Using the Scan Test to troubleshoot the ES3640/CX3641 Print Engine. Enter Service Mode by holding down the menu up / menu down and help buttons at the same time while powering up the machine. (This may take up to 60 seconds.) Initialization Please wait The System Maintenance Menu will appear. Next, press and release the menu down button until Diagnostic Mode is highlighted. Then press the Enter button Diagnostic Mode v.00.03.00 S-MODE From Diagnostic Mode. Press and release the menu down button until Scan is displayed. Then press the Enter button. Scan From this menu, pressing the Down Arrow Key will scroll through the following table of tests. Simply select Enter to execute and Cancel to terminate the selected test.
