1. Pre-Installation Checklist NOTE!! It is essential to review the Doc-Trak Installation Overview document included with the Doc-Trak installation download files before installing or configuring Doc-Trak. Before you get started, go through the following checklist. A. Review the Installation Advisories included with the Doc-Trak download. B..NET Framework version 3.5 Service Pack 1 or higher must be installed on the Web Server. C. Before installing Doc-Trak 2014, make sure Infor CloudSuite has been completely and successfully installed. You should be able to access the Infor CloudSuite database from a client workstation and run reports. D. Obtain a license for the Doc-Trak Polling process. The license is requested from The Lake Companies, Inc. To request a license, fill out the License Request Form on our web site: http://www.lakeco.com/forms/dtp_licenserequest.asp. The SQL server name and polling database name will be needed when making this request. E. The operating system on all servers (Database, Web Server, and Terminal Server) must be Windows Server 2008 R2. The operating system on the client workstations must be Windows XP Professional SP2 (or higher), Windows Vista (Business or Ultimate), Windows 7 or Windows 8 (SL8.03.10 and higher). F. Be familiar with your Infor CloudSuite server configuration. The installation program examines your current Infor CloudSuite installation. G. What are the App, Form and Object database names for each database on which you are installing Doc-Trak? H. Do you have a Web Server? How many? What are the Web Server names? Doc-Trak s web server component will need to be installed on each Web Server. I. How many client workstations will have Doc-Trak installed on them (administrative install) or will you be using the Click Once deploy? Web Client? J. Will you have any Web Clients? What browser will they be using? Web clients will also need Java installed and enabled in the browser selected. Make sure to go through the browser setup steps in Section 7 of this manual. K. What is the password for user ID sa (SQL system administrator) on each of your database servers? L. What is the domain administrator user ID (or user with equivalent permissions) and password? A local administrator account cannot be used. If you use an account with permissions equivalent to the domain administrator, you will need to verify that the user has sufficient permissions to access shares on the file systems where you plan on placing the archive documents and to the Infor CloudSuite report\outputfiles area. M. As with all software installations and upgrades, make a backup of your databases before getting started. Page 2 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

3. Doc-Trak Parameters Open Infor CloudSuite. From the Master Explorer, open the Doc-Trak Folder, Doc-Trak Parameters Form. Setup the Doc-Trak Parameters. The Doc-Trak Parameters form defines various parameters for the different features of Doc-Trak. On the following pages, each section of the parameters is explained. Page 46 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

Below, each section of the Doc-Trak Parameters is displayed in a screen shot with an explanation for each parameter or field. Retain Log Days Enter the number of days to retain the entries in the following tables: LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION_EST LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION_JOB LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION_OV LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION_PO LC_DT_PDF_TRANSACTION_RMA LC_DT_PDF_TRX_JOB_GROUP Archive Without Attachments With this box enabled (checked), Doc-Trak will archive the Infor CloudSuite report PDF file created through Doc-Trak Form Output. Doc-Trak attachments will not be archived. If Terms and Conditions were defined on the Doc-Trak Output Setup screen, the Terms and Conditions will be included with the Infor CloudSuite report. Display Job Notes on Shop Floor With this parameter enabled, Job, Job Operation, and Job Material Infor CloudSuite Notes will be visible on the Shop-Trak shop floor via the Documents button. Note: In order for this feature to be available, you must have Shop- Trak. Run Virtual Rules From Allows a System Administrator to determine where the virtual rules will be processed. Prior to setting this parameter, consideration needs to be made on the types of clients that exist in your environment. Review the available options for this parameter in order to determine which setting works best for your environment. Once you ve determined that best fits your environment, follow the setup steps for that option. The next several pages cover the meaning of each option and the setup steps required for each option. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 47

