System Overview The basic Waiting Room Network (WRN) consists of a CPU mounted to the back of a flat screen monitor (either 26- or 32-inch LCD). The flat screen monitor is anchored to the wall at a height of 6 to 7 feet. Variations to this configuration will be indicated on the site survey form. Sites installed prior to 2008 will have various hardware but the software configuration will be same. Connectivity will be provided in one of two ways 1) CAT 5 cable to site provided internet jack 2) Analog phone line provided by site. All wires are covered by surface mounted raceway, commonly referred to as Panduit. A Stealth box (phone line splitter) will be installed if sharing existing analog line. A network switch will be installed if sharing internet port. Additionally, a brochure rack will be installed if noted on site survey. You have been furnished a site survey (attached to your dispatch email) that outlines the installation configuration for the site. You must review the site survey prior to your appointment. It is mandatory that you understand the equipment installation location(s) prior to beginning the installation process or servicing PPT equipment. Contact your PCM Help Desk if you have any questions. If the primary office contact wishes to deviate from the site survey instructions you MUST receive approval from PatientPoint BEFORE PROCEEDING. Due to the nature of these offices, it is imperative that you represent yourself and PatientPoint in a professional manner. For any questions or issues, please contact PCM Help Desk: 1-877-233-9114 PCM Help Desk 1-877-233-9114 Page 3
