Safety Warnings For traffic safety, do not use earphones while driving or cycling. Damage Please inspect the unit for damage after unpacking. Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way - switch off, unplug from the mains socket and consult your dealer. Temperature Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas / electric fires. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Naked Flames Never place any type of candle or naked flame on the top of or near the unit. Interference Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause electromagnetic interference. If you do, it may adversely affect the working performance of the unit, and cause a distorted sound. 4

Earphones Listening to loud sounds for prolonged periods of time may permanently damage your hearing. Before putting on earphones, turn the volume down then put the earphones on and slowly increase the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level. 5

Charging the Battery When using the unit for the first time, charge it fully first. 1. Connect the USB charging cable to the headphones. 2. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to a powered USB device. Status Low battery Charging Fully charged LED Indicator The red indicator will light up. The red indicator will light up. The red indicator will wink out. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery. While charging the headphones, the Bluetooth function will be disabled. You can use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect to your audio device. 8

Switching Bluetooth On/Off To switch on Bluetooth feature, press and hold until the blue indicator lights up. If the headphones are already paired with a Bluetooth device before, it will automatically connect with the last paired device when both are in pairing mode. To switch off, press and hold until the red indicator lights up for 2 seconds. If no previously-paired Bluetooth device is found within 3 minutes, the headphones will switch off automatically. The unit will automatically switch to Sleep Mode after 10 minutes of no activity. 9

Bluetooth Pairing 1. Switch on the headphones. 2. The indicator starts flashing red and blue rapidly and alternately. The headphones are now in pairing mode. 3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the your Bluetooth device and start searching. Then select GTCBTNC16. 4. If necessary, enter the passcode, 0000, to pair and connect the headphones. Some device also ask to confirm the headset connection after paring. 5. The blue indicator will light up and the headphones will hear a voice signal after you have successfully paired the headphones. You can also use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect to your audio device. Operate from your music player or mobile device to adjust the volume or music. The Bluetooth feature will disable while using the 3.5mm audio cable. To save battery, you may turn off the Bluetooth feature before connecting with 3.5mm audio cable. 10

Adjusting the Volume To adjust the headphones volume, press / repeatedly during a call or while listening to music. Long-term exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage. It is best to avoid extreme volume when using earphones, especially for extended periods. Playback Functions If you receive or make a call while listening to music, the music is paused until you end the call. Call Functions To make a call, use your smartphone in the normal way when the headphones are connected to it. To Press Button Answer call once End call once Reject call Hold for 2 seconds Redial last call twice Not compatible with all smartphone brands; please check your individual smartphone user manual. Noise Cancelling Noise cancelling feature designed specifically to block constant, low frequency noises, and is excellent for train, or bus travel. To enable noise cancelling feature, slide the button to ON position, the indicator will light up. Although noise is reduced, it is not cancelled completely. 12

Hints and Tips Product not working: Recharge the product. Ensure the product is switched on. Ensure your Bluetooth-enabled device s wireless function is active. Ensure there are no other wireless devices in discovery mode. Move the product closer to the device. Pair again the product and the device. If you found that your audio device not compatible with the product, you may use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect. 13