The available options in the drop down for the Doc-Trak Parameter Run Virtual Rules From are SQL, Client, or Web Service. With this parameter set to: SQL the SQL Server does the processing for the virtual rule and utilizes the permissions of the MSSQLServer service. This option also needs xp_command shell enabled. Setting this parameter to SQL will work for WinStudio Smart Clients (Click Once Client), and Web Clients. It will not work for a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. To go to the setup steps needed in order to Run Virtual Rules from SQL, See Option 1 Below Client uses the User s current Windows permissions to search for the Virtual Rule files. Setting this parameter to Client will work for WinStudio Smart Clients (Click Once Client), and in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. It will not work for Web Clients. To go to the setup steps needed in order to Run Virtual Rules from Client, Skip ahead to Option 2 on page 59 Web Service uses permissions from the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager for the DTFileSystemWebService application and the Anonymous Authentication user. Setting this parameter to Web Service will work for WinStudio Smart Clients (Click Once Clients), Web Clients and in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. To go to the setup steps needed in order to Run Virtual Rules from Web Service, Skip ahead to Option 3 on page 59 1. SETUP STEPS WHEN RUN VIRTUAL RULES FROM IS SET TO SQL: Set to SQL works for WinStudio Smart Clients, and Web Clients. It does not work in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. MSSQLServer Service must be running as a Domain Administrator account. It cannot be running as a local service or network service. We recommend this user is also the same user that runs the Doc-Trak Polling process. xp_cmdshell needs to be enabled on the SQL Server. When xp_cmdshell is enabled, the sysadmin group is the default group allowed. Users can be added by giving them grant access to execute xp_cmdshell. But the default only allows sysadmin group which means a user would have to know a administrator type login, in order to have access to xp_cmdshell (which allows DOS command privileges). The security risk for allowing the xp_cmdshell to function can be minimized by creating a Windows domain account with limited access (effectively read only permision) to the directories that are going to be used in the Doc-Trak virtual rules. Once the domain account has been created and added to SQL as a user, access to the xp_cmdshell must be granted to that user AND the user needs to be setup as the proxy account used to execute xp_cmdshell. Access also needs to be denied to xp_cmdshell for the sysadming group (or additonal SQL users that have been given that right). That way, if anyone ever does have the opportunity to execute SQL commands Page 48 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

containing xp_cmdshell statements (privileged or not), the code would be run as that non-privileged user and access would be limited to only the areas on the network that the non-privileged user has access too. More information on how to set this up can be found in the following KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/890775. To verify if xp_cmdshell is enabled, go to the SQL Server and do the following steps: For MS SQL Server 2005 Start Menu ->All Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ->Configuration Tools -> SLQ Server Surface Area Configuration ->Select Surface Area Configuration for Features->Database Engine locate xp_cmdshell. The next Doc-Trak Parameter after Run Virtual Rules From is: Allow Dynamic Search on Virtuals with this parameter enabled (checked) it allows a pushpin to be displayed on the Doc-Trak icon when a virtual attachment exists. If this parameter is disabled (not checked), virtual attachments do not display the pushpin on the Doc-Trak Icon. Note: this only pertains to Virtual rule attachments. When a Record attachment exists, the pushpin will be displayed no matter if this parameter is enabled or disabled. Note: If a company has a large amount of Virtual Attachments, having this parameter enabled could affect system performance due to Doc-Trak dynamically searching all the Virtual Rules to determine if the pushpin needs to be displayed on the Doc-Trak icon. System Administrators should decide the importance of the visual indicator (pushpin) indicating a virtual attachment exists. Allow Dynamic Search on Indirects with this parameter enabled (checked) it allows a pushpin to be displayed on the Doc-Trak Attachment icon when an indirect attachment exists. If this parameter is disabled (not checked), indirect attachments do not display the pushpin on the Doc- Trak Icon. The two parameters, Allow Dynamic Search on Virtuals and Allow Dynamic Search on Indirects, work in conjunction with the Doc-Trak Attachment On/Off indicator icon seen on any form where Doc-Trak attachments can be made. The Doc-Trak Attachment On/Off indicatior icon is discussed on the following page. Page 70 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

