A Data Center Heat Removal System That Saves... Infrastructure Power Water up to 40% up to 80% up to 85% Discover Inertech s Award-winning Data Center Heat Removal System A Cool Solution; A Breakthrough Approach Instead of blowing cold air into the server room, Inertech s innovative system absorbs heat. This breakthrough technology means you get unprecedented flexibility, reliability, and cost savings at any load, in any climate. Unprecedented System Performance The CDU and esyncs can be connected to existing chilled water systems, but when used together with the CACTUS unit, system performance is unprecedented. Climate Agnostic In any climate the system provides ultra-low power and water usage and limits the power spikes on design days. Three Locations Climate Chart Location Design Day mpue Annual mpue New Jersey 1.15 1.045 0.41 Denver, CO 1.075 1.035 0.58 Dallas, TX 1.16 1.077 0.52 Annual WUE Results In: Much lower OPEX and greatly reduced upfront capital expense on electrical infrastructure.

Smarter Technology = Outstanding Efficiency. Inertech took an innovative approach at solving the data center cooling problem by addressing the three main areas where power is consumed. Technology Absorption - Utilizing the buoyancy of hot air and efficient coil technology, heat gets absorbed. Results Fan power reduction to 1% of IT load vs. 10% for a typical CRAH unit. This provides great benefit to both the transporting and rejection of heat. Transport - Heat is transported to the CACTUS unit where it is rejected to the atmosphere. The CDU is able to reduce the water flow requirements by 50%. Less water means less piping and pumping. A 75% reduction in piping costs. Rejection - Where standard chiller plants require significant operational over site to move from free to mechanical cooling modes, the CACTUS seamlessly transitions as the atmosphere requires. Even on the hottest day of the year the system offers a peak mpue of 1.15 (up to 40% less than any other cooling system). This means year round free or partial-free cooling. 1% IT Load Fan Power Reduction 1.15 Peak mpue 75% Reduction In Piping Costs 2

Power Down The system is designed and manufactured with variable frequency drives on all motors allowing for a flat load curve from 10% to 100%. At partial or full-load the system operates at the following power percentages compared to IT load at each temperature profile. IT Load Comparison Chart Temp DB MCWB esync CDU Pumping CACTUS Total 105 o F 77 o F 1.0% 0.2% 1.0% 13.8% 16.0% 0.8 72 o F 62.5 o F 1.0% 0.2% 1.0% 5.8% 8.0% 0.2 45 o F 39.4 o F 1.0% 0.2% 1.0% 0.3% 2.5% 0.0 Water (GPH per kw) Streamlined Reliability Inertech s scalable design eliminates most of the valves, switching, compressors, and chiller management that is inherent in a typical system. A Study by mtechnologies an MIT risk assessment firm found the Inertech system to have a reliability of 99.9999%. 1 The Inertech system is the most reliable cooling system MTechnologies has analyzed in the last 15 years. - Steve Fairfax President & Founder, MTechnologies 1. A reliability study was conducted by MTechnologies, a leading risk assessment firm out of MIT that evaluates system reliability using an analytic framework originally developed to assess the reliability of nuclear power plants. The study found the Inertech system to have a standard-setting level of 99.9999% reliability. Adding that our results did not identify significant weaknesses, single points of failure, or other areas where changes might have produced even better results. 3

Inertech esync Overhead Heat Absorption About esync The esync absorption unit is designed for use with Inertech s eopti-trax Cooling Distribution Unit. Removing heat at the source, esync technology draws hot air up from the rack and channels it through a pair of fully redundant coils. The esync design accommodates both new data centers and can retrofit facilities, improving the efficiency of existing infrastructure. Cool efficiency The esync fan control responds immediately to match the server fans, which helps reduce excessive fan power and removes air flow management. The adaptable efficient cooling solution also eliminates the need for supplementary air conditioning units in data centers with high densities. Versatile and accommodating System eliminates need for raised floor with units that can be hung from the ceiling structure above the server cabinets, floor-supported from hot aisle containment, or mounted directly on server cabinets. They also match your IT load and are easily reconfigurable to match density requirements. Product Features 2N rack cooling 1% power overhead to IT load No filter required Integrated LED lighting power supply and control Scalable solution- provision and install additional units for more capacity Adaptable to all environments from 1 to 25 kw per rack Integrated LEDs for hot aisle task lighting Compliance Manufactured to comply with UL 1995 and CSA 22 standards CE Certified Compliant with ASHRAE A1 data center standards Optional Accessories Pre-Fabricated 2N refrigerant piping assemblies with quick connections for easy installation 4

Inertech eopti-trax Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) About eopti-trax Product Features The eopti-trax Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) provides the heat transport function of Inertech s heat removal system. Chilled water is supplied to the eopti-trax CDU and transports heat that has been removed from the data hall by the esync absorption loop. The innovative eopti-trax modular design efficiently accommodates any data center cooling need, from large enterprise facilities to smaller retrofits. Quick and incremental deployment - The eopti- TRAX CDU scales with your IT needs in 350 kw blocks. The flanged connections allow the equipment to be bolted onto rear, underfloor or overhead piping systems. Small footprint - Compared to a traditional CRAH unit, which occupies 105 sq. ft. of floor space, the eopti-trax provides the same heat rejection/ cooling capacity in 23 sq. ft. of floor space. 2N rack cooling Uses 0.5 kw to cool 350 kw Requires only 50% of water flow compared to CRAH units Built in HMI Control Screen for full monitoring of connected esyncs 80% savings in white space compared to standard offerings Optional Accessories Pre-fabricated TIER III pipe cages for easy installation Compliance Manufactured to comply with UL 1995 and CSA 22 standards Compliant with ASHRAE A1 data center standards CE Certified 6

Inertech CACTUS Heat Rejection System About CACTUS Product Features The CACTUS is an air-cooled adiabatic rejection system comprised of two major components: a Fluid Cooler with an indirect evaporative cooling mode, and a compressor trim unit. Inertech s distinctive design combines both condenser heat rejection and water side economization functions into the same product. Dual Power Inputs Free and partial free cooling year round Up to 80% savings on energy and 40% reduction in electrical infrastructure Uses up to 85% less water when compared to traditional systems Unit can run dry at full load in case of water failure Climate agnostic The unit is designed to seamlessly run in full free cooling year round with minimal operational oversight. When outdoor entering air is below 55 F the system runs dry in full free cooling mode. Between 55 F to 75 F the unit free cools using evaporative cooling. Above 75 F the unit automatically trims the atmosphere with compressor assist, adapting to the outdoor temperature, providing year round savings of power and water for your facility. Simple set-up CACTUS easily connects to existing facilities or deploys new in 500kW blocks. Compliance Manufactured in accordance with UL 1995 and CSA 22 standards Compliant with ASHRAE A1 data center standards Optional Features Pre-fabricated TIER III pipe cages for easy installation NEMA 1 or NEMA 4 Enclosure Integrated ATS 8
