CEPA recommendations from 2013 a. include citizen engagement as a core criterion for evaluating different aspects of governments performance (International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions EGM); b. inventory and assessment tool on citizen engagement (UNPACS, METEP); c. map formal ways of engagement and correlate them with information on outcomes in terms of development (UNPACS); d. publicize and follow up on previous anti-corruption work (Online training for citizen engagement for anti-corruption commissions, updates to Divisional webpage on ethics, transparency and accountability); 4

CEPA recommendations from 2013 (continued) e. organize expert group meetings (EGMs) on key issues of citizen engagement (INTOSAI EGM, Workshop in Manama); f. translate the Open Government Data Guidelines into different languages and work on the self-assessment toolkit (Japanese, self-assessment included in Guidelines); g. prepare simple public information on basic governance goals targeting audiences such as youth by using social media (input into SG s reports and post-2015 development agenda publicity); and h. work with observers on outreach (EC-ESA GIB, UNPAN partners) 5
