In this user guide you will find all required information to get your site up and running: starting from theme installation and setup, to usage of different post types, page templates and shortcodes. This file is really extensive so you might think the theme is hard to use, actually it s not, you probably just might jump to the options page and explore everything yourself, this file is more of a reference work if you do not know what to do, or if you are not familiar to WordPress. BEFORE GETTING STARTED Please note that this theme is not harder to use than any other premium theme with advanced functions. Moreover, we believe that it s even much easier! And there s a good reason for that: amount of time that we invested in designing its interfaces, page templates and theme options is simply immense Nevertheless, please note that this User Guide does NOT cover basic WordPress usage. Therefore if you are not a confident WordPress user, please get accustomed with it BEFORE proceeding to this manual and theme! First of all please google wordpress basics plethora of articles and educational videos are available! Install Delizioso Theme To install Delizioso Theme, go to WordPress Admin Panel -> Appearance -> Themes -> Install Themes -> Upload -> choose zip file with Delizioso Theme -> Install Now. After Theme installation, activate it and you will be redirected to Delizioso Theme Activation Page. See the screen. (If you are not redirected to this page, find the page in Appearance-> Theme Activation. If in Appearance you don t see that page, it means that you have already activated this theme.) By default (if you have a new WordPress site) put all to Yes and Save Changes. Create static front page? - Required to Yes Create a blog page? - Required to Yes Change permalink structure? - Required to Yes All done, now Orquidea Theme is installed. Manage Sliders
To create first slider go to Appearance -> Sliders. Here you can create a lot of sliders by clicking the Create New Slider button. These sliders you can use in you posts by adding shortcode. After this click Add a New Slide. You can upload an image, by clicking on CLICK TO ADD IMAGE or simply put images link without upload. When you upload you image, it should be appear in this block. When You upload your image, don t forget to click Insert into Post button on Image uploader window. If you need, you can add link, title or short description. If you need to add some html code you can put it in HTML form. To add next slide image, click Add a New Slide one more time. And repeat. After uploading images click Save Slider. Home page slider size: width: 1600px; height: 548px;

Typography You can manage typography on the site. Select size, color, font etc.
Home Here you can manage the modules from Home page.
Social On this option page put all your social accounts links, You can add links from: 1. Facebook 2. Twitter 3. Google+
Advanced Settings You can: 1. Put Google Analytics 2. Add some Footer Code if needed. 3. Add Custom CSS Styles
Sidebars 1. Select the sidebar on blog pages Manage Homepage The theme automatically created a page called Home, if you haven t this page, create in manually. Select the template Home.
Save. Go to Theme Options -> Section Home and insert data to all modules. Save. All done. Setting the Home page. After creating the Home page go to theme options, open the HOME Tab. Let s setting our Home page. 1. Setting the Opening Time Box In theme options go to Home tab, and add data to Opening hours fields.
2. Setting the icons box Here you need to add 3 icon images, 3 titles, 3 descriptions and 3 links. Look the screen below.
3. Setting About box and client Reviews box.
In theme options go to Home tab and find the About and review fields, in the end of the page. 4. Setting Home page bottom Here you have two boxes, Recent menu and Recent events. Manage Menu Manage menu is very simple. It s the default WordPress menu system. Go to Appearance -> Menus. Here you can create the menu and don t forgot to associate with Header Menu. Delizioso theme support two menu location. Header Location and Footer Location. You are able to create 2 menus, one for footer and one for header. Manage MENU ARCHIVE and SINGLE MENU
Add new, insert your title, descriptions and other data. Look screens below. And you will get

Manage About page You have a custom page template for About page. Create a simple page, than choose the template to Template About and insert page title. Now you can click on Publish button. After you will save, appear a box with options. In this box insert data. To upload images to slider, simply upload as attachments to this page by default WordPress Uploader.
Upload, and then close the window. Save the page. Team box
Manage Contact page Contact page have a custom template. Simply create a new page, named Contact, choose template Template Contact and save the page. After you will see a new textarea called Map Code. Here you will put html code of your Google maps or other. Insert the content in main textarea and save the page. Now you can add this page in your menu. Go Appearance -> Menus.
Manage Gallery To create a gallery simple go to Galeries -> Add New. Insert the Gallery title, insert text if you need and upload you images as attachments. Simply upload by default wordpress uploader. After save the post. The Gallery is ready. Go to Appearance -> Menus and put Gallery Archive in a menu.
Upload images as attachments to display on slider. After you will see Note: Upload images as attachment as in about page. The screen is in documentation (About page section.) Important: If you want to show thumbnails on site, you must select a Featured Image on posts, pages or other post types. You can check the option to hide this Featured Image from gallery, and it will be shown only as a post thumbnail. Manage Post Format You have 5 post formats. 1. Gallery 2. Standard 3. Video
If you want to show you attachment images in a slideshow on top of the post, choose Gallery. Else you can choose Standard, and it will be show the featured image on the top of the post.
