Sports headphones: Product gallery, supplier profiles, importing guide Sports headphones go cordless yet secure Many models adopt ear hooks or a neckband, to ensure a secure fit during workouts. China-made sports headphones target specifically the fitness market, and models in this selection adopt a cordless design and come with ear hooks, securing a comfortable fit during workouts. China phone accessory & parts suppliers guide Few people in the world realize how concentrated the electronics industry actually is. Many are aware that most consumer electronics are assembled in China, but Made in Guangdong province would be a fairer description. China s electronics industry is highly concentrated in the southern Pearl River Delta region. Here s overview of the key clusters for Guangdong smartphone parts and accessories makers: City Shenzhen Dongguan Guangzhou Main products Replacement screens & digitizers Power banks Batteries Adapters Smart devices Earphones & headphones Running armbands Bluetooth devices Selfie sticks Silicone & TPU cases Neoprene armbands Wires & cables Leather cases Replacement screens & digitizers Batteries The industry is crowded with everything from small online traders to high-end contract manufacturers, including Foxconn. While small traders can often offer a wide product range, they are rarely reliable long-term partners. Most such trading companies, which I believe make up the majority of supplier listing on B2B directories, trade goods primarily manufactured for the domestic China market. Such products are almost never made in compliance with overseas electrical safety standards, substance restrictions and labelling requirements, including those in the US, Australia and the EU. Importing phone cases containing excessive amounts of lead or hazardous phone chargers is obviously illegal and may result in serious fines. As such, importers in most developed countries must make sure that they are dealing with real manufacturers who are able to show compliance. For natural reasons, manufacturers specialize in certain product categories. In addition, the quantity requirements may range from 500 to 1,000 pieces per SKU. That being said, many phone accessory and part suppliers can offer slightly lower MOQ requirements, starting from only 50 to 100 pieces per SKU. Product development The most challenging aspect of launching new products is to first identify a suitable manufacturer and turn a technical specification into a prototype ready for mass production. Here s how you should approach the latter: Option A: OEM parts & accessories Developing a new, custom-designed OEM product requires additional tooling, including injection molds. Electrical phone accessories such as Bluetooth devices also require custom-designed PCB cards and component breakdowns. Realizing even the simplest OEM design can prove challenging, as China manufacturers generally never offer extensive product development services. They consider themselves as for what they are, simply makers, while the specifications must be provided by the buyer. That s also fair since it s the importer that reaps the benefits of a successful launch. If you decide to develop an OEM design, you must prepare the following: CAD files (casing) PCB design drawings Component lists Material specifications Source code Print files (.ai format) Option B: ODM parts & accessories A faster method to launch new products is by branding an existing ODM product. Essentially, you can customize basic design elements such as colors and materials and have your More exclusive news: GlobalSources.com/MobileElectronics 7

Regulations in the US and the EU While no regulations apply specifically to phone parts and accessories as a product category, there are various regulations applicable to different products classified as such.
