1. Introduction Accept EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard payments on the go with Kiwibank QuickPay. This Guide introduces you to the Kiwibank QuickPay App and the Kiwibank QuickPay device and explains how they work together. Using your new Kiwibank QuickPay App and device you can: 1. Accept EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard payments, including contactless payments. 2. Upload and maintain your product/service catalogue. 3. Email a quote, invoice, or receipt to your customers. 4. View and track payments in real time as well as transaction history. 2. Downloading the Kiwibank QuickPay App Before you re able to take your first payment, you need to download the QuickPay App onto your smartphone. The app is compatible with Apple smartphones that support operating system ios** (iphone.0) and above, and Android smartphones that support Android.0 Lollypop and above. If using an Android phone: 1. Visit the Google Play store. 2. Search for Kiwibank QuickPay. 3. Download the QuickPay App onto your smartphone. If using an Apple iphone: 1. Visit the App Store. 2. Search for Kiwibank QuickPay. 3. Download the QuickPay App onto your smartphone. Note: If you are setting up QuickPay for the first time, enter your Business Name in the sign up form. If you have been invited by the main QuickPay user from your business, enter the invitation code that was emailed to you. 2

3. Pairing Instructions ios and Android Your QuickPay device will arrive configured for Android or ios based on your advice at the time of application. Note: If you re changing from ios to Android or from Android to ios, follow the instructions under Switching between ios and Android before following the pairing instructions. Bluetooth Pairing the QuickPay Device with the QuickPay App Note: If you are not pairing for the first time, you will need to remove the previously paired smartphones from the ICMP device. To do this, follow the Remove Paired Smartphones instructions under Switching between IOS and Android on Page 10. 1. Open the Bluetooth Settings on your phone. 2. On your QuickPay device: a. Press F Key. b. At SUPERVISOR MENU screen, press 0 (zero) key. c. At ENTER PASSWORD? screen, key in 6 followed by ENTER. d. At FUNCTIONS, press 2 to select Bluetooth. e. At BLUETOOTH press 2 to select PAIR WITH PHONE. 3. On your phone, in the Bluetooth Settings the QuickPay Device should appear under My Devices as ICMP followed by the device serial number, tap on this to initiate connection. 4. On your phone, a Bluetooth pairing request will appear asking you to confirm the Code displaying on your QuickPay device.. Validate this on the QuickPay device; if correct press Enter on the QuickPay device followed by selecting Pair on ios and OK on Android. 6. The following message will appear on your QuickPay device: Pairing Success Press any key. Navigate to the QuickPay App > Settings > Device Setup. The Terminal Connected and Bluetooth Paired indicators will be green. ios users - you re now ready to accept payments! For our Android users, there are a few more steps for you to follow. Bluetooth Pairing 3

Update App Settings (for Android only): After successfully pairing your Android smartphone with the QuickPay device, you ll need to ensure your device settings are correct within the app. First, ensure the ICMP device you have paired with is selected under ICMP Device. Once selected, the radio button will display as blue. Next, you will need to select the Settings icon next to the ICMP device selection. Ensure the following options are set as per the illustration below and that Test SSL Keys Enabled is not selected: Navigate to Advanced Settings, and ensure the following options are set as per the illustration below: 4. Getting to Know Your Kiwibank QuickPay App Key Features With QuickPay you can virtually run your business on your phone. Accept card payments, maintain a list of products and services in the app, generate quotes and invoices, record cash payments, email receipts and process refunds. Product Catalogue The app offers a light product catalogue where you can add products and services directly to the Shopping Cart. Once a product is published, it s available to all team members to use in the app. This enables faster transactions and provides relevant information on your customers purchase receipts, invoices or quotes. The following details can be entered for a product: Product Category Product Image Product Name Product Description Product Price (inclusive and exclusive of GST) Discount Product Catalogue You add, edit or remove product categories through Settings then Product Catalogue. Select the product category drop down for options. 4

Shopping Cart From within the Shopping Cart, you can manage quantities, add a tip, add a convenience fee and generate quotes and invoices. Select Pay Now when you re ready to process the transaction. Select from the tabs which payment type you require (card or cash), enter the amount and select Submit. For card payments, the amount is sent straight to the device where your customer can pay by inserting the card, swiping the card or for contactless enabled cards, tapping it. Once the transaction has been processed, the transaction details appear on the screen and you ll have the option to email a receipt to your customer. Invoices and Quotes From the Shopping Cart, you can create an invoice or quote and email this to your customers straight away. This will be Shopping Cart personalised with your business name, logo and GST number as configured within your business profile. Pay Now and New Payment An invoice or quote can be converted into a payment in future by selecting the options Pay Quote or Pay Invoice under Reports and History in the context of a quote or invoice. The fastest way to accept a payment using EFTPOS or credit card is right on the QuickPay home screen Pay Now. Enter the amount and click Pay. The amount is sent straight to the QuickPay device where your customer can pay by inserting the card, swiping the card or for contactless enabled cards, tapping it. New Payment is another speedy way of processing card payments, and it also extends to cash. Select from the tabs which payment type you require (card or cash), enter the amount and select Submit. For all Pay Now and New Payment transactions, the transaction detail will appear on screen with an option for you to email the receipt to your customer. Reports and History Reports and History is located under the main menu. From here you ll be able to view your QuickPay transactions and search for transactions by: Pay Now and New Payment Transaction ID Processed by Transaction Type Payment Method Last four digits of card number Here, you ll have the option of setting up a transaction report to be emailed to you on a daily, weekly or monthly frequency. User Management Under User Management, you can add and maintain other QuickPay users. Enter an email address for the new user, and we ll send an email containing a unique business invitation code for them to use when signing up. Access to functions within the app is determined by the following user groups: Business Administrator Can add users, change all settings and view transactions of all users in the business.

