International User Interface The Vovici 6 application can be viewed in 11 different languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Thai, Chinese and Japanese), allowing global survey authors and administrators to leverage the usability and features provided by Vovici. When creating new users, you can set the default languages in which they view the UI, or they can set their own language preference under the My Account tab. NOTE: No additional languages have been added to Vovici 5.5. Use the Language dropdown to set a default language for the new user. Change the application display language using the Display application in this language menu. Set Language in the Add User Dialog Set Language under My Account Tab Example of the Vovici Interface in Thai Page 3 of 15

Redesigned Translation Module This release includes a redesigned translation module that makes gathering feedback from your global customer base easier than ever before. Users can easily create a single version of the survey in a language other than English or upload one or more translations via an Excel file. Additionally, Vovici supplies language support for validation messages, labels and end pages in the 11 languages available in the UI, and users can upload their own XML language packs to support these survey features in the library. Finally, users can better control the survey versions their customers see by mapping specific languages and regions to translated versions of the survey. The new translation module is accessed via the Translation side tab when designing the survey. NOTE: Vovici recommends making any edits to surveys with translations in the Step-by-Step view, as the Free Form view will delete any translations you have made for the survey choice or question you are editing. Additionally, editing translations in Vovici 5.5 will delete any saved out-of-date translations or language mapping you have set up in Vovici 6. Click on an individual language to edit the translations for that language. Click the Add Language button to add additional languages for the survey. Adding a Translation Language mapping can be added to manually direct users from a specific region to a specific translation of the survey. Translation Mapping Page 4 of 15

Completion indicators provide information on progress of translations. Easily edit translations by clicking on the relevant text. Vovici 6 Translation Interface Upload your own XML language pack to provide validation messages, labels and end pages in the languages of your choice. Custom Validation/Text Masking Import a Language Pack to the Library For Fill in the Blank questions, users can specify custom text masks in order to better validate survey responses. Survey authors can specify combinations of letters, numbers and symbols to ensure that survey responses match the required format of the question. Custom validations can be accessed by clicking on the Options button next to a specific response. NOTE: This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5; editing a survey in Vovici 5.5 that uses this feature will delete the validation. A text mask can be specified by using 9 for a number, X for a letter or? for any character. You can also use specific characters if they are a required part of the format, e.g. (999) 999-9999 for US Phone Numbers. Customize Validation Page 5 of 15

Enhanced Mobile Survey Taking Increase the response rate for your surveys by allowing survey respondents to give feedback via different channels with the enhanced mobile survey taking capabilities in Vovici. Survey authors can now enable optimized versions of the survey for mobile phones with a single click, allowing users who access their email via smartphone to see dynamically generated mobile version of the survey using a default mobile theme. Authors can also create custom mobile themes that further leverage their brand. NOTE: This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5. Enable enhanced mobile survey taking via the Generate Mobile HTML check box in the Properties side tab within the Survey Designer. Enable Optimized Mobile-Survey Taking Create and Edit custom mobile themes using the Mobile CSS and Mobile HTML tabs in the survey theme editor within the Library. Create Custom Mobile Themes The survey is rendered automatically for the appropriate device. Complex question types such as matrix questions are automatically separated into individual questions when viewing on a smartphone. Comparison of Desktop and Smartphone Survey Rendering Page 6 of 15

Net Score Reporting Enhance your suite of customer loyalty metrics with the ability to report on the net score value for a specific question. The net score is calculated by taking the percentage of respondents that fall in the Top range and subtracting the percentage of respondents that fall into the Bottom range. While the net score has many uses, it is ideal for using as a measure for scale-based customer loyalty questions. The net score is available as part of the Top-Box report element and users can customize the top and bottom ranges used to calculate the Net Score. NOTE: This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5. Set the Top and Bottom ranges for the Net Score calculation under the Data drawer. Tick the Net Score checkbox in the Displayed Values drawer to display it as part of the Top-Box report element. Displaying the Net Score Web-Accessible, 508 Compliant Matrix Questions Increase the accessibility and reach of your surveys with the new Section 508 compliant, Web-accessible matrix questions that are compliant with the latest accessibility standards. Select the appropriate check box to ensure Web accessibility for your survey. Vovici 6 Web Accessibility Page 7 of 15