The Doc-Trak Attachment On/Off Indicator Icon allows a user to turn on/off the Doc-Trak attachment icon indicator (pushpin) for Indirect and Virtual attachments by session. The green check mark means the Doc-Trak Attachment Icon Indicator (pushpin)will be displayed on the Doc-Trak attachment icon for Indirect and Virtual attachments while a user navigates through the Infor CloudSuite records. The Doc-Trak Parameters Allow Dynamic Search Virtual and/or Indirect determines if the On/Off indicator on the Doc-Trak enabled forms will default as a green check mark or a red X. If one or both of the parameters is Enabled, the forms where Doc-Trak attachments can be made will display the. If one or both of these parameters is disabled, the Doc-Trak enabled forms will default with a. If the form defaults with the (as in the example above on the items form), the user can toggle the to a. As the user moves from record to record in the Infor CloudSuite form (such as Item to Item), Doc-Trak will ignore updating the attachment icon with a pushpin for Indirect and Virtual attachments. This can improve system performance when a user navigates through Infor CloudSuite records. Direct record attachments will always display the icon indicator (pushpin) if an attachment exists for the record the user is focused on. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 71

Allow Dynamic Searches Shop-Trak Shop floor with this parameter enabled (checked), Doc- Trak will dynamically search for attachments as you select jobs in the Visual Dispatch. If Doc-Trak attachments exist for the job selected, the Documents button on the visual dispatch will be available (highlighted). If Doc-Trak attachments do not exist for the job selected, the documents button on the Visual Dispatch will be gray (unavailable/not highlighted). With this parameter disabled, the documents button on the Visual Dispatch will always be available (highlighted) whether or not attachments exist and the search for Doc-Trak attachments will occur when the Documents button is selected. This parameter gives Systems Administrators flexibility on when Doc-Trak searches for attachments. The dynamic search could affect system performance for companies who have a large number of released jobs with attachments. Page 72 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output 6. Overview of Running Two Doc-Trak Polling Processes. Doc-Trak allows for two Doc-Trak polling processes to be run at the same time. One Polling process can be set as the Processing polling which handles bundling of documents and Infor CloudSuite reports and outputting (email, fax, print, archive, attach). A second Polling process can be set as the Converting polling which handles the converting of document attachments to PDF. By allowing two polling processes to run at the same time, report processing, document converting, bundling and output processing can be handled more efficiently. Reports that do not require converting won t be held up by those that do. For Example: When a user submits an Infor CloudSuite report through Doc-Trak Form Output, the Infor CloudSuite report is processed by Taskman and any document attachments to be bundled with the report will be sent to the Doc-Trak Convert Polling and converted to PDF simultaneously while the report is processing in Taskman. Once the report is finished in Taskman and the attachments have been converted, the report and attachments are sent to the Doc-Trak Process Polling for bundling. Once the bundling of the report and attachments is complete, Doc-Trak performs the output method(s) defined (archive, email, fax, print, attach). For user requests with attachments that do not require converting, the Infor CloudSuite Report will be processed by Taskman and then both the report and attachments will move directly to the Doc-Trak Process Polling. These requests will skip the Convert polling preventing them from being held up by those requests that require converting. This request will move on to bundling and completes the output method(s) defined. Likewise, user requests submitted through Doc-Trak Form Output without document attachments, will process through Taskman and go directly to the Doc-Trak Process Polling and complete the output method(s) defined. Note: This is an optional feature to improve the efficiency of how reports and attachments are processed. By default, one Doc-Trak Polling can be used to handle the converting and processing in a single process. Note: No change with licensing the Doc-Trak Polling, only one Doc-Trak Polling license is needed when running either one or two Doc-Trak Polling processes. 11. Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite The Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite needs to be installed on all WinStudio Smart Client, and Web Client workstations that will use the Doc-Trak scanning feature. The Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite will install the DTScanningio.exe and DTScanning.exe.config files. These files handle scan and scan preview commands that need to run outside of Infor CloudSuite in order to locate scanners on the network. The Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite is installed after the main Doc-Trak installation has been done. (Doc-Trak install for the Database, Web Server and Client, Doc-Trak Polling, the PDF- XChange). From the Web server, go to the Windows Start Menu, click on All Programs, Infor, Doc-Trak, Doc- Trak Scanning Prerequisite. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 113

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output Note: If the following Application Install Security Warning appears, click Install in order to install the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite. This may occur the first time opening this form. After the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite finishes processing a Registration Complete message will be displayed. Page 114 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

