MERAK EMAIL SOFTWARE INSTRUCTIONS Starting your Web Browser Open the program Internet Explorer. In the Address Bar, type the following: http://www.epsb.com, then hit the enter key or click on Go at the end of the Address Bar. 1

This should bring up the Evangeline Parish School Board Website as pictured below Now Click on the Employees Tab at the top of the webpage 2 Dipee.info

Now Click on the Employee E Mail Access Link on the right as shown below 3 Dipee.info

Logging In PLEASE NOTE: Your User Name is your first name. your last name. FOR EXAMPLE: If my name is Suzy Que, then my E Mail user name is suzy.que. Your initial password is: detel Next type your User Name in the box labeled User Name: Press the tab key Type detel in the box labeled Password: Click the Login Button This will open the E Mail user interface 1 Type User Name Here 2 Type Password detel Here 3 Click Here 4 Dipee.info

Creating a password PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT If you do not change your password, others may be able to read your e mail Click the settings tab on the horizontal menu bar at the top of the screen as shown below 5 Dipee.info

Click the Account Settings link located on the left of the screen as shown below: 6

Type the password of your choice in the box labeled Password Re type the same, identical password in the box labeled Confirmed password Click on the Save Changes button one time. Your password has now been created. Click the X at the top right corner of the user interface screen to log out of your email account. 4 Click Here to Log Out 1 Type Your New Password Here 2 RE Type Your New Password 3 Click Here ONE Time 7

To verify your NEW password Type your Username in the field labeled User Name Type your NEW Password in the field labeled Password Click the Login button or press the Enter key on your keyboard. This will log you back into your email user account 1 Type User Name Here 2 Type NEW Password Here 3 Click Here 8

Checking Messages Click the Get Messages tab at the top of the screen. This will download all of your E Mail Messages Messages will be displayed here 9

Sending New Messages Click the New Message tab at the top of the screen. 10

This opens the new message window as shown below Type the email address of the person you wish to send E Mail to in the space next to the To: Type the subject of the email in the Subject field Type your message in the blank white space below the subject line. If you wish to attach a file to this email message, continue with this step. If you do not with to attach a file to this email message, go to the next step now. To attach a file to this email message, click Browse at the right side of the Attachment: blank white space. This opens the Choose File dialogue box. At the top of the Choose File dialogue box, click on the Look in: drop down arrow. Select the folder that the file you wish to attach to this email message is located in. Click on the file you wish to attach to this email message once to highlight it, then click the open button at the bottom right Type the email recipient(s) email addresses in the appropriate blank white space to either corner of the Choose File dialogue box. This attaches the selected file to your email message. Click the Spell Checker button to check the spelling in this email message or simply click the Send Message button to send this email message now. 3 Type Message Here 1 Type recipients E Mail Address Here 2 Type E Mail Subject Here 5 Click Here to Send your message 4 Click Here to add an attachment 11

To add contacts to your Address Book Click the Address Book tab on the top of the screen as shown below 12

The address book screen will come up Click the Add button on the left side of the Address Book screen as shown below 13

A new screen will come up that will allow you to fill in your contact s information Fill in all information desired about this contact making certain that at the least you indicate their name and email address. When done filling out all desired fields on the add contact user interface screen, click the Save Changes button at either the top or the bottom of the Add Contact user interface screen. (The Category drop down arrow will allow you to put contacts in certain folders that you create.