Permanently Delete Survey Data In order to support the data security needs of our customers, users are now able to permanently delete surveys from the recycle bin. Survey Administrators have the option of enabling this feature for their workgroups via the Administration > General Setup tab. Users can also add this permission as a custom role. Once a survey is permanently deleted from the recycle bin, users will not be able to retrieve their data. Note: This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5. If the feature is enabled for the workgroup, the Delete Permanently button is made available when a survey is selected. Delete a Survey from the Recycle Bin Users with the ability to permanently delete surveys are required to type DELETE in order to confirm the deletion of the survey. Confirm Deletion Process Page 8 of 15

Enhanced Folder Management Users can more easily manage their surveys and folders using the new folder management feature on Vovici. Accessing shared surveys, viewing other users folders and moving surveys is now easier than ever before. Move a survey to any other folder using the new tree view menu by clicking the Move button. Move Surveys Easily Administrators easily access other users folders by selecting the user from the tree. Page 9 of 15

Report Preview Users accessing an existing report or one of the stock reports are taken to a new report preview mode that makes it much easier to view and consume results. Reports are edited easily by clicking on the Edit button to customize the report. Toggle between Edit and Preview modes using the buttons at the top of the report. Click the Edit Report button to make changes to the report. New Report Preview Page 10 of 15

Chart Labeling Vovici 6.1 provides significant enhancements to the display of chart labels to ensure reports display all the information necessary. Users can now set the maximum length of chart labels to any number of characters and labels are auto-wrapped to ensure they fit correctly within the displayed chart. Chart labels are automatically wrapped to ensure best fit for the chart. Users also have full control over the maximum number of characters, angle of label etc. Clicking on the Advanced Options flip-over allows users to fully customize the text for the chart. Improved Chart Labeling Cross-tab Analysis and Significance Testing The Cross-tab Analysis report enables users to compare respondents answers to multiple questions, transforming the data into actionable analysis. Users can select multiple banner points to compare against questions, leverage Vovici s filters to drill down and unlock insight, apply significance testing at 90%, 95% or 99% confidence intervals to identify outliers and critical data points and export the report to Excel. NOTE: This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5; attempts to open this report in Vovici 5.5 will generate an application error. The Single-Question Banner report enables users to compare questions to a single banner point. Users have a choice to apply significance testing at 90%, 95% or 99% confidence intervals. Select the new Cross-tab Analysis report to analyze multiple banner points and test significance. Access the New Cross-tab Analysis Report Significance Options Page 11 of 15

Features Incompatible with Vovici 5.5 The following features in Vovici 6.1 are not compatible with Vovici 5.5. Feature International User Interface Redesigned Translation Module Redesigned Translation Module Incompatibility Details No new languages have been added to the current language set available in Vovici 5.5 Editing translations in Vovici 5.5 will delete any language mapping you have set up in Vovici 6. If a user has translations in Vovici 6 that are marked as out of date and then edits translations in Vovici 5.5, the out of date tracking will disappear. Custom Validation/Text Masking Enhanced Mobile Survey Taking This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5; editing a survey in Vovici 5.5 that uses this feature will delete the validation. This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5 Net Score Reporting This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5. Cross-tab Analysis and Significance Testing Reporting This feature is not available in Vovici 5.5; attempts to open this report in Vovici 5.5 will generate an application error. Due to the new formatting options in Vovici 6, some features may not always work with Vovici 5.5. Although features still work, it is recommended that reports created in Vovici 6 are only edited in Vovici 6 to ensure a smooth user experience. Page 13 of 15