Copy the URL listed on the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite Properties. Run this URL on all WinStudio Smart Client, and Web Client workstations that need to use the Doc-Trak Scanning feature. After the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite finishes processing on a client workstation, a Registration Complete message will be displayed. Note: If a user tries to click on the Doc-Trak Scanning Icon from an Infor CloudSuite form and the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite has not been installed on the client workstation, an error message will be displayed stating Your workstation is not configured for Doc-Trak Scanning. See your Administrator. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 115

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output 12. Report Options Task Names (LCDTPDF<Reportname>) Why does Doc-Trak install/create an LCDTPDF<report name> Taskname record for each user and report that can run through Doc-Trak? Why can t Doc-Trak create a default entry for ALL users? Can these Report Options be deleted? There are requirements to have Doc-Trak work with any of the reports that use Doc-Trak Forms Output Profile. One of the requirements is that the report generated from Infor Taskman must create a PDF file. This is a requirement because the processing to print, email, fax, archive and attach back happens in Doc-Trak Polling and this process requires a PDF file. Since Doc-Trak is an add-on product we cannot assume or change any of the default settings. We also cannot assume which users will be working with these reports. Thus, after interpreting the GetTaskOptionsSp we needed the most generic solution when installing Doc-Trak to get our required output for these reports. GetTaskOptionsSp is the stored procedure ran when deciding which Report Option is relevant when printing a report. In this stored procedure the hierarchy in which reports options are selected is: 1. UserName = Requesting User, ReportTaskName = Task Name 2. UserName = Requesting User, ReportTaskName = <BLANK> 3. UserName = <BLANK>, ReportTaskName = Task Name 4. UserName = <BLANK>, ReportTaskName = <BLANK> To create a default Report Option for all users; [UserName = <BLANK> and Report Task Name = TaskName] could cause Doc-Trak Polling to error if the user creates a Report Option for [UserName = RequestingUser and Report TaskName = <BLANK>] and doesn t select Acrobat Format. In other words, if a PDF file isn t created and Doc-Trak Polling receives this request Doc- Trak Polling will not be able to execute the request and will generate an entry into the Doc-Trak Polling Error Log. One option that you have if you have Infor SyteLine 8.02.10 and higher is to create a Row Authorization against the ReportOptions IDO. Row Authorizations will allow the administrator to control which Infor CloudSuite users have permission to see which records in a table / IDO. We have named the Task Names of these reports to all start with LCDTPDF. Below is an example of a Row Authorization. Page 116 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

