The applicable number of licenses and units of capacity for which the license is granted will be one (1), unless a different number of licenses or units of capacity is specified in the Documentation or other materials available to End User. "Designated Processor" means a single stand-alone computing device. "Server" means a Designated Processor that hosts a software application to be accessed by multiple users. "Software" means the computer programs in object code, originally licensed by Avaya and ultimately utilized by End User, whether as stand-alone Products or pre-installed on Hardware. "Hardware" means the standard hardware Products, originally sold by Avaya and ultimately utilized by End User. License type(s) Named User License (NU). Customer may: (i) install and use the Software on a single Designated Processor or Server per authorized Named User (defined below); or (ii) install and use the Software on a Server so long as only authorized Named Users access and use the Software. "Named User," means a user or device that has been expressly authorized by Avaya to access and use the Software. Deployment Considerations Control Sharing Capability (in Equinox Conferencing) This feature is only supported with Equinox Conference 9.1 SP3 (or later release). Avaya Spaces Integration into Equinox As part of the 3.4 release, integration is being provided into Avaya Spaces for direct messaging and team collaboration. Any Equinox user can take advantage of free messaging and collaboration services in Avaya Spaces. Within the Equinox Meetings panel on the Top of Mind home-screen, users can access a button to sign up for a Spaces account and to sign in to this account. For more information please see the Spaces User Manual at http://resources.zang.io/aspx/zang_spaces. If you do not want the Spaces sign in/sign up button to be visible to end users, you can disable it with the following autoconfiguration setting: SET ENABLE_AVAYA_CLOUD_ACCOUNTS 0 If you have already used the auto-configuration parameter to hide the Equinox Meetings panel in top-of-mind, the Spaces Sign-in/Sign-up option will not be shown as part of this panel. Chrome Extension not installed by default To comply with Google requirements, the Avaya Equinox for Windows installer will no longer install the Chrome browser extensions for click-to-call. Please refer to PSN005188u, which is provided for administrators to enable the chrome extension. Release Notes 7

What's New The following table lists the enhancements and deprecated functionality in Avaya Equinox Client 3.4.x and is cumulative since the last minor release showing the most recent release first and oldest release last. Release 3.4.5 (SP2) Addressing a critical customer reported issue. Release 3.4.4 (FP1) Support for starting an instant messaging conversation by using the messaging address. Support for Forward Error Correction (FEC) to handle cases of errors and lost packets in a media stream, an additional stream is sent that includes redundant data. This additional stream can restore lost packets and correct errors in the original media stream and is referred to as an FEC stream. Support for controlling the sharing capability in Avaya Equinox Conferencing. The feature allows the tenant administrator to configure the content sharing capabilities in the user policy in the Equinox Management. Support for the Hunt Group Busy feature Support for Team Button feature Support for the enhanced IM Provider feature Release 3.4.1 (SP1) Addressing critical customer reported issues. Release 3.4 Avaya Spaces Integration Enable Avaya Spaces integration for Aura users including: Initialization Flows, Identity and Authorization, User Management, Sign-in/Sign-up, Native Direct Messaging, Spaces Dashboard Launch and Top-of-Mind Integration (click to join Spaces Meeting). IP Office Integration The Avaya Equinox client for IP Office provides access to Unified Communication (UC) and Over The Top (OTT) services such as Avaya Equinox Meetings Online. With the Avaya Equinox client, you can use the following: Make point-to-point audio and video calls Listen to your voice mail messages Join and host conference calls with Avaya Equinox Meetings Online. Use point-to-point and conference call control functionality. You can also add participants to a conference. Release Notes 8

Answer calls and send all calls to voice mail. View your call history that is stored locally on the device. Access your IP Office contacts by using the IP Office directory and local contacts. Send instant messages. Capture photo, audio, and video files, and send generic file attachments in an IM conversation. Manage your presence status and presence status message by using the Presence feature. Log in to your extension and answer, join, and transfer calls across multiple devices if Simultaneous mode is configured. Simultaneous mode can be used with supported SIP deskphones and an H.323 deskphone. Avaya Equinox Meeting Online Integration Discovers and add the Avaya Equinox Meetings Online service onto the Avaya Equinox client. Discover Cloud Account Auto-discovery of the Avaya Cloud account using automatic configuration. Office 365 support for Exchange Web Services Use Exchange Web Services (EWS) to access your Exchange-based calendar on the Top of Mind and Meetings screens. Avaya Equinox supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP1 and later versions including Exchange 2016 and Office 365. SIP over TLS with SRTP Decouple SIPS URI from SRTP (Federal Government requirements for all platforms). HTTP Proxy Support If HTTP proxy support is enabled, the Avaya Equinox client prompts you for your proxy credentials only if you did not configure the proxy credentials in the OS. Join a meeting by using a short URL without the tenant information. In the previous releases, you needed the tenant information in the URL to join a meeting. For example, https://meetings.avaya.com/portal/tenants/9022/?id=90319870153431. In this release, you can use a short URL without the tenant information to join a meeting. For example, https://meetings.avaya.com/portal/?id=90319870153431. New features specific to the Windows platform: Support for Equinox Attendant redirect to voice mail. Release Notes 9

Changes to the automatic configuration process on upgrade. During an upgrade, the Avaya Equinox client retrieves the latest configuration from the settings file. Click-to-call for Avaya Multimedia Messaging conversations with the LDAP directory. Quick search contact resolution through an LDAP provider. Consolidated Avaya Equinox 9 Add-in for Microsoft Outlook as the add-in now also includes support for Spaces. Release Notes 10