POS Administrator Has full control of the product catalogue such as adding products, setting price and adding discounts. POS User Can make a sale, generate a quotation or invoice and accept payments. New User via Invitation Code If you ve been sent an invitation code, download the Kiwibank QuickPay App from Google Play or the App Store to set up your user profile. On the Sign Up screen, select Invitation Code, and enter the code sent to your email in the Business or Invitation Code field. This will link your user profile to the merchant account you ll be accepting payments on behalf of. Forgotten Password or PIN Code If you ve forgotten your password or locked yourself out of the App, select the Forgot Password hyperlink on the login screen, enter your QuickPay registered email address and we ll email you a unique six digit code for you to enter into the app to set up your password again. If you ve forgotten your four digit PIN code or locked yourself out of the App, select the Forgot PIN hyperlink in the top right corner of the PIN code screen and enter your login details to set up your PIN again.. Security Security of the QuickPay App and device is paramount for you and your customers. For this reason, you ll need a user ID, Password and PIN to log in to the app. We recommend that you: - Close the app when not using it. This will require your security PIN to be re-entered to unlock the app. - Have a security password or swipe pattern on the smartphone you re using with the QuickPay App as an additional level of protection. - Take reasonable care to prevent the loss, theft or unauthorised use of the card reader. Note: No customer or card information is stored in the app or on a mobile user s smartphone. 6. Getting to Know Your QuickPay Device Magnetic Stripe Charging Your Device You must fully charge your QuickPay device before using it for the first time, and remember to charge it regularly before use. To charge your QuickPay device, plug one end of the supplied USB cable into your card reader and the other into: - A powered USB port on your computer; or - A standard USB charger (not supplied). Battery Life To conserve battery life, your QuickPay device will enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of no activity. Your QuickPay device will last for approximately 4 hours of continuous use and up to 40 transactions. When the device is turned off and occasionally turned on to accept payments, the battery will last up to 3 days. If you re processing more transactions than described above between charges, we recommend you carry an external battery pack to support the additional volume. Shortcuts - To power on the terminal press the side key located on the right hand side of the terminal - To turn off the device, press and hold - and Clear buttons. This action is only possible when the device is not in charging mode. If it s in charging mode then the device will restart. Extend the QuickPay Device Sleep Mode To conserve battery life, your QuickPay device will enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of no activity. To extend or reduce this time, follow the steps below: 1. Press the F key on the device. 2. At SUPERVISOR MENU, Press 0 (zero) key. 3. ENTER PASSWORD? Will display on the device. Key in 6 followed by ENTER. 4. At FUNCTIONS press 0 (zero) or Enter to select TELIUM MANAGER.. At TELIUM MANAGER press to select INITIALISATION. 6. At INITIALISATION Press 2 to select HARDWARE.. At CONFIGURATION Press 1 to select BATTERY SETUP.. At BATTERY SETUP, press 1 to select STANDBY DELAY.. Set the standby delay as per your requirements. On the QuickPay device, this is set in seconds. For example, the default sleep time of 600 (seconds) is for 10 minutes. For 1 minutes, update the sleep time to 00 and so on.. Taking a Payment Using your Device The QuickPay device accepts contactless, swipe, chip and dip payments. Tap and Go If your customer wants to use their contactless card and the transaction value is greater than $0, upon tapping the QuickPay device they ll be prompted to enter their PIN. Chip and Dip If your customer has a card with a chip, they ll need to insert their card into the card slot and they ll be prompted to select their account and enter their PIN. Swipe If your customer has a card without a chip, they ll need to swipe their card through the magnetic reader and they ll be prompted to select their account and enter their PIN. Important note: QuickPay accepts EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard cards only.