14. Multiple SQL Server instances for multiple databases may require servers to be linked for Doc-Trak Polling: When running multiple SQL Server instances for multiple databases on the same server and Doc- Trak Polling is needed for both instances, the servers will need to be linked. This can be done using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server: Create a linked server using the following command; This example creates a linked server named SEATTLESales by using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server: Use master GO EXEC sp_addlinkedserver SEATTLESales, N SQL Server Then open the Doc-Trak Parameters Form in Infor CloudSuite and add in ONE of the instances in the Server Name field as ServerName\InstanceName. The Database name will be DocTrakPolling. By doing these steps, each Application Database will be linked to share the Doc-Trak Polling database. Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output 15. Post Installation Checklist After all the components of Doc-Trak have been installed, perform these quick checks to make sure everything is in place. A. On the Web Server where the Doc-Trak Polling runs, go into the Windows Start Menu, Settings, Printers and Faxes and verify the PDF-XChange 4.0 Printer exists. Rightclick on the printer and go to the security tab and make sure the administrator has full permissions. B. Open Infor CloudSuite and go into the Master Explorer. Verify the Doc-Trak Folder and subfolders exist. If they don t, re-run the Doc-Trak Installation. C. Add TLC_ Infor SyteLineDocTrak module to a User account for accessing Doc-Trak forms. Open a new Infor CloudSuite session logged in as this user and try opening some of the Doc-Trak forms. D. Open a few forms that should have Doc-Trak attachment capabilities. Such as Customers form, Customer Order form, Vendor form, Purchase Order form, Job order form, and verify the Doc-Trak icon is present on the tool bar of the forms. See Troubleshooting tip, Item D below. At the Web Server where Doc-Trak Polling will run, go to the Windows Start Menu > All Programs > The Lake Companies and verify Doc-Trak Polling is in the Program list. If it is not in the list, re-run the Doc-Trak Polling installation. Note: if the Doc-Trak ClickOnce client was updated to the new folder structure the Doc-Trak Polling will be found under All Programs > Infor > Doc-Trak Polling > Doc-Trak Polling. E. Test the Doc-Trak Polling Process by starting it. To do this, at the Web Server where Doc-Trak Polling will run, go to the Window Start Menu > All Programs > The Lake Companies > Doc-Trak Polling. On the Doc-Trak Polling form, click Setup, Start Polling. Verify the words Currently Polling appears on the Doc-Trak Polling Form in red letters at the center of the form. Check that the last polling date has updated by clicking on Setup again, click set parameters and verify the Last Polling Date field has updated with the current date and a recent time. If the Currently Polling message disappears quickly when attempting to start the polling, the Doc-Trak Polling license may not have been entered. Refer to the Doc-Trak Polling License Request & Entry section of this manual. F. Adobe Acrobat version 10.0 or greater is recommended on the Web Server. G. Doc-Trak uses the associated software for document attachments to open, print and bundle. The associated software needs to be installed on the Web Server. H. The Doc-Trak Installation installs report options for the Infor CloudSuite reports that can be processed through Doc-Trak Form Output. The Doc-Trak report option task names begin with LCDTPD<reportname>. These task names exist for every user and will be automatically added in Report Options when users are added. The output method for these task names are Acrobat Format and need to remain that way. Below is a screen shot of Report Options and the Doc-Trak task names. Page 120 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output 16. Troubleshooting Tips A. Symptom Virtual Rules are not working. I cannot see my virtual rule attachments when I click on the Doc-Trak Icon. Review the setup instructions in the Doc-Trak Parameters section of this manual for the parameter called Run Virtual Rules From. Make sure you are using a UNC path on the rule rather than a drive mapping. Not all users have the same drive mappings which can prevent a user from having the ability to view a document from a virtual rule Verify the path to the virtual rule document has the proper permissions for all users. Try to copy and paste the virtual rule path into the Run command and verify Windows Explorer opens to the location of the file. Make sure to use a UNC path. Example: Virtual Rule - \\servername\doc-trak \Item Docs\<item>.* Copy the Highlighted area into the run command and verify Windows Explorer opens to the location of the file. If the rule is still not displaying the document, update the rule and replace the variable name (in this example <item>) with the actual filename (fa-10000.doc). Copy and paste the entire path and filename into the run command. The file should open. Example: Virtual Rule - \\servername\doc-trak\item Docs\<item>.* Replace the rule with the actual filename and copy and paste the path and filename into the run command. Update the Virtual Rule - \\servername\doc-trak\item Docs\fa-10000.doc The file should open in its associated software application. Page 122 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

B. Symptom I am receiving a Visual Studio error unhandled exception error in PDFSaver4.exe, access violation. On the Web Server where the PDF-XChange Printer is installed, go to Control Panel, printer, right click on the PDF-XChange Printer, click on Security Tab and verify the administrator of the PDF-XChange Printer has full permissions. C. Symptom Doc-Trak Polling does not stay running. If the Doc-Trak Polling Database is running on a SQL Server 2005 Express, there is a database setting called Auto Close in the Database Properties. Make sure Auto Close is set to False. The Doc-Trak Polling form disappears (closes) after starting the polling, and the polling never starts. Make sure you requested and entered your Doc-Trak Polling license. Refer to the Doc-Trak Polling License Request & Entry Section of this manual for requesting and entering the license. If Doc-Trak Polling is running in the foreground from a remote desktop session and the remote desktop session is logged off or disconnected the Doc-Trak Polling will go down when the session is logged out or disconnected. Also, if Doc-Trak Polling is running in the foreground from a remote desktop session there are system settings that can end a remote desktop session after a certain amount of idle time and this will take the Doc-Trak Polling down as well. We recommend running Doc- Trak Polling in the background using Scheduled Task/Task Scheduler. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 123

