User Manual Notice Before operating the device, please read the safety precautions and user s guide carefully to ensure safe and proper usage. The descriptions in this user s guide are based on the factory default settings. The pictures and screenshots in this user s manual may slightly differ from the look of your tablet. The format and information of this user s manual is based on Google Android 4.0 ICS operating system. The applications and their functions vary according to their release date and the operating system that they were designed for. 4Sight, LLC won t be responsible for problems in performance caused by third party applications. 1

Introduction of device and accessories Accessories After unpacking, first check that the following items are included: Tablet USB cable AC/DC Adapter 4Sight, LLC will not be responsible for any incompatibility or damage caused by third party accessories. Battery charging The device is equipped with a built-in battery. Charge the battery fully before using the device for the first time. It is recommended to charge the device for a minimum of at least ten hours for first use. Only use the provided charger or USB cable (input: AC110~240V 50/60Hz; output: DC5V/2.5A). 4Sight, LLC will not be responsible for any device damage caused by an unapproved charger. The user can t replace the built-in battery. Please contact the service provider for information on battery replacement. You can charge the battery with the charger or USB cable. When the battery level drops lower than 15%, the device will send an alert and display a low battery message. The battery icon in the lower right corner also appear empty. If the battery power runs out, the device powers off automatically. Connect the charger before attempting to power the unit back on. If the battery completely runs out, the device cannot be turned on even when first connecting the power adapter. In this instance, charge the unit for five minutes and power it back on. You can use the device while charging, but this will increase the charging time. 3

While charging, the battery icon will display the charging lightning bolt It is normal for the device to become hot while charging, the device s battery life and performance will not be affected. When the battery is fully charged, please disconnect the power adapter. Full charging requires roughly 4 hours. The battery is consumed faster if APPS or WiFi is running in background. To save battery power, close unused applications. You can also reduce the battery consumption time by turning down the brightness of the display also, when being unused, press the power button [ ] to switch the unit to sleep mode. 4

Before using the touch screen, please review the below advice on proper use. Do not use foreign objects to make selections on the touch screen as this will damage the screen Do not saturate the touch screen with water, or any other liquid This device is equipped with a capacitive touch screen, which detects the charge sent out by the human body. To achieve the best results, touch the screen with your fingertips; do not operate the device using a stylus, pen or any sharp object. There are a few basic commands that are available to control the unit through the touch screen: Tap: tap once quickly Tap and hold: tap and hold an item for at least two seconds Drag: tap and hold an item, and drag it to your desired location Double tap: quickly tap an item twice Slide: slide up, down, left or right to browse through lists or menus If your tablet remains untouched for an extended period of time, it will automatically enter standby mode and shut down the display to save battery power. Press the power button [ ] to wake up the screen Operation interface When the screen wakes up after being in standby mode, it will be locked. You can view the device status (charging or not) as well as 7

view the time. Unlocking: When powering on the unit, the device enters the locked screen interface; tap and hold, and drag to the icon to the icon to unlock and enter the main interface: Main interface description: 8

Icon Function Search; allows you to conduct an internet search easily from the home screen of your tablet Tap this button to enter the Apps menu and browse your device s installed apps Back; a tap of this button will take you back to the previous screen you were working on. Adding and deleting shortcuts on main screen Adding App shortcuts to the home screen: tap the application icon from the home screen to bring you to the apps list: In the list, tap and hold the icon of the app that you want to create a home screen shortcut form, drag and drop it to your desired position on the main screen. The shortcut icon of this application will be added to the main screen. Add widgets to the home screen: tap the application icon from the home screen to bring you to the apps list. Slide the screen to the right, until your desired widget appears on the screen 10

Tap and hold your desired widget, drag and drop it to your desired position on the main screen. The widget will be added to the main screen. Delete items from the main screen: From the home screen of your tablet, tap and hold the item to be removed -- the Recycle Bin will appear on the top of the main screen. Drag and drop the icon into the Recycle Bin and release the item when the Recycle Bin turns red, your item will be deleted from the main screen Wallpaper settings: on the main screen, tap and hold anywhere on the background (do not tap in icon). The Choose wallpaper from dialog box appears to set the background image. 11

Connecting to PC through USB: Connect your PC via the USB cable to your tablet. The USB connected icon will appear in the bottom right of the screen; tap to pop up the USB storage window, select the USB connected option to pop up the USB connected interface. Tap Turn on USB storage to finish connect your device to your PC. When your device is in this mode, you can copy, cut, or delete files from the device s hard drive or the devices micro memory card. 12

Basic settings Settings: tap the Settings icon to enter the settings interface 1) Wifi settings: 1. Turn on Wi-Fi; 2. All available access points will be listed; tap and select the desired IP name; 3. If the IP isn t encrypted, tap Connect in the popup window; 4. If the IP is encrypted, type the password in the popup window and tap Connect ; 5. When the network is connected successfully, the wireless connection icon appears in the lower right status bar of the screen and connected shows below the IP. 2) Data usage : view the data flow of the wireless network, and set up warnings. 3) Sound : adjust the volume, and modify ringtone & notificati ons, etc. 13

Tap an application in the DOWNLOADED section to stop or uninstall it (cannot uninstall the factory installed applications) 8) Accounts & sync : tap in the top right to add an account, which can synchronize with your calendar, contacts and e-mail. 16

9) Location services : set up whether you want your device determining your location through Wi-Fi. 10) Security : set up screen lock, owner info, password, etc. 17

11) Language & input : chose your preferred language and input method. 12) Backup & reset : back up your tablet s data using your Google account. Also restore the tablet to its factory default settings (note: 18

this operation will clear all personal information and downloaded applications) 13) Date & time : set the date, time, and the format of both the time and dates 14) About tablet : view the model number and version information 19

Troubleshooting: The device is frozen: If the device is frozen or suspended, you may need reset the device to resume normal function. Using a paperclip, press the reset button on the back of the unit, unit will restart. Safety precautions: To protect you and others from hurt and avoid damaging the device, please read the following information carefully before using the device. Warning: Handle your unit with care Do not put the device in or on the top of heating devices (e.g. microwave oven, oven or radiator) Do not squeeze or pierce the battery. Do not expose the device to extreme temperature. 20

Keep the device dry Moisture and liquids may damage the parts or electronic circuits. Do not turn on the device if it is wet. If the device has been turned on when wet, turn it off immediately. Wait sufficient time for the unit to dry before powering back on. The warranty is void if the device is damaged due to water intake. Do not use or store the device in dusty or dirty places. Do not store the device in any places with extreme temperature. Use the device in the temperature range of -4 F~120 F. Do not leave the device in a closed vehicle, as temperatures many times exceed this range Do not expose the device in direct sunlight for long periods of time Do not put the device near magnetic fields Doing so will drain the battery Do not use device covers or parts with magnetic shells Do not drop or harshly impact your device. This may damage the screen of the device. If bent or deformed, the device s internal parts may be damaged. Do not disassemble, refit or repair the device The warranty will be void if you change or modify the device without permission. Do not disassemble or pierce the battery to avoid possible bodily harm To clean the device: Wipe the device with a tissue or towel Do not use chemicals or cleaning agents Only use the device for intended purposes Ensure the safety of personal and important data Please back up your important data 21
