In SNC 7.0 you use the skins to determine color and x-axis maximum of a chart in quick view. Skins are XML files that contain the complete chart configuration. Change the skin to one with a different color or create your own XML file and use that as a skin in Assign Building Block to Quick View: SAPDefault.xml SAPYellow30.xml SAPYellow50.xml SAPYellow100.xml SAPYellow200.xml SAPRed30.xml SAPRed50.xml SAPRed100.xml SAPRed200.xml SAPBlue30.xml SAPBlue50.xml SAPBlue100.xml SAPBlue200.xml SAPGreen30.xml SAPGreen50.xml SAPGreen100.xml SAPGreen200.xml The skin names follow the following convention: SAP Red 100.xml delivered color x-axis A skin that starts with SAP was delivered by SAP. The color specified in the XML s name applies only to the first segment. The second to fifth segment are always in the same shades of grey. The number at the end of the name specifies the length of the chart s x-axis. SAPDefault.xml and SAPYellow50.xml are identical. The system uses SAPDefault.xml if no skin is specified. If the color and x-axis maximum choices delivered by SAP are sufficient, you simply specify the skin of your choice for your building block. 2010 SAP AG 2
If you want to use different colors or different x-axis maxima, you can create your own XML files: Go to transaction SE80 and display WebDynpro component /SCF/WD_MYS_BOX. Open folder MIMEs. Double-click SAPDefault.xml and save its source to your computer. Then edit the XML file using your favorite XML editor (if you do not have one a simple text editor such as Notepad will do). To change the x-axis maximum, you change the value in the following tag: <Elements> <ChartAxes> <ValueAxis id="valueaxis1"> <Maximum>50</Maximum> To change the color of the segments, you change the values in these tags: <GlobalSettings> <Colors> <Color id="9">rgb(255,212,107)</color> and <Values> <Series id="series1"> <Color>RGB(255,212,107)</Color> <SecondaryColor>RGB(255,212,107)</SecondaryColor> Segment Color ID Series ID SAP Default Color Segment 1 <Color id="9"> <Series id="series1"> RGB(255,212,107) Segment 2 <Color id="17"> <Series id="series2"> RGB(176,176,176) Segment 3 <Color id="25"> <Series id="series3"> RGB(192,192,192) Segment 4 <Color id="33"> <Series id="series4"> RGB(208,208,208) Segment 5 <Color id="41"> <Series id="series5"> RGB(224,224,224) 2010 SAP AG 3
The value expected in the color tags has the format RGB(rrr, ggg, bbb), with rrr, ggg, and bbb each being a number between 0 and 255 indicating the portion of red, green, and blue in the specified color respectively. For more background on the RGB model consult, for example, Wikipedia. One way to get the RGB numbers for the color you would like to use is to navigate into the dialog that allows you to define custom colors in your desktop publishing software. Make sure RGB is selected as the color model, choose your color and use the numbers shown in the dialog. Here are some examples: RGB(192,0,0) RGB(142,20,20) RGB(0,192,0) RGB(79,98,40) RGB(0,0,192) RGB(54,95, 145) RGB(255,192,0) RGB(0,0,0) RGB(89,89,89) RGB(128,128,128) Then upload the mime file to the WebDynrpo component. Use a name starting with X, Y, or Z: Now configure your own XML file in field Skin for Chart. Related Content SNC Wiki SCM-SNC Forum SCM on BPX 2010 SAP AG 4
