Notice Do not leave the DVR on the windscreen when parked, especially in summer, as it is a security risk and may get damaged and/or discoloured by excessive sun and heat. Important: Only use the supplied charger/power supply & USB lead. Never disassemble or attempt repair of this product. Do not manually operate the device whilst driving. This camera is intended for non-commercial use. Mongoose is NOT responsible for the loss of any data during operation. GPS location and speed accuracy may differ depending on weather and location such as high buildings, tunnels, undergrounds, or forests. GPS satellite signals cannot pass through solid materials (except plastic and glass). Tinted windscreen may affect the performance of the GPS satellite reception. The values displayed in this system, such as speed and position may be inaccurate due to the influence of surrounding environment or user settings. They are only a guide for your reference. If powering up inside a garage or building, GPS location will take longer due to poor indoor reception. 2

Driving before GPS ready is announced will result in no GPS travel log being recorded prior to the announcement. Motion detection As shipped, the camera will automatically start recording when the engine is started and stop recording when the engine is turned off. This is assuming your vehicles power socket is ignition controlled. Through settings, you can select motion detection. The camera starts recording when it detects movement and stops when no movement is detected. When you start moving again, recording recommences.
