Microdisectomy Instruments Bayonet Style Bayonet design for improved visualization Ergonomic handle for enhanced control Multiple tip configurations and geometries These instruments are specifically designed for microdiscectomy procedures and are available in three designs to meet the unique clinical needs of spinal surgery. Cervical Set (MF250) smaller cup sizes and refined nerve hooks and bone waxer for the smaller anatomy in the cervical area. Cervical Long Set (MF271) same tip configurations as the Cervical Set, but longer lengths to improve reach. Lumbar Set (MF295) larger cup sizes and larger dissectors optimally suited for lumbar procedures. Each set has multiple tip configurations to offer the optimal clinical solution and improved comfort for the surgeon by eliminating the need to rotate the instrument, hand, or forearm. Every instrument has a bayonet design for improved visualization to the working area and ergonomic handles, with flat sides for enhanced control and stability. The instruments are available as a set, complete with storage trays, or on an individual basis. The storage trays will fit in Aesculap s full size container for sterilization.
