The Release Notes provide an update of the latest new features and enhancements for RingCentral products. Also contained are Known Issues currently identified by RingCentral as of September 13, 2018. RingCentral may update these Release Notes to document additional resolved and known issues. The new RingCentral App. Access your favourite RingCentral Office features on your desktop or mobile devices using one consolidated app. Call with enterprise-grade reliability, quality of service, and unified busy status when on a call or in a meeting. Message and collaborate with file sharing, task management, shared calendars, and more. Meet with a single click to launch the RingCentral Meetings integration. RingCentral Office Enhancements. Enables businesses to communicate and collaborate via voice, team messaging and collaboration, audio and video conferencing, and fax from any location and on any device. Audit Trail New report provides administrators with a centralised place to access, review and search phone system change logs and user changes. 1 Online Account User Experience Ongoing user experience improvements include improved tabs and page layouts for Call Queues settings, Rule Validation support, and Paging-Only devices. Hot desk no timeout setting Additional admin setting will allow users to stay logged in indefinitely, until physically logged out. 2 Extension to Extension Video Calling for Polycom Devices On demand feature enables video for Polycom VVX 601/600 and 501/500 that support detachable cameras for video calling. 3 Kerberos support on Windows: Kerberos network authentication protocol is now supported for SSO on Windows. RingCentral Phone App (Desktop Enhancements) High availability desktop app: Ongoing optimisation includes additional backups and redundancies that maximise call and message completion, logout warning messages for VoIP-only users, and improved login error handling Delete call log records Reinstating the feature to delete individual call log records in the RingCentral Phone desktop app RingCentral Phone App (Mobile Enhancements) High availability mobile apps: Ongoing optimisation includes additional backups and redundancies that maximise call completion.

Integration Updates RingCentral Embeddable a widget that allows you to extend with third-party add-ons, such as load custom contacts, create conference call invites, and log calls in third-party apps. RingCentral for Zendesk incoming calls will automatically open the matching client record and create new Zendesk case; click-todial numbers within Zendesk; a more intuitive user experience for making and receiving RingCentral calls. RingCentral Archiver for Box 4 users will be able to easily archive essential content directly to Box through RingCentral Archiver 1 Audit Trail is available on all editions, and is viewable by super admin and billing admins only. 2 Hot desking is available on Premium and Ultimate Editions. 3 Extension to Extension Video Calling is available on Premium and Ultimate Editions only to the UK brand. 4 Message Retention APIs are available on Premium and Ultimate Editions

Resolved Issues You are not able to export an IVR menu when there are extensions with 6 digits. When you are on an active call from the PSTN to a digital line with inbound or outbound Automatic Call Recording enabled, an attempt to place the call on hold from the digital line fails. When you have disabled the mobile notification timeout in the Call Handling and Forwarding section of your online account, the softphone does not properly use the hard phone timeout. If you define a custom answering rule with a time interval that spans over midnight, that rule incorrectly remains effective for two days, rather than a single day. When you download a file in your online account to edit your Active Directory extension numbers, all the fields are grayed out and you cannot edit the required fields. You cannot update the hold music in your online account when you configure an After Hours schedule. When you have configured incorrect call forwarding rules, a meaningful error message is not displayed. All desktop phones have a Message Waiting Indicator feature: if you have unread voicemail a light indicator turns on. But on softphones that functionality is not supported. The Message Waiting Indicator is not turned on by default during a device replacement from a softphone to a hard phone. Message Waiting Indicator states are incorrect after forwarding a VM message from one phone to another. The music on hold is unexpectedly interrupted and restarts playing when the caller dials digits.

Known Issues Japanese characters may not be displayed properly on certain Cisco and Polycom phone models Japanese characters and length may not be displayed properly when using the intercom and page function from a desk phone.
