You will see the following menu appear. You will have two options. Launch NexCenter and View Policy Activity. Accessing Stored Policy Files Using the View Policy Options Attachments will not be stored in the activity tab within WinTam when using the NexCenter Integrator for your transactions. Processing Transactions with NexCenter and your BMS Double click on the wanted attachment and the Details screen will open showing the attachment. Name Dialogue Window When performing New Business and Policy change transactions you may see a Name Dialogue Window, depending on your BMS. To ensure that the names are processed correctly, verify the name and address fields of each listing on the policy. To make changes to the COMPANY and COMPANY NAME fields: If the company field is checked and the client is not a company then uncheck the company field box. The company name will then be placed in the first and last name fields. If the client is a company, then check the company field box and make necessary changes to the company name. To make changes to the NAME field: Ensure that the first and last names are entered in their correct fields. If the first and last names are listed in the wrong fields, click on the Switch button to have them placed in the correct fields. If they are spelled incorrectly, click on the field and make the necessary changes. Multiple owners will often show together in the Primary field. Correct the name of the Primary and then add the other owner in the Co-Insured field. 22

Processing Transactions with NexCenter and your BMS To make changes to the CITY and PROVINCE fields: Ensure that only the City is listed in the City field. To change province if needed, click on the Province field and select it from the dropdown field. Once you have finished verifying information in the fields, click OK to continue. NexCenter will now contact the carrier site to begin transferring the data. 23

Processing the Policy Assisted vs. Unassisted You may notice the presence or absence of NexCenter pop-up windows during the transfer of information from the BMS to the carrier site. Some carriers may utilize the NexCenter pop-up windows to guide or assist users through the verification of information before it is passed to the carrier site. For other carriers, NexCenter may place all of the available information from the BMS to the carrier site first and then ask users to confirm the policy information. For example, AXA transactions are assisted by NexCenter. NexCenter will work through each of the policy tabs on the carrier s site for you, prompting you to enter and confirm information only when necessary. NexCenter will display important messages in the message banner. Remember to press the green Play button to continue processing the policy. NexCenter will also prompt you to confirm or enter missing information in the pop-up windows. After entering the required information, click OK to continue processing the policy. 24

Processing the policy RSA transactions are unassisted by NexCenter. This means that NexCenter will work through each of the policy tabs on the carrier s site for you, but will not prompt you for missing or incomplete information. When NexCenter has transferred all of the information from your BMS to the RSA site, you will then be able to finalize the policy by filling in any missing fields not populated. From this stage, the web service is navigated just as it would be if NexCenter had not been utilized. However, the major difference now is that most of the fields will already be completed, saving time in data re-entry. Completing the Policy After you have completed reviewing the policy, press the Play button in the top left hand corner. NexCenter will log off the carrier site for you. It is important to allow NexCenter to guide you through the uploading process and to enter information directly on the website only when prompted. Clicking outside of the NexCenter window may cause communication errors between NexCenter and the carrier s website. If you do select links outside of the NexCenter window remember to go back to NexCenter to resume the processing of your transaction. 25

Logging Out of the Applications There are a few ways to close NexCenter: Right-click the NexCenter icon in the system tray and select Exit. To resume NexCenter you can launch from your BMS or from start/programs/brovada technologies/nexcenter Client/Login but you will not need to log back in with your NexCenter credentials (provided you have enabled remember me ). Right-click the NexCenter icon in the system tray and select Sign Out. To resume NexCenter you can launch from your BMS or from start/programs/brovada technologies/nexcenter Client/Login and you will have to reenter your NexCenter credentials. If a transaction was cancelled (by selecting the Stop button), you may need to manually log off of the carrier site and close the active carrier tab by clicking the x in the upper right corner of window. You will then return to the Launch Panel where you may begin another transaction. NOTE: It is important to remember that only one session per carrier may be active at a time. Normally, NexCenter will prompt you to press the Play button in the upper left hand corner to close your active session and prepare for another one. 26

