WRISTBAND CREATOR Tool Instructions Step 1: Select Type of Wristband you desire (A) Silicone bands can be constructed in MANY designs with numerous message, color and personalization options available. The first step is to select the TYPE of silicone wristband that works best for you and the specific uses you have in mind for it. (B) Sometimes silicone wristbands are not the best choice for your function. Selecting any of the following types will take you to the non Silicone wristband selection and purchasing area where you can explore and order other types of specialized wristbands: Vinyl Tyvek Plastic Selecting a TYPE of wristband from the picture gallery presented, will pop up an overview window giving you DESCRIPTION, IDEAS & USES, SAMPLE IMAGE, and CLOSE UP showing texture of the TYPE wristband you selected. (example shown below)
Navigation Note: Once you complete each of the 6 steps in the design process you will proceed to the next step by clicking on the check mark in the upper right of the wristband designer tool. You can go BACK to previous steps by selecting the BACK button that will appear next to the GO TO NEXT STEP check mark Step 2: Select STYLE of Wristband you like Wristbands can be manufactured using several combinations of band construction and colors. Solid color bands are common. However, creation of multi-colored bands with horizontal, vertical or multiple swirl color segments are all possible. Examples of each style of band construction are presented for each TYPE of band..making your selection from the picture gallery shown, one of a simple CLICK on the style you want to design. Don t worry about the colors at this stage, in the next step you will select your COLOR(s) used in the manufacturing of the wristband. Depending on the STYLE you chose, you will then be asked to select from 1 to 4 colors that will go into the manufacture of your wristband using a similar POINT and CLICK selection process. Step 3: Pick Color(s) for your Wristband To select COLORS for your wristband you can either use the PMS selection table or you can input an exact PMS color number (Especially important if you need to match your Corporate Logo colors) You will be presented with a number of color selection buttons based on the number of colors you selected for your design. Clicking the Color Selection button brings out the PMS color selection table with colors displayed in ascending numerical order (and a convenient top row of commonly used colors). [Image of PMS selection table here] Click on the color you desire (you can change it later to create and view various effects), and when completed the rendering of the wristband showing the basic STYLE, TYPE and COLOR(s) will be shown in the upper right of the Wristband Creator tool. As you make changes---you will see them reflected in the representation of your custom designed wristband on the page. PMS NUMBERS--For corporate users or those requiring a SPECIFIC PMS Color for your logo or images You can select the exact PMS color desired either by entering the PMS number or by selecting that number/color swatch from the color selection tool presented to you. IMPORTANT NOTE about displaying colors: PMS colors used in manufacturing will be exact based on the PMS color palette. Monitors (and printers) do not always display true colors and every monitor will display colors slightly differently from the next. NOTICE THE STOCK DESIGNS: You will note that on most wristband types we have created shown a gallery of some popular designs showing various
styles and color combinations that are available for ordering without any additional configuration choices-----see one you like?, click on it and you are done. ************ STOCK DESIGNS IMAGE HERE Navigation Note: PRICE: You will notice that as you make changes throughout the design process the price changes in the window to the left of your wristband design image. Completion of the final step will display the price for the order based on features, style, quantity purchased, etc. DESIGN and COLORS: As you select the STYLE and COLORS for your wristband, the ACTUAL DESIGN will appear and change as you select options and apply them to your unique wristband design. You are now ready to select and apply your custom MESSAGE, TEXT COLORS and any IMAGES you wish to display on your wristband
Step 4: Add TEXT / FONT to Your Band You will create the TEXT MESSAGE to display on the wristband in this step along with selecting the FONT the message will be displayed in. You have 4 LOCATIONS in which a message can be placed on the Wristband each additional placement beyond the FRONT is priced as an additional charge item. Front Inside Front Back Inside Back BACK FRONT INSIDE BACK INSIDE FRONT not visible Using each of the boxes representing the 4 text placement locations, enter the text message you wish to apply on (or inside) the wristband. You can change the TEXT COLOR, FONT used, and the BOLD or ITALICS of the font display by highlighting a letter (or word, or the entire text string) and applying any of the above attributes. Same for the COLOR of the font if it is to be color filled or screen printed. EVERY LETTER can be controlled individually if you wish using this technique. MAX CHARACTERS: The FRONT and BACK will each handle ~35 characters on each side, but the DISPLAY in the window will only show 18 characters for viewing. Not to worry, this is only a DISPLAY limitation and the band will be created as you specify. As you enter the Text in the window provided, note how it displays in the proof image of the wristband you are designing in the upper right of the
creator tool. As you apply changes to font or color they will be rendered and display in the proof image allowing you to fine tune your artistic creation. TEXT COLORS: Amy PMS color can be applied as a text fill or screen print color. Note that Screen Printed, Color Filled, and Color Coated bands allow use of a colored text. Laser Made, Ultra Violet and Dark Glow bands can also have a screen print or color filled text applied if desired. All other wristband types have text embossed or debossed and it displays in the same color as the wristband. Step 5: Add ARTWORK to Your Band If you are placing any art on the wristband you will first SELECT the artwork from its location on your computer then UPLOAD it to the Designer Tool. Once you have uploaded the image, it will display a thumbnail and ask you to select WHERE (position on the wristband) to place the image using a pulldown selection menu under the thumbnail. There are some common and frequently used positions identified for placement of images >>>BEFORE or AFTER the text >>>as well as any position in the MIDDLE of the text. Once you make a selection of location for placing the image, the design tool will display the image on your wristband you are building and you can then MOVE THE DESIGN around to place it in any location you prefer if the standard position of BEFORE or AFTER are not what you desire. Drag, Drop, finished.
Step 6: Order Details Prior to Completion Once you have completed the basic DESIGN and LAYOUT of your wristband you will need to elect a few additional features to complete your order. SIZE (Length of the Band) and QUANTITY need to be entered in this step to complete the minimum ordering requirements to allow calculation of your order price. OPTIONAL FEATURES: will be displayed for you to further customize the final packaging and other various design or delivery alternatives available. The SYSTEM will present the available options to you depending on the TYPE of wristband you have selected. ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT?
