TACTICAL COMMUNICATIONS & NETWORKING STEE-InfoComm provides leading edge wireless and wired network solutions for air, land and sea communications. SOLDIER SYSTEMS & URBAN OPERATIONS As a pioneer in developing advanced soldier systems in Singapore, STEE-InfoComm provides comprehensive on-going programmes that progressively enhance the soldier s situational awareness, survivability, lethality, mobility and sustainability. These factors are essential for dismounted soldiers, especially in urban operations. The advanced soldier system enables the soldier to be fully networked with other C4I or fighting platforms for intelligence sharing, improved situational awareness and enhanced fire power, thereby increasing the overall combat effectiveness. The advanced soldier system ranges from basic PDA-based systems to sophisticated wearable computer systems. It adopts open architecture and a modular design to suit different mission requirements, thereby offering minimal combat load and easier maintenance. The design of the soldier system focuses on reduced load with extended operating duration to increase the fighting effectiveness of the soldier. SURVEILLANCE & TRACKING STEE-InfoComm s skill in leveraging dual-use technologies, coupled with our extensive experience in providing defence C4I systems and ability to harness leading-edge technologies from the commercial sector, have aptly enabled us to develop advanced surveillance and tracking systems for defence and homeland security applications. These systems deploy a wide variety of above-surface and under-water, day and night sensors of various electromagnetic and accoustic spectrums. When deployed with suitable communication systems, they monitor and track potential targets, forces and assets. Powerful C2 or other application software is used to enable system operators to control sensors and communication systems and to integrate all real-time information for decision making, incident management, asset optimisation and simulation. The surveillance systems are particularly useful for coastal, border and defence surveillance as well as key installation protection. We also develop asset tracking systems to help customers utilise their resources optimally. ELECTRONIC WARFARE STEE-InfoComm supports a variety of Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions for land, sea and air. These solutions provide military and homeland security agencies with varying levels of detection, disruption, protection as well as spectrum monitoring and direction finding. The array of field-proven EW capabilities includes consultancy and solutioning for real-time interception, comprehensive surveillance and intelligence, and locating of radio, GSM, WiFi, internet, radar and satellite facilities.
