The subsequent screen will prompt for your preferred phone number. Enter, and this will kick off a back end user authentication process to upload your information into the website engine. Your account will be active within 24 hours, typically sooner. An email will be generated and sent to your USF email containing a password reset link. If you do not receive the message within 24 hours, perform the <forgot password> function to re-send the link. If you still do not receive it, please send an email to techpurchasing@usf.edu and we will research the issue. Upon successful login to the Store, you should see the following landing page: IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are a USF Faculty or Staff member you will see the following notice, it is very important that you select the proper Company Store before proceeding: 1
For Students or other USF Affiliates that are in roles other than Faculty or Staff, you will not see that pop up window or have multiple stores to order from, you will be in the University of South Florida Retail Store site only. Note for USF Faculty and Staff: if you do not get the pop-up or see USF DEPARTMENT PCARD OR PO as a drop-down, please notify techpurchasing@usf.edu so that we can check your account settings. Use of the Retail Company Store will trigger tax to be added to your order and alter the catalog offerings. Congratulations! My Favorites we ll explain how to populate this when searching for products Reports access to your order history, clicking on the document number will display details. You will find various ways to filter and view the data as well as saving the report. 3
Ready to shop? Okay let s go! As mentioned earlier if you are a USF Faculty/Staff member using Department funds be sure you are in the right Company Store, and then select the proper Catalog in the left column: You will find multiple ways to shop, using the Search or Advanced Search options at the top of the page, clicking on the Apple Campus Store, Dell, or Microsoft Logos, reviewing Featured Products on the Home Page, or Browsing by Category in the left column. Browsing by category/subcategory will return a list of products to review. If you would like to select a product to add to your cart, make a favorite, or compare products simply check the box next to them and then use the drop-down box above the checked items to perform the operation. NOTE: Not all products have detailed descriptions that enable comparisons. If you need specs that are not available, please click ask sales in the upper black navigation bar and submit your request. 4
You may also sort the information based on any of the headers that are in green, such as Sell Price or Mfr Part #, as well as choosing In Stock Only to narrow your selection If the Product Category/Subcategory you re shopping has multiple manufacturers, or additional criteria to refine the selection, you will see a column on the right to refine your selection by Manufacturer as well as other elements based on the type of product you are reviewing. These choices will allow you to narrow your results, while maintaining the ability to compare products, add to favorites, or add to cart. If you go a bit deeper than you desire, you can follow the breadcrumbs backwards removing filters by clicking the small yellow circle with x in it 5
Once you ve located the products you are searching for and have placed them in your cart, choose <View Cart> from the main navigation bar. Please review your steps as you complete the order, and if you are uncertain that your selections are correct, please <Ask Sales> or contact techpurchasing@usf.edu for assistance. We re here to help you! Helpful tips: Company should reflect USF-DEPARTMENT PCARD OR PO if this is a department order, or University of South Florida Retail Store if this is a personal purchase by student, faculty, staff or affiliate shopping for personal use. Description is not a required field but is extremely helpful in locating your order if assistance is needed as well as for your reference when reviewing reports at a later time. If left blank, you will likely notice that the IT Tech Purchasing team may have edited this to reflect your name and brief description to assist us in supporting you. At this point you may select from the actions below the cart: Checkout, Save Cart for Later, Empty Cart, Refresh Prices, Continue Shopping or Send (which is the ability to print, email or PDF the cart contents) 6
NOW is the time to edit your shipping information! Personal Users please do NOT Add (button to the right of the first field), simply complete and select Next at the bottom of the screen. Departments may add their USF addresses for convenience if desired, just be aware that the list is viewable by other users. NOTE: For Department Orders needing IT Setup please select the address with LSA102 IT Setup in the drop-down. Completeness of your address lines is very important, first address line should be the campus address with your building/room. Second address line should be your name. Payment terms, delivery method, and special instructions are entered on the next page: 7
If using a Department PCard or Personal Credit Card, Select Credit Card if using Money Order or Check, please mark and send the funds. Contact techpurchasing@usf.edu for details to do so. If using a Department Purchase Order, please enter the PO# on the screen, and email the PO to techpurchasing@usf.edu we must have that prior to processing the order. Click Next at the bottom of the page. The next screen will display the information that you entered during checkout. Please review all fields, read the terms and conditions, and choose Agree if you do so. If not, you may Decline to cancel the order. 8
After you Agree the next screen displays your order confirmation. You may wish to retain a copy for your records, but also can return to the site and use the Reports function to pull it back up for reference. 9