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output D. Symptom The Doc-Trak Icon is not appearing on the Infor CloudSuite forms If the Doc-Trak Icon is not appearing on the Infor CloudSuite forms so attachments can be made, the form may need to be refreshed using the Form Refresh Utility. This utility is located under the Infor CloudSuite Master Explorer > ALL Forms > Doc-Trak > Utilities. You must be logged into Infor CloudSuite as SA in order to run this utility. 1. Form DB = Your Forms database name 2. Product = Doc-Trak 3. Form Name = Leave blank to refresh all forms. 4. Click Refresh 5. Click Commit 1 2 3 4 5 Page 124 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

Once Refresh is selected the Grid below the fields is populated with the forms that will be refreshed. After Commit is selected, a Completed message will display when the Refresh Utility is finished processing. E. Symptom When clicking on the Doc-Trak scanning Icon from an Infor CloudSuite form, a message appears saying Your Workstation is not configured for Doc-Trak Scanning. See your Administrator. This message indicates the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite has not been installed on the Client workstation. The Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite must be installed on the Client workstation in order for the client to scan Documents using the Doc-Trak scanning feature. See page 42 of this manual on how to install the Doc-Trak Scanning Prerequisite on a client workstation. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 125

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output F. Symptom Running multiple SQL Server instances for multiple databases on the same server and need Doc-Trak Polling working for all databases. Only 1 instance of the Doc-Trak polling can be running on one server. In order to accommodate multiple SQL Server instances for multiple databases on one server is by linking them. Use the command below to link the Servers/SQL instances: o Create a linked server using OLE DB for SQL Server The example below creates a linked server named SEATTLESales that uses the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SLQ Server: USE master GO EXEC sp_addlinkedserver SEATTLESales, N SQL Server o Then open the Doc-Trak Parameters Form in Infor CloudSuite and add in ONE of the instances in the Server Name field as ServerName\InstanceName. The Database name will be DocTrakPolling. G. Symptom Doc-Trak bundling or archiving does not appear to be functioning no files are being deposited into the archive directory, emails do not have attachments, etc This can be caused by multiple setup or installation issues. One of the most common is that the user executing the Doc-Trak Polling program does not have sufficient permissions to access the directory to either place the pdf file in the archive area or access the Infor CloudSuite report\outputfiles area. The user executing the application must be a domain administrator account (or user with equivalent permissions). This will give unrestricted access to the shares and file systems on the domain. To verify there is permission, log onto the server running the Doc-Trak polling application as the user that runs it. Navigate to an archive directory by opening Windows Explorer and enter in the UNC path (not the drive:\directory combination) that has been entered into the Doc-Trak document profiles archive fields. Test by creating and removing files and/or directories. You should not receive permission or access denied errors. If you do, then adjust share permission and security permissions on those directories that have problems to grant access. If permissions seem to be setup properly, verify the report is completing in the Infor Background Task History. The LCDTPDF<reportname> task and the LC_DTPDF_Submit tasks must finish in the Background Task History before Doc-Trak Polling begins processing the requests. If the above tasks have completed successfully in the Infor Background Task History the next step is to check the Doc-Trak Polling and make sure the polling is processing. The last Page 126 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

polling date and time should be current on the Doc-Trak Polling parameters and there should be a DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32 process running on the Web server when viewing the Windows Task Manager. If Doc-Trak Polling has been setup to run a Processing Polling and a Converting Polling there will be two DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32 processes running. If the Doc-Trak Polling form is open there would be another DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32 process running. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 127

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output If Doc-Trak Polling seems to be running check the Doc-Trak Polling Error Log and resolve any errors that may be occurring. If there aren t any errors in the Doc-Trak Polling Error Log, check the Doc-Trak Polling Requests utility. See the following page. Page 128 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

