IP interconnection challenge With the evolving VoIP networks, the demand for interconnection among IP networks is increasing. Italtel s response is NetMatch, a whole product line designed to enable interconnection between different network domains providing different functionalities and capabilities in terms of signalling and media handling. NetMatch-B is the Italtel Border Gateway providing high density transcoding services for IP-based interconnections among different networks. NetMatch-B is Italtel H.248 controlled Border Gateway for the media handling. It is specifically design to be adopted for SBC implementation with the distributed deployment model where control plane and user plane handling are perfomed by different equipment.
