3rd Party Camera Integration Spec Explanation of Terminology: Model - Manufacturer s Model Number of camera or server tested. Firmware - Actual Firmware (number) on camera during testing. Video Formats - Video compression formats that can be received from the camera. Multicast - Does ViconNet allow working with Multicast if camera is set to Multicast? Note that the network switches must support Multicast for this functionality to work well. Multi-Format - Can the camera send simultaneous streams in different compression formats (for example, view in on one workstation and in on the other)? Quality / Resolution - Is the resolution level in the camera controlled through ViconNet macro (1-8 levels)? If not, the camera needs to be set to a certain resolution that will be provided to all users. JPEG ONLY. Multi-Resolution - Does the camera support sending simultaneous streams in different resolutions (for example, view in CIF on one workstation while viewing in 4CIF on the other)? FPS - Does the camera allow setting different FPS through ViconNet? If not, the camera needs to be set to a certain FPS that will be provided to all users. Picture Settings - Can the picture settings (color, brightness, contrast) be set from the ViconNet GUI? Camera Time Stamp Does the camera provide a time stamp in the video stream? If not, ViconNet will add the time when the frame is received. DNS - Does the camera support registration in DNS and setup by name? Authentication - Does the camera verify user and password when requested for video from ViconNet? PTZ - Is this a PTZ camera? Autopan - Is autopan supported (on PTZ models)?
