Access Points: and KNOWN ISSUES/LIMITATIONS Issues/Limitations Rebooting the unit without rectifying errors causing commit failure may result in inconsistent AP configurations. Following QoS parameters use default values even after reconfiguration to different values. 1) STA CWmin 2) STA CWmax 3) STA AIFSN 4) STA TXOP TFTP download operation works intermittently in HTTPS session. Clicking on other links while performing TFTP/HTTP upload/download operations will cause loss of file transfer progress information. Pressing back button in the commit status window does not work. Reboot and commit functionality does not work with Mozilla/Safari web browser. TFTP download status is not indicated while performing download operation from CLI. The bootloader versions incorrectly show 0 for Major, Minor and Release version numbers in the Management -> System Information" page. Affected products Workaround Correct configuration errors reported after applying commit. Recommit the rectified configuration before rebooting the unit. Please use HTTP/CLI or SNMP interfaces to configure TFTP parameters. Please check TFTP operation information in Eventlog messages before rebooting the unit. Please press back button twice. Please use Internet Explorer. Please execute "show management tftp" and check the operation status parameter for the tftp operation status. Please check the correct bootloader version during the bootup of the device at the serial interface. 5 2008 Proxim Wireless Corporation www.proxim.com
Access Points: and Issues/Limitations Affected products Workaround WEP key or passphrase cannot be configured with special characters using Web/CLI. Only SNMP read-write password is user configurable and the same will be used for read and trap passwords. Transmit/Rx dropped frames are not being updated in Bridge Statistics. Pressing reload button for less than 10 seconds causes device to reboot instead of reset-to-defaults. Radius Authentications Statistics are not displayed in Monitor page for Radius MAC authentications. Multiple RADIUS profiles cannot be created. User guide incorrectly states references to DNS client, DHCP server, DHCP Relay Agent, DHCP Relay Servers and Link Integrity functionality. Proxim recommends using AES based security mechanism for best security of the network. WEP is not secure and supported to ensure backward compatibility with legacy clients. Please use SNMP or PVES to configure the special characters for WEP key or passphrase, if needed. Please press reload button for 10 seconds or more to reset-todefaults. Please configure different types of RADIUS servers in the same RADIUS profile to use with all VAPs. WHERE CAN I GET ADDITIONAL INFORMATION?
