Product Brief Intel IP Network Server NSI2U The Intel IP Network Server, an alternative to custom chassis for network security applications, raises the performance bar for IP network security products by supporting Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel EM64T), ECC DDR2 800 MHz memory, and faster CPU to improve the performance of network server applications. The NSI2U brings a proven 8 Gb by-pass NIC-in-front solution to network security applications. The 2U, 20-in. rugged chassis (available with hot swap redundant AC power only) includes a hard disk drive (HDD) behind a customizable front bezel (i.e., painted, labeled, etc.). The NSI2U is suited for a host of applications in the network security and industrial environment. It can also support manufacturing, industrial, utility, and even military applications where a rugged, highly reliable server is required. The NSI2U server shown with the optional 8 Gb by-pass NIC in-front ports. Configuration This 2U chassis comes with all required chassis boards and cabling.
