Implementatin 1 Purpse The purpse f this dcument is t detail thse services BuildingPint NrthEast ( BPNE ) will prvide as part f the Prlg Rapid Implementatin Package. This package is intended t utline the services ranging frm implementatin t etraining fr Prlg. 2 Objective By cmpleting the tasks cvered by this Scpe f Wrk, Prlg will be cnfigured fr the client s use including the fllwing areas: Cmpany/Vendr Recrds List/Lkup Grups Security Glbal/Prtfli and Prject Specific Optins Lgs fr Reprts and Letter Templates Prject Setup Prject Cntrls Standard Views (Prtfli/Prject/Insight) Standard Ntificatins 3 Scpe 3.1 Deliverables 3.1.1 Prject Management A BPNE Prject Manager will be assigned t manage, in cnjunctin with the Client s Prject Manager, adherence t schedule and scpe. This cnsists f crdinatin f BPNE resurces, reslutin f escalated issues, management f deliverables and adherence t bth schedule and scpe. 3.1.2 Kick-ff Phase T kick-ff this phase, BPNE will cnduct a web meeting with the Client t discuss the methdlgy that will be fllwed during the engagement t ensure prper expectatins have been cmmunicated t the entire team. If desired, a BPNE cnsultant may prvide design recmmendatins. In additin, BPNE will use this meeting t intrduce the Prlg Cnfiguratin Wrkbk that will be used thrughut the prject. The wrkbk details the cnfigurable areas f Prlg and prvides the Client with a means f cmmunicating their desired cnfiguratin t BPNE. Implementatin 3.1.3 Pre-Design Phase BPNE will prvide Prlg Pre-Design etraining fr the Client s implementatin team. This training is designed t prvide the Client a basic understanding f Prlg necessary fr the Client t cmplete the remainder f the Design Phase tasks. Based n the features t be implemented the time t prvide adequate training will be divided int tw r three, (2) hur sessins delivered ver cnsecutive days. The tpics may include thse listed belw. Prlg Pre-Design etraining Prlg Basics Abut Prlg Prtflis Navigating Prlg Setting Up a Prject Prtfli Manager Advanced Cmpany Setup Security Manager List and Lkup Grups Prject and Prtfli Optins General Feature Overview Purchasing Cst Cntrl Dcument Cntrl Field Administratin Wrd Prcessing Prject Files Cash/Flw Frecasting Ad-Hc Wrkflw Standard Ntificatins Getting Help 3.1.4 Design Phase T kick-ff this phase, a BPNE Cnsultant and the Client will perfrm a thrugh review with f the Prlg Cnfiguratin Wrkbk ( wrkbk ) that will be used thrughut the prjects. The remainder f the Design Phase is led by the Client with assistance frm BPNE as necessary. The Client will use this phase t dcument their requirements, desires, etc. in the Prlg Cnfiguratin Wrkbk. Thse items that the Client shuld be prepared t address include, but are nt limited t, the fllwing: Cmpany/Vendr Recrds The wrkbk cntains a wrksheet with the necessary fields fr a prper, clean imprt f the Client s vendr list int the Cmpany Setup data grup. Implementatin List/Lkup Grups List and Lkup Grups cver all f the drpdwn chices that exist in Prlg. This wrkbk cntains multiple wrksheets listing the Prlg default values and prvides an area fr the Client t list their desired values. Security The rbust features f Security Manager dictates a user s rights thrughut Prlg. The wrkbk cntains multiple wrksheets that prvide a matrix fr the Client t detail their needs. Glbal/Prtfli/Prject Specific Optins Prlg has varius ptins that can be set n a Glbal, Prtfli (database) and Prject level. The wrkbk cntains multiple wrksheets that lists these ptins and allws the Client t specify their desires. Reprt and Letter Template Lgs The Client will prvide BPNE a 1 (tall) by 3 (wide) lg file in Bitmap (.bmp) frmat. This image will be added t the database fr use n bth reprts and wrd prcessr templates. Views Prlg includes the flexibility t cnfigure the Views enabled in the user interface. The wrkbk cntains a lists f the views included in a standard install s that the Client may identify thse they desire t be implemented. Ntificatins Prlg includes the flexibility t cnfigure email ntificatins. The wrkbk cntains a list f the standard ntificatins included with Prlg s that the Client may identify thse t be activated. Once the cmpleted Prlg Cnfiguratin Wrkbk is returned t BPNE, a web meeting will be scheduled t perfrm a jint review. The purpse f this meeting is fr BPNE t cnfirm with the Client thse cnfiguratins requested and make sure the result f each is understd. 3.1.5 Cnfiguratin Phase Upn cmpletin f the Design Phase, BPNE will implement the cnfiguratins cmmunicated in the wrkbk. All cnfiguratins will be made t ne Client Prlg database in the Client s Prlg envirnment. Once the cnfiguratins are cmplete, bth BPNE and the Client will perfrm testing. This testing is at the applicatin level t ensure all requirements have been met. 3.1.6 Training Phase Administratr Training BPNE will prvide Prlg Administratin User etraining fr up t (2) members f the Client s Organizatin. The Administratin etraining is designed t prvide the Client the basic knwledge necessary t maintain Prlg and make additinal cnfiguratins. The utline t be cvered will be divided int (4), (2) hur sessins and delivered ver (4) cnsecutive days. The tpics may include thse listed belw. This training is designed t prvide the End Users with the knwledge necessary t use Prlg as required by the Client. BPNE will prvide Prlg End User etraining fr up t (8) members f the Client s Organizatin. Training will be fcused n the Client s desired use f Prlg derived frm the Design Phase. The utline t be cvered will be divided int (3), (2) hur sessins and delivered ver (3) cnsecutive days. The tpics may include thse listed belw. Cnfiguratin Phase Training Phase The Cnfiguratin Phase will begin within fur business days f the Client prviding BPNE the cmpleted Prlg Cnfiguratin Wrkbk. etraining will be scheduled at a time mutually agreed upn by bth BPNE and the Client. 3.3 Agreement Terms 3.3.1 Assumptins 1. Each attendee cnnecting t the etraining site will d s via a high-speed internet cnnectin. 2. Client will be required t acknwledge a phase has been cmpleted prir t cmmencement f the next phase. Acceptance will be nted using the Milestne lg shw in Sectin 3.2 f this dcument. If BPNE is required t revisit a cmpleted phase, additinal fees may apply. Implementatin 3.3.2 Bundaries 1. All wrk will be perfrmed ff-site thrugh the use f web meeting technlgy (when necessary) between the hurs f 8:30AM & 5:00 PM EST. 2. Package includes cnfiguratin f a maximum 8 Prlg Security Grups. 3. Package includes activatin f the standard ntificatins included with Prlg frm the sftware develper Trimble/Meridian Systems. 4. Package includes activatin f the standard Dashbard(s) included with Prlg frm the sftware develper Trimble/Meridian Systems. 5. Nt all features mentined in this dcument are included with a Prlg installatin. Per the Prlg EULA (end user license agreement) nly thse features purchased can be implemented and trained. 3.3.3 Cnstraints 1. Package des nt include reprt develpment r mdificatins. 2.