Within the App You have three options for taking a payment within the QuickPay App: 1. Pay Now Pay Now is located on the QuickPay home screen. Enter an amount, select Pay, and the payment will be sent directly to your payment device for processing by inserting the card, swiping the card or for contactless enabled cards, tapping it. 2. New Payment New Payment is an option on the home screen and it allows a user to enter an amount for payment by cash or by card. Card payments are sent directly to your QuickPay device for processing by inserting the card, swiping the card or for contactless enabled cards, tapping it. 3. From the Shopping Cart By selecting Pay Now within the shopping cart, the user can pay the shopping cart total by cash or card. Card payments are sent directly to your QuickPay device for processing by inserting the card, swiping the card or for contactless enabled cards, tapping it. Authorisation by Signature If your customer needs to sign to authorise the payment (as with some credit cards), ask them to trace their signature for the receipt on your smartphone screen using their finger. Validate this against the signature on the back of their card. If the signature doesn t appear correct and you re concerned about the validity of the card, press Decline to cancel the transaction. Press Accept if you re happy to proceed. Payment Errors The app tells you when the transaction has been authorised. You may also receive an error message to let you know why a transaction hasn t been processed. Some of the common errors include, but aren t limited to: Status Transaction Declined Incorrect PIN Refer Issuer Transaction Cancelled Description Have the customer pay by other means and refer them to their bank for further information. An incorrect PIN has been entered. Ask the customer to try their PIN again. The customer will need to contact their bank to investigate the problem. This may happen if the transaction is interrupted or cancelled on the QuickPay App or device. Issue a Receipt To send your customer a receipt, select Email when the transaction confirmation appears on screen. This will trigger the Send Receipt pop up where you can enter the customer s email address (and cc email address) for the receipt to be sent to. Payment receipts are stored within your Transaction History (under View Receipt ) and can be resent at a later date if required. Refund a Transaction Processing a refund in the app is easy. The customer must present you with the same card that was used to process the original transaction or their Transaction ID (which is present on your customer s receipt). 1. First, locate the original transaction for refunding. This is done in Reports and Transactions and you can search by Transaction ID or the last four digits of your customer s card. 2. Once the original transaction is located, select the Refund button on the bottom right in the context of the transaction. 3. On your device, a prompt will appear; Merchant Card, followed by; Merchant PIN. Follow the prompts by swiping your merchant refund card and entering the PIN. Transaction History / Refund 4. Next, the device will prompt for the customer s card. Present/insert/tap or swipe card will appear on the device and app. Get the customer to follow these instructions with the card the refund will be paid to.. The transaction confirmation screen will display the status of the refund and allow you to send a refund receipt to your customer if required.

. Merchant Management On a standard terminal, a merchant has the ability to process a settlement inquiry, initiate settlement and view shift totals. For QuickPay, this is done within the app. To use these settlement features, navigate to Settings > Merchant Management. Settlement Enquiry The Settlement Enquiry function provides a list of all transactions performed since the time of last settlement. Initiate Settlement This feature will initiate the process of settlement which allows you to manually settle for the day. The device will automatically settle at 10:1pm daily, unless a manual settlement is performed. Shift Totals This function allows you to determine the total value of transactions since the last time you performed a Shift Total on your device. View Receipts After a settlement is done, manual or automatic, the list of transactions can be viewed under View Receipts.. Switching Between ios and Android Before sending out your QuickPay device to you, our team configured it to ios or Android, depending on what you advised at the time of application. You can follow the process below to reconfigure your device if switching from ios to Android, or from Android to ios. Once you have reconfigured the device, you ll need to follow the steps for pairing the app with the device. Refer to the Section on Pairing instructions. Activating or Deactivating Apple Support If you re switching to ios you ll need to activate Apple Support on the device before pairing with your phone. If you re switching to Android, you ll need to deactivate Apple Support. Follow the steps below to activate or deactivate Apple Support: 1. Press the hyphen key (-) 2. At FUNCTION? Key in 3 followed by Enter a. ios: If Deactivate Apple Support is displayed, press Cancel. If Activate Apple Support is displayed, press Enter. b. Android: If Deactivate Apple Support is displayed, press Enter. If Activate Apple Support is displayed, press Cancel. Proxy Setup on QuickPay Device 1. Press the F key on the device. 2. At SUPERVISOR MENU, Press 0 (zero) key. 3. ENTER PASSWORD? Will display on the device. Key in 6 followed by ENTER. 4. At FUNCTIONS press 0 (zero) or Enter to select TELIUM MANAGER.. At TELIUM MANAGER press to select INITIALISATION. 6. At INITIALISATION Press 2 to select HARDWARE.. At CONFIGURATION scroll down by pressing F2 or Press 6 to select PROXY SETUP. a. ios: Turn off Proxy press 1 to select No and don t proceed with the next steps. b Android: At USE PROXY? press 2 to select Yes and continue on to Step.. At USE PROXY? press 2 to select SOCK.. At IP ADDRESS PROXY enter 1.1.1.1 followed by ENTER (to enter a full stop, use the hyphen key -). 10. At PORT PROXY, Key in 100 followed by ENTER. 11. At USE AUTHENTICATION, Press 1 to select NO. 12. You ll then return to the CONFIGURATION screen, press CANCEL to exit out of the menu.

Remove Paired Smartphones If you are not pairing for the first time, you will need to remove the previously paired smartphones from the ICMP device. To do this, follow the instructions below: 1. Press the F key on the device. 2. At SUPERVISOR MENU, Press 0 (zero) key. 3. ENTER PASSWORD? Will display on the device. Key in 6 followed by ENTER. 4. At FUNCTIONS press 2 to select BLUETOOTH.. At BLUETOOTH(ON) Press 4 to select PAIRED DEVICES. 6. At PAIRED DEVICES Select the device and Press ENTER.. Press 1 to select REMOVE, repeat until there are no paired devices..
