case letters and at least one number). HOW TO SIGN IN ONLINE BANKING 3 Select and provide answers to five new security questions from the drop-down menu. 4 Set up phone number for identity verification (multifactor/out-of-band authentication). a. Select phone number or enter new number to receive a call or text. b. Accept terms and conditions. c. Click Save to send first multifactor text/call. If you chose to receive your verification code via text, you will receive two text messages. If you receive your verification via phone call, you will receive a call with your code.
