Mailing Today. Customers are required to hold a permit at every site where they enter mail for verification. This permit imprint permit is also used as the account to pay for that mail. 4
Mail Anywhere The same permit can be used at every mail entry site. One trust account in one location to pay for all mailings nationwide, or Permits linked to a CAPS account to utilize electronic payment methods. Pay one fee rather than multiple 5

Full-Service Criteria Demonstrate and meet Full-Service compliance for each category: Accurate Original Container Information (OCI) file for copal Valid Mailer ID (MID) and Service Type ID (STID) in barcodes Accurate By/For information (MID, CRID) Valid entry facility Valid First-Class mail separations per Customer Service Agreement (CSA) Accurate ship dates 11
Mail Anywhere Compliance Report Mailers pursuing authorization for the Mail Anywhere Program will have their criteria evaluated from the last 30 days based on the electronic documentation. The USPS will work with mailers to address any issues found within the Mailer Compliance Scorecard. The data is based on the customer that is preparing the mail. Mail Service Providers the report will be evaluated based on the MSP s data from the CRID of location of where the mail is prepared. Mail Owner the report is evaluated based on your MSP s data overall from the CRID of the location of where the mail is prepared. 12

Mail Anywhere Submission Before Mail Anywhere With Mail Anywhere Identify MSP and Mail Owner (By/For) with a local permit Permit type, permit #, and permit ZIP+4 must define permit held at local office where mailing Use the permit number to pay for mailings Post Office of Mailing ZIP - defines BMEU where the permit is held Identify the MSP and Mail Owner (By/For) with a CRID (Customer Registration ID) or Mailer (MID) Permit type, permit #, and permit ZIP+4 identifies permit but this permit does not need to be at office of mailing Use the account number for payment Post Office of Mailing ZIP - BMEU that oversees verification 18

How to Obtain MID/CRID Prior to July 2013 Request MID/CRID manually Prepare an Excel spreadsheet request that is outlined in the MID CRID Acquisition Quick Step Guide: Bulk Acquisition via Manual Data Request section and send an e-mail and the spreadsheet to the PostalOne! Customer Care Center at PostalOneCCC@usps.gov. The guide can be accessed via RIBBS at the following URL: https://ribbs.usps.gov/intelligentmail_mail_id_app/documents/tec h_guides/midcridacquisitionquickstep.pdf After July 2013 Request MID/CRID electronically. New BCG capabilities for MSPs to obtain account information for customers and apply for MID/CRID on the customer s behalf. 20
Pilot Program Pilot April 2012 Summer 2013 3 customers are currently participating 10 customers are in the queue to begin Our customers like the fact that they can use a centralized account via a single permit to do creative and different types of mailings without opening a new permit. It makes it more flexible for the customers. We benefit from the program because our customers in turn benefit from the program. This keeps the cost down for them and brings us more customers. Our customers enjoy the luxury of paying for and using a single permit. 21

Paying Today. Customers must go to each BMEU location to deposit funds and pay fees to their Permit Trust Accounts. 23 23
Pay Anywhere Allow customers to make deposits to their permit trust accounts at any Postal Service Point of Sale (POS) retail site that supports BMEU transactions. Allow customers more convenience in managing their trust account funding actions. 24