Resolved Issues The following issues are resolved in this release. Area of Application Manage Surveys Manage Surveys Manage Surveys Panel Management Survey Design Write Invitations Schedule Events Manage Reports Manage Reports Manage Reports Manage Reports Review Workflow Web Services Schedule Events Review Workflow Manage Reports Description When copying an email list survey, the ability to copy participants was not available. This issue has been resolved. When trying to move a survey, it was not possible to move the survey to a sub-folder of another folder. When copying a survey from another user's sub-folder, the survey would not appear in the My Surveys folder. The "Joined Date" for each panelist was being incorrectly updated every time a user logged into the community portal. This issue has been resolved and the original join dates restored. If a survey contained a code block, the 'Apply Changes to your survey status' would display even if no changes had been made to the survey. The "Test Invitation" feature did not send images that were within the invitation; this issue has been resolved. If the schedule mode was changed, the calendar displayed an incorrect view. This issue has been resolved. When a date filter was applied to a trend chart, the data would be filtered, but the chart would still show the full date range with "o" values for periods outside the date filter. The "Displayed Values" drawer for stack charts was empty and users could not display data labels on the chart; this issue has been resolved. Report authors were unable to delete reports. This issue has been fixed. When sharing reports with multiple users, multiple copies of the shared report were being displayed. In some cases, users received an error if the.que file they imported contained bad formatting. This issue has been resolved When displaying a choose one as a dropdown, extra line breaks were added. This issue has been resolved. If a user had permission to make a change to an open survey, after making the change the button would indicate he/she required additional approval. This issue has been addressed. Users with Oracle DBs received a WebService error when using a panel survey and GetParticipantData; this issue has been resolved. In some cases, the app would time out when users were scheduling when to send their initial invitation; this issue has been resolved. If a user tried to send a survey for review and didn't enter any comments, it would hang up the Web page. This is no longer an issue as users must enter a message before they can send their surveys for review. It was possible for a user to include the same response in both the top and bottom groups of a topbox report. This issue has been resolved. Page 14 of 15

Known Issues The following are known issues in the application. This list does not reference the compatibility issues between Vovici 6.1 and 5.5 listed above. Area of Application Manage Reports Translation Module Translation Module Translation Module My surveys Manage Reports Survey Operation Translation Module Manage Responses Description Advanced chart properties are not available for users in the French or German UI when using IE9. Users should view the properties in another browser or language to see these components. When a user is in the Free form editor and adds a library question, it is placed on the bottom of the page; use the step-by-step designer to place the question in its proper place. When a user is in the Free Form editor and adds a library question, the "hierarchical" and "Profile" tabs are missing; use the step-by-step to insert these types of questions. If the text for a FITB or Essay question is edited, the "mark as out of date" message will not appear for those elements; they will, however, appear in light gray text as all of the untranslated text will. After a user deletes a choice in Chrome or Safari, the automatic text Vovici displays in the right-hand pane disappears. Users can add text or delete the choice. Edits to a translated survey made in the free-form word processor will not appear as mark as translated. Vovici recommends that once a survey is translated, any edits to that survey be made in the step-by-step view; translations for a survey element (e.g., question, choice) will be deleted if that element is edited in the original survey using step-by-step. The translation language drop-down in the translation module is not updated with languages that are imported; these languages are still available on the translation pane. When editing a translation in Firefox, the words are highlighted as misspelled. Right click to disable the check spelling feature when editing in a different language If a user in IE selects a survey and times out of the session, a login prompt pops up but defaults to incorrect information. Simply delete the pop up and log in. Toggling too quickly between the "Preview" and "Edit" buttons can cause the application to appear to hang; click Preview and wait for it to load to get back to a view of your report. Thai dates are not recorded correctly using the calendar date picker. Entering a double-space into a question can cause the "Apply Changes" prompt to appear. If users pipe a profile question into a survey and then translate that survey, it will appear as though the user can edit the translation on the translation screen. Even though it appears the question has changed, the question remains locked and will appear in the survey absent of the user s changes. To translate a profile question, use the translation feature within the profile itself. If a user pastes code blocks in IE, the line breaks are stripped out. If a user right clicks and pastes as plain text, the feature works as expected. A user who only has permission to edit responses or reports can use the Manage Responses filter to see a user's responses if they already know some searchable information about a user. Page 15 of 15
