2. Product Introduction UB603 is a GSM / GPRS wireless module that supports four channel networks such as GSM850/EGSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900. It also supports GPRS multi-slot class10 level. It integrates RF and baseband onto one single PCB. The modules finish the completed RF receiver/transmit, baseband processing and audio signal processing. Users just need to add very little external components to design the final wireless terminals. UB603 itself is only 40mm X 33mm X 3mm, with a single-sided PCB design. It connects to the product board through a 60-pin connector. Major function interface includes: power interface, serial communication interface, analog audio interface, SPI serial interface, LCD, 5X5 matrix keyboard interface, the standard SIM card interface, RF interface. Meanwhile UB603 has embedded TCP / IP protocol, supporst the AT command extensions. 2.1 List of Major feature Table: List of major features No Parameters Arguments 1 Power Supply DC: 3.3V-4.2V, typical: 4.0V 2 Frequency Bands GSM850/EGSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900 3 GPRS GPRS mobile station: class B GPRS multi-slot Class: class 10 4 Network Protocol PPP, TCP/IP, USSD 5 Voice HR/FR/EFR Echo Suppression 6 Short Message MO/MT/CB, Support TEXT/PDU SMS Over GPRS 7 CSD Data Up to 14.4kbps 8 Power Consumption Off mode: <100uA Sleep mode: 2mA (average) Talk mode (GSM900, PCL=5): 300mA Data mode (GSM900, PCL=5, class 10): 400mA Peak: 2.0A 9 Temperature Normal operation: -20C to +55C 3 / 26
