Annexure A Technical Queries 1) S. No. 1 in Annexure 1b-(i) Bill of Quantity has only 1 single heading for cameras whereas the floor plans mention 3 different types of cameras required i.e. IR Dome Outdoor camera, IR Bullet Camera & IR Dome Camera. So, how do we quote them and what are the technical specifications of Cameras? Answer : Please quote for Cameras having following 3 types of specifications. Please clarify which document needs to be followed the tender document & architects drawings OR the Annexure 1b-(i) Bill of Quantity. Since the tender document mentions that the architects drawings will be taken into consideration and this could lead as a conflicting requirement. In case Annexure 1b-(i) Bill of Quantity has to be followed, will the terms of the tender change and if yes, what will they be? Answer : Please quote for Servers & SAN only as mentioned in the BOQ. Since the drawing is undergoing minor changes pertaining to Camera position and number of Cameras, the same will be submitted to the shortlisted bidder at a later date. 3) Whether Microsoft Windows Server licence to be included in the quote or AISATS has a volume licence agreement with Microsoft? Also, whether Microsoft licensing of CALS for server clients to be optionally quoted or part of the quote? Answer : Microsoft Windows license is to be included in the quote. Licensing of CALS should be part of the quote. 4) What are the Data Security requirements viz. Antivirus / Endpoint security? Answer : Data security requirements will be taken care by AISATS. 5) What are your requirements for System Security / Access: Access Control / administrators / system policies / etc.? Answer : Our requirements are Administrators and System Policies which will be discussed after short listing the vendor. 6) Whether Servers shall be connected via Static IP (Public IP) or not? Answer : Static IP 7) What are the compliance requirements for the various audits viz. IT Audit, Network Audit, VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetrative Testing), Systems Audit, QA Audit, or any other compliance audits required by the company or government agencies for Servers. Answer : Should be complaint with IT Audits and Network Audits.
8) Are there any approved makes / brands? If yes, please inform. Answer : No specific approved makes/brands. AISATS will have the sole discretion to choose the best brand from the bids received after carrying out technical evaluation. Commercial Queries The bidders should include the cost of 3 rd party inspection charges of 0.9% of the estimated cost of the project in their bid, which needs to be paid to the inspection agency directly(inspection agency will be suggested by AISATS) by the bidder.
