Molina Marketplace Required Certification for 2016 We have put together a step by step guide to help with your 2016 Certification. The FFM is requiring agents to have this new certification to sell Marketplace plans for 2016. NOTE: Covered Ca and Washington Agents need to complete the certification thru their respective states Helpful hint: Microsoft Internet Explorer browser is unstable and it is recommended that using Google Chrome for the browser will be a better option.. There are MAJOR changes from 2015 in the access to the training and certifications!!! REPEAT: This process is totally different than in 2015. Agents with a FFM User name and password can enter their information in the fields. You can request help if you forgot your USER ID and/or PASSWORD
New Agents for 2016 need to register NEW USER REGISTRATION in the Upper Right hand corner. NOTE: This portal is used for all CMS programs, please MAKE SURE you are accessing the CMS SECURE PORTAL for your own protection. Login to CMS Secure Portal with your agent User ID.

Upon Successful completion of the User Registration, you have the option of entering the MLMS portal to register for the Training. As of September 22 nd, there are three Third Party CMS approved vendors providing traing and optional CE Continuing Education credits; AHIP, Gorman and NAHU. These sites require a fee. The MLMS is available a no cost to agents and no CE credit is available.

Upon Completion of the Training Profile, NOTE if you used the Training from Third Party Vendors, enter the CODE in the top field. A Dashboard will indicate the FFM Status when Identity Proofing is Complete and the status of the Training.
Agents will be linked to the Announcement and Training Options screen reminding them to use Chrome or Firefox browser to complete the training.
Agents will see the Learning path of 8 lessons and two exams
Then register for training. Select Web Based Training as the method of delivery
A confirmation screen will be displayed
On the LEFT side, Agents can display their Current Learning, Completed Learning, Curriculum and Recommendations Screen of Basics
Below is the completed Learning for Course 001 Welcome and 002 Affordable Care Act Basics The Curriculum Link will display the Percent Complete and allow agents to print the FFM certificate required to be uploaded in the Molina Broker Portal or sent to Molina Broker Support Team to be added to the agents file.
Must pass with a minimum 70% score Recommendations will list what is pending, IE FF-SHOP Marketplace Curriculum. Molina does not offer SHOP plans, but other carrier may require both Individual and SHOP FFM certification
CERTIFICATION is a multiple part process; Identity verification, registration, course training, exams attestations and certificate of completion. Only the 2015 Certificate of Complete is required by Molina in all FFM Federal Facilitated Marketplace. CA and WA will require their own certification.