Advanced Features Manage Credentials Manage Credentials will help you to manage your insurer passwords. When your insurer access passwords have changed, you may update these changes in NexCenter. To add, edit or remove your credentials, click on the Tools menu on the Launch Panel and select Manage Credentials. Click on the Add New, Edit, Remove or Copy Passwords to Clipboard, buttons to perform your changes. Clicking OK will save your changes. Your new insurer credentials are automatically added when you log into the insurer s site with a new user id and password. You will be prompted to enter your new insurer credentials by NexCenter during your next transaction with that insurer s website and these will be stored in NexCenter. File Storage Viewer NexCenter may automatically take screen shots of policy transactions and store them for future reference. Also, by using the camera button, you may take additional screen shots, if your system administrator has activated this feature. For Power Broker, CIM-Data, and Deltek users, these shots and attachments will be stored within the BMS and the policy they are associated with. For other BMS, if your brokerage has chosen to save these files you may view them by accessing File Storage Viewer from the Tools menu on the Launch Panel. 27

Advanced Features Accessing File Storage Viewer To launch File Storage Viewer, click the Tools menu option and select File Storage Viewer. A search screen will appear. Performing Searches You will need to perform a search to bring up a transaction or a list of transactions to view. Input criteria to search by (i.e. policy #, date range) and click Search. A list of saved transactions will appear. To open a file, double click it. The list may be narrowed by searching by Policy Details, Primary Insured, or Date Range. Re-Indexing Indexing allows a user to search on their previous transactions. By re-indexing the transaction history, all of the previous transactions would be indexed and searchable. To re-index your transactions, select File and then select Re-Index from the drop-down list. To re-index, select Yes. Archiving Archiving files will help to speed up searches, as it reduces the amount space taken up by older files. Archived files are not lost; they are compressed and placed in a backup folder. They will no longer be searchable. You may want to archive if you have months of files which you will no longer need to review. To archive your files, select File and then select Archive from the drop down list. Select a date, and once you click OK, all items preceding that date will be archived. 28

Recording Module Recording option- Empowering brokers for growth Brovada NexCenter s Recording Module allows brokers to record their own transactions against any carrier s web portal and then use these transactions by processing them through NexCenter to automate the data flow from their broker management system. The format helper allows the author to select the appropriate site value in the drop down to match up with the incoming value located in the left column of the NexCenter format helper. The author would match the site value in the right column with the incoming value in the left panel. If the format helper, is not shown, control/ shift on the line where you are recording. Mappings created in the left panel As the script is being built, you will notice that the left panel will display fields that have been mapped. The left panel refreshes every time the author maps a value from the data file to a particular field on the portal Multi-mappings for same node in the data file There are instances when the node can be mapped to more than one field on the portal i.e. postal code. Some sites have the postal code separated. When the author tries to complete more than one mapping for a node, NexCenter will display a popup confirming if the author wants to create a new mapping or replace the current mapping. In most cases, creating a new mapping will selected. 34

Record a Script Using NexCenter Undo mapping in the left panel To delete mappings in the left panel, maneuver mouse icon over the checkbox of the mapping that you want to delete and select the right click button on your mouse. Select the X from the menu that is displayed. The mapping is deleted Saving the script The author can navigate through the portal system mapping as many fields as possible per page. The author can save the script by selecting the Save icon located at the top left corner, and can add a remark to script if desired. Finish recording Selecting the X located in the top right of the screen will prompt the following message. The author can also create a new script by selecting Record from the Tools menu on the Launch Panel, if you select this route, you will have to complete all steps of the Script Setup Wizard. Selecting the magnifying glass icon from the Drop Down Module will skip the first 3 steps of the Script Setup Wizard. 35

Recording a Script via Tools/ Record You can also record a script directly from the NexCenter Launch Panel. This is applicable to Single Sign On And Inquiry scripts only. Select Tools then Record. This will bring you directly to the Script Set up Wizard.
