NAFA s Remote Auction Services Live Auction Broadcast and Mobile Lot Board Revised 05/26/2016
NAFA is pleased to announce that our remote auction services are now available directly from www.nafa.ca. In addition to our traditional LIVE AUCTION broadcast, we have added a new feature this year called MOBILE LOT BOARD, which will allow you to follow NAFA s auction on your mobile device (iphone, ipad, Android). Both of these services are available in English and Chinese. Please note: to access these services, you are no longer required to log in to your account. Simply visit www.nafa.ca, and follow the instructions in this document. 1. How to Access NAFA s Live Auction via Desktop Computer: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Visit www.nafa.ca. Click on AUCTION. until you reach AUCTION SCHEDULE. Click Details under the auction currently in session. Scroll down to AUCTION ESSENTIALS. Click on LIVE AUCTION. The live auction broadcast, which consists of an image of the lot board with the voice of the auctioneer, will begin momentarily.
2. How to use your iphone/ipad/samsung/android Mobile Device to Follow NAFA s Live Auction Introducing NAFA s NEW Mobile Lot Board. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Open your browser (Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer) on your mobile device (iphone, ipad, Samsung, or Android) and visit www.nafa.ca. until you reach Auction Schedule. Click the Details link under the relevant auction in session. Scroll down the Details page, and select Mobile Lot Board. When the Mobile Lot Board appears, click Connect. The data will begin to populate. Now that you ve accessed our Mobile Lot Board, why not save it to your home screen for quick access? Turn the page to learn how. Select Auction.
3. a) How to Save NAFA s Mobile Lot Board to the Home Screen of your iphone or ipad Safari Browser How to create a shortcut to the NAFA Mobile Lot Board using the Safari browser on your iphone. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 From your iphone open Safari and go to www.nafa.ca & choose Auction. Scroll down the page to Auction Schedule and click on the Details link, underneath the auction you wish to view. to click on the Mobile Lot Board button. Scroll to the bottom of your Safari page & click on the save as option. Select Add to Home Screen. Name your shortcut and click add. Now you have successfully created your shortcut using Safari browser on your iphone home screen.
3. b) How to Save NAFA s Mobile Lot Board to the Home Screen of your Samsung (Android) Firefox Browser How to create a shortcut to the NAFA Mobile Lot Board using the Firefox browser on an Android smartphone. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 From your Samsung device open Firefox app and go to www.nafa.ca & select Auction. Scroll down the page to Auction Schedule and click on the Details link, underneath the auction you wish to view. to click on the Mobile Lot Board button. Press the menu button (either below the screen on some devices, or at the top-right corner of the browser), then tap on page. Tap Add to Home Screen. Your shortcut should now appear on your home screen.
3. c) How to Save NAFA s Mobile Lot Board to the Home Screen of your Samsung (Android) Chrome Browser How to create a shortcut to the NAFA Mobile Lot Board using the Chrome browser on an Android smartphone. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 From your Samsung device open Google Chrome and go to www.nafa.ca & select Auction. Scroll down the page to Auction Schedule and click on the Details link, underneath the auction you wish to view. to click on the Mobile Lot Board button, and the lot board will open.. Select the Settings button- the three vertical dots, located in the top right corner (see arrow). Press the star ( * ) symbol From here you can edit the shortcut name and select which bookmarks folder you want to save it into. After saving, go back to the browser settings menu to open the Bookmarks folder. From here, locate your newly created bookmark and press and hold your finger on the bookmark you wish to place on your home screen.
