What's New in This Release? 1 What's New in This Release? 1. High performance intel X86 CPU (quad-core processor) for more stable testing 2. Supports 16GB or 32GB RAM. 3. Overview 2 Overview 2.1 Brief Introduction Pilot Scout 3.0 is newly designed from the ground up to meet the demanding test and measurement requirements of the latest 4G LTE network features. This version of Pilot Scout comes with an impressive list of new features, with high-performance CPU and built-in high-sensitivity GPS chipset among them. It is an autonomous mobile network test equipment with a compact design and highly stable operating system. This makes it suitable for small or discreet installation spaces, while being remotely managed by Pilot Fleet Unify system for automated testing and backend data processing Pilot Scout 3.0 is Dingli s most portable and cost-efficient remote test equipment, suitable for large-scale deployment. The main features are as below: Portable test and measurement solution supporting services testing under all major network technologies, including voice, MOS, HTTP, FTP, Video Play and SpeedTest etc. Built-in two test modules and one independent Modem module for real-time data transmission Connected to Pilot Watcher tablet for onsite real-time test status monitoring Embedded system that is able to integrate with baseband chip supporting various network technologies and internal Linux system, ensuring device stability and reliability Supported technologies: CDMA IS95/1X/EVDO, TD-SCDMA/HSDPA, GSM/EDGE/GPRS, UMTS/HSDPA/ HSUPA/HSPA+, and LTE/LTE-A(2CC/3CC) Distributed coverage of test probes, positioned within unique and strategic locations in the operator's network Probes administration, and measurement data transfer is managed through a central server System management, administration, reports generation and control performed through a web browser. 2.2 System Architecture Pilot Scout 3.0 can mutually communicate with the Pilot Fleet Unify central server over TCP/IP. The upstream communication handles uploading of test results, collected data, and alarms from Pilot Scout to the central server, while the downstream communication handles distribution of commands and test tasks from the central server to Pilot Scout. See Figure 2.1. 4

Performance & Feature 3 Performance & Feature 3.1 Test Services Pilot Scout supports the following services test: 2G/3G/4G MO/MT MOS Test (POLQA/PESQ, CS/VoLTE/CSFB) FTP Download FTP Upload HTTP Page/Download Video Play (e.g. Youtube) PING Speed Test 3.2 Features Pilot Scout 3.0's main features are as below: Pocket-sized for indoor test and drive test Intel X86 CPU (quad-core processor), ensuring high performance with low power consumption Supports GSM, GPRS/EDGE, CDMA, EVDO, TD-SCDMA, UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+, and LTE/LTE-A technologies. Supports service test with two test modules (which support built-in 4x2 MIMO antenna), with real-time data upload to Pilot Fleet Unify server simultaneously. Supports CSFB/VoLTE MO/MT test. Supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WIFI) (optional). Connected to Pilot Watcher tablet for real-time test status monitoring Built-in 8 Generation U-Blox multi-mode GPS module In-vehicle OLED screen that may display real-time test progress and status 3.3 Application Scenarios The application scenarios of Pilot Scout 3.0 are as below: Remote and autonomous indoor test: Pilot Scout, which is remotely controlled, can be deployed in densely populated public places, such as Shopping Mall, office building, metro station, airport, etc. Pilot Scout can be used to conduct long-term indoor tests, collecting high volume data reflecting true network quality and performance. Cell Site Monitoring: Pilot Scout 3.0 can be deployed by co-locating with the cell site or near it, to monitor the cell site performance. If any error is detected, Pilot Scout may send out alarm information. Dual-channel autonomous test: Pilot Scout 3.0 can be installed in public transportation such as taxis, buses, or trains, and can be used to conduct long-term tests and data collection 6

Performance & Feature based on defined test plans. Test data collected by Pilot Scout may be uploaded to Pilot Fleet Unify server for real-time analysis and test status monitoring. Monitoring Major Events: During major events, Pilot Scout 3.0 can be deployed in corresponding areas to monitor network performance in real-time, and identify and troubleshoot the possible network problems. Unique test positioning: Pilot Scout 3.0 can be used in areas not reachable with traditional drive test tool or with a vehicle, due to its unique form factor. Detecting and troubleshooting network problems from the daily test: In some cases, a shortterm test is not enough to detect specific network problems. Please be very careful with this kind of mistakes..release note document is normally made available for customers who have purchased the product, but Datasheet may be used by sales for pre-sales purposes. So this will have a very negative first impression on the product Make sure the details are consistent with what is used in Release note. Release note indicated 2cc/3cc, here its just 3cc? Secondly release note says 16k and 18k samples rate, here 16k and 48k? which is the correct one? This services testing falls under main features, but the amount of services that can be tested seems less than before. Is this correct? Is this correct? A radio chip? can you double check please What about 2CC, should we mention that?
