The software uses industry standard communication protocols and a component-based architecture to efficiently manage your network devices. includes an easy-to-use, intuitive WebUI that enables you to easily perform all the device management functions that are required to run and maintain your WDM Environment. You can access this WebUI using any of the supported browsers from anywhere, which makes it simple and powerful tool. Importance Dell Wyse recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains major feature enhancements or changes that help keep your software current and compatible with other modules. 1

What s new in WDM 5.7.2 This section provides details on the new features added in this release. New Database server support SQL Express 2014 WDM 5.7.2 supports new Database server SQL express 2014 32-bit server. FIPS support for Web UI Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) support from Web UI. Modified Cryptographic algorithm is used to support the security requirements for FIPS. Supports Custom Certificate for HTTPS communications You can select custom Certificate at the time of installation, which is configured for secure communication of the WDM. Database Scripts for manual installation of WDM database WDM 5.7.2 bundles the database scripts to manually install WDM 5.7.0 database on a remote database server. These scripts are located at folder WDM build location\ ManualDatabaseSQLScripts. For detailed description on how to use these scripts to install database, see WDM installation guide. ThreadX 5.x enhancements 1 Load Balancing for ThreadX 5.x: WDM 5.7.2 supports the load balancing feature for ThreadX 5.x devices. You can install and run multiple instances of Teradici Device Proxy Servers on different systems and configure the load balancing feature between them. Verify the load balancing that is configured on the Ubuntu Linux version 16.04.1LTS with the HAProxy version 1.6. There is a standalone utility WDMTeradiciDeviceProxy.exe at WDM Build Folder\TeradiciDeviceProxy. You can use this to install Teradici Device Proxy on different servers. For detailed information on how to set up the load balancing for ThreadX 5.x devices, see WDM installation guide. 2 Device Discovery for ThreadX 5.x: Manual Discovery is supported for ThreadX 5.x devices using IP range and Subnets. 3 Relay WOL support for ThreadX 5.x: Relay WOL is supported for ThreadX 5.x devices from WDM, provided the specific subnet should have at least one active Dell Wyse Thin Client WES Client. 4 Charge back accounting for ThreadX 5.x: This feature is also supported for ThreadX 5.x devices. It collects and stores remote session information from the ThreadX 5.x device. This data is useful in charging the end users for the remote sessions. 5 Support for adding multiple VMware Broker servers for ThreadX 5.x: 2

You can add a total of 25 VMware broker server using PCoIP Configuration Utility. 6 Dashboard: The Dashboard page allows you to view the status of different ThreadX components. For example, ThreadX, ThreadX 5.x, Teradici Device Proxy, and the Teradici HAProxy details, and also their health status. Alerts and Events: For ThreadX 5.x, a warning alert appears when the number of devices reaches up to 15000, indicating that the Teradici Proxy Server is reaching to its full capacity. An error alert appears when the number of devices reaches up to 18000 devices, indicating that the Teradici Proxy server available in the WDM reached to its full capacity and now it is time to deploy another proxy server to manage the ThreadX devices. 7 Console: Teradici Device Proxy Server and HA Proxy Server details can be added, modified, and deleted through console page. HA Proxy server You can add a new HA Proxy server or update an existing HA Proxy server in the WDM Teradici Device Proxy server You can add a new Teradici Device Proxy server or update an existing Teradici Device Proxy server in the WDM Import subnet with group features The import utility is updated to import subnet with multiple groups (with the corresponding group values) for existing subnets. A new option, Default Groups for Subnets is added to the import category drop down list. Import subnet with different contiguous bits is also supported in this release. Granular user permissions WDM 5.7.2 supports the functionality of giving the granular permissions to different users. Administrator can assign Granular level permissions for each feature. Each and every action that you can perform from WEB UI can be granted/denied access to you. For example, permission for each of the real-time commands (reboot, shutdown, and WOL) can be granted to different users by administrator. Administrator can enable or disable all the user permissions mentioned for a specific group at a time. For example, if you click the Devices On/Off option, the result reflects on all the user permissions mentioned under Devices category. If administrator enables or disables any user permission individually under any category, the result will reflect as Turn all off option in that particular category/group. Certificate expiration tracker WDM provides a utility, which tracks expiration of CA certificates. WDM administrator should manually enter basic information about CA Certificates including name, description, expiration date, and logging threshold. WDM will track these information and informs the administrator about expiration of certificate. This information is logged to windows event viewer.