The Doc-Trak Polling Requests is a utility to aid administrators in monitoring and clearing out the Doc-Trak Polling queue. This utility indicates to an Administrator where the request is in the point of processing by highlighting the request in blue. Doc-Trak Polling will log any errors in the error log. The Administrator can review the error log to determine why requests have failed. This utility will assist administrators in determining if setup or background tasks have failed and allow them to reset the task for processing through Doc-Trak Polling. Administrators will also have the ability to delete requests from within the Doc-Trak Polling Requests utility which will automatically clean up all the necessary tables in the Doc-Trak Polling Database. See section 9.7 of the Doc-Trak Product Manual for detailed information about this utility. To request the Doc-Trak Product Manual send your request to Orders@lakeco.com. Include your Doc-Trak Version in your email request so the correct version of the manual can be sent. Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions Page 129

Section 6 Doc-Trak Form Output H. Symptom Job Never Started Printing error displays in the Doc-Trak Polling error queue. Verify the LCDTPDF<report name> task name exists in the Report Options form for the Report being processed through Doc-Trak Form Output. The LCDTPDF<report name> task names are created in Report Option when Doc-Trak is installed and as users are added to Infor CloudSuite. Verify the LCDTPDF<report name> task name in the Report Options form has an output method of Acrobat format. These task names should never be deleted from Report Options and the Output Method should remain as Acrobat Format. Check the Doc-Trak Polling process in Task Manager on the Utility/Web Server. Verify there is only one DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32*32 process running. Note: if you have the Doc-Trak Polling Form open, there will be a DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32*32 process for the opened form. Make sure this form is closed when checking for this process. Also verify there aren t any PDFSaver4.exe processes hung in Task Manager. PDFSaver4.exe processes come and go as reports process. They should never remain running in Task Manager. If a hard copy of the report is being printed to a printer, verify the printer is functioning properly. Verify it is online. Verify it isn t paused. Verify the printer has paper. Verify Doc-Trak Polling can see the printer by opening the Doc-Trak Polling form, click on Main, and then click on View Printers. If the printer has a logging option enabled this can cause a delay in getting the report to the printer and they can cause the Job Never Started Printing error. Check the Printer name and share name. They should be the same. You can do this by right clicking on the printer and go to properties then click on the sharing tab and review the share name. Page 130 Doc-Trak 2014 Installation and Upgrade Instructions

I. Symptom PDF Conversion to PDF Failure error displays in the Doc-Trak Error Queue. Verify there is only one DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32*32 process running in Task Manager on the Utility/Web Server where Doc-Trak Polling is running. Note: if you have the Doc-Trak Polling Form open, there will be a DOCTRAKPOLLING.EXE*32*32 process for the opened form. Make sure this form is closed when checking for this process. Verify there aren t any PDFSaver4.exe processes hung in Task Manager. PDFSaver4.exe processes come and go as reports process. They should never remain running in Task Manager. Verify the associated software for any attachment types has been installed on the Utility/Web Server where Doc-Trak Polling is running. When Doc-Trak converts the file to PDF, the file is opened and printed by Doc-Trak using its associated software. Verify Adobe is also installed on the Utility/Web Server where Doc-Trak Polling is running. Doc-Trak does not support bundling of drawing files. The application that is used to open the files has to be able to able to support our bundling application. To our knowledge there are no applications that support our bundling application for drawing files. This is not an issue with our bundling process; it is an issue with the drawing applications that open the files, such as AutoCad, Volo View, Solid Works, FasView, etc and generates the error message PDF Conversion to PDF Failure. To test if your viewer will convert your drawing file to PDF: Open the Printers folder on the Utility/Web Server. Open a folder containing a drawing file. Drag and drop the drawing file over the PDF-XChange Printer. If your viewer allows a Save As window to display when a drawing file is dragged onto the PDF- XChange printer, your drawing files will likely bundle properly with Doc-Trak. If a PRINT window is displayed when a drawing file is dragged onto the PDF-XChange printer, your drawing files will NOT bundle with Doc-Trak. Recommendations: The Lake Companies suggests saving a copy of the Drawing files as a PDF to use for bundling. There is purchasable software to do a mass conversion of these files to PDF format. J. Symptom Error 2052 Inputted PDF File Doesn t Exist. The Doc-Trak Installation installs report options for the Infor CloudSuite reports that can be processed through Doc-Trak Form Output. The Doc-Trak report option task names begin with LCDTPD<reportname>. These task names exist for every user and will be automatically added in Report Options when users are added.
