The storage capacity for SafePost 54, 70, 80, 90, 110 and 855 can be doubled. The shelf can be placed at the bottom of the mailbox through a very simple adjustment (B). The mailbox can then store up to four week s of normal postal deliveries. If the mailbox is emptied on a daily basis, the shelf is kept at its upper position (A) for easy access. Maintenance Wipe off any dirt and winter salt. Remove price tags etc. with a mild solvent such as white spirit and do not scrape the surface with an abrasive object. Regular waxing of your SafePost is recommended. Stainless steel letter box surfaces need to be wiped/treated regularly with a normal surface treatment liquid (as used for stainless steel kitchen sinks, for example). Use standard locksmith lubricant, as this prevents moisture from remaining in the lock. It needs to be done well in advance of freezing weather conditions. Guarantee The manufacturer of the SafePost range of mailboxes gives: - a 3 year functional guarantee. - a 10 year corrosion-perforation warranty The guarantee is valid during normal weather conditions, provided the above maintenance instructions have been followed and that the box has not been damaged.
