ENROLLMENT REGISTRATION PROCESS Enrollment is required for all offers available in the Avaya Learning Center. This would include offers with a delivery method of Instructor led, virtual, on demand as well as licenses for access to the Avaya Learning Virtual Campus Adding the activity to your cart: 1. Type in the offer code you are enrolling in the search field on the upper right corner of the screen 2. Click on the offer title. 3. The offer details will display. The list of upcoming Introductory Sessions and Practice Lab Workshops are listed at the bottom of the offer description for reference. To add the offer to your Shopping Cart, click the Shopping Cart icon. 4. Once you click the shopping cart, you will be ready to check out. If the activity does NOT require Training Manager Approval, you will be able to select payment method and place your order. If the activity DOES require Training Manager Approval, you will see a tab on the left side of the screen stating request approval. Click this tab and your request will be sent to your training manager or supervisor for approval. You will receive a confirmation request acknowledging that the message has been sent. You and your manager should also receive an email confirming the request has been sent. The training manager or supervisor will approve or deny the request by logging into the ALC and clicking on MY LEARNING>> MANAGER DAHSBOARD>> PENDING 3 Avaya Learning Center Virtual Campus Registration Guide March 2014 v.2
5. Your Training Manager (Supervisor) will have three choices for approval: Approved Payment Provided: This option allows your Training Manager (Supervisor) to provide the payment on your behalf and complete the enrollment. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email and the offer will be listed on your Current Courses under My Learning. Approved Payment Needed: This option allows your Training Manager (Supervisor) to approve but sends back to you to complete the payment. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the steps required to finalize payment and enroll into the offer. Declined This option allows your Training Manager (Supervisor) to decline the request. The Training Manager (Supervisor) must include a note as to why the request was declined. If this option is selected, you will receive an email notification and the offer will be removed from your shopping cart. You will need to submit a new request to your manager to enroll in the offer. 6. Once you have obtained Training Manager (Supervisory) approval, log back into the Avaya Learning Center. If approved and the payment was provided, click on MY LEARNING and the offer components will be listed on your Current Courses. If approved with payment needed, Click on SHOPPING CART i. If you have more than one item in your shopping cart, make sure you select the items you are paying for. You may also REMOVE items from your cart as well. ii. Please be aware that if you remove an item that was approved by your Training Manager or supervisor, you will need to resubmit a new request for approval again. iii. From the Payment Method drop down menu, click the desired payment method. a. Invoice (No Purchase Order) i. If you are located within the United States, you may select "Purchase Order" or "Invoice (no Purchase Order)". This will depend on your Company's policy as to whether POs are required to support the invoicing process or not. ii. You must provide your SAP Payor ID number and SOLD TO number. b. No Charge i. If the costs of your Cart items totals $0, simply choose the "No Charge" option. c. Promo Code d. Purchase Order i. If you are located outside the United States, please select the "Purchase Order" payment method in the dropdown list. 7. Complete the payment method details then click Save Payment. 8. Once the payment has been accepted, click Place Order. You should receive a confirmation email from the system indicating you have been enrolled. You will also receive a second email with additional information about your license offer. NOTE: If all courses have been purchased, your Shopping cart will be empty and you will be able to view your orders by selecting on the order number. MY LEARNING ACCESSING YOUR TRAINING The training you have purchased is located on your My Learning page of the Avaya Learning Center. The My Learning page displays a list of learning activities for which you are enrolled. You will also be shown any completed training on the Training Transcript. To launch Virtual Campus content from your My Learning home page: As noted above registration in Introductory Sessions and Practice Lab Workshops takes place after you have purchased the offering. You may register for your Introductory Session (INTRO), at any time. 1. Click on My Learning 2. Click on the title of the item you want to access: NOTE: When you click on your Self Directed training link, the Virtual Campus Portal Window will appear. For some training, you may see an option to access our 2D or 3D environment. Once you make your selection, a new browser window will open and you will be redirected to that option. 3. You may register for your Introductory Session (INTRO), at any time after enrollment. Simply click on the Introductory Session (INTRO) title and you will see a schedule of upcoming INTRO sessions Click on the radio button next to the INTRO session you wish to attend and click REGISTER. A confirmation bar will appear in the upper left part of your screen. NOTE: You may update your selection up to 30 minutes before your currently selected INTRO session starts by selecting a different time and clicking the register button again. Your requested date should now appear under Current Courses. 4. You may register for your LAB session, at any time after enrollment. Simply click on the LAB course title and you will see a schedule of upcoming lab sessions Click on the radio button next to the lab session you wish to attend and click REGISTER. Your requested date should now appear under Current Courses. NOTE: You may update your selection up to 30 minutes before your currently selected LAB session starts by selecting a different time and clicking the register button again. 5. To attend the INTRO or LAB session, click on the course title link on Current Courses. For the INTRO session, the REGISTER button will become active 30 minutes prior the start of the session and become a grey LAUNCH INTRO button. It will change from grey to red. Once it is red, it will transport you to the virtual campus for your session. It will stay active until 15 minutes after the end of your session. For the LAB session, the REGISTER button will become active 30 minutes prior the start of the session and become a grey LAUNCH LAB button. It will change from grey to red. Once it is red, it will transport you to the virtual campus for your session. It will stay active until 15 minutes after the end of your session. 6. If the Knowledge Access offer you have purchased includes access to an Avaya Online Test it will be listed in your Current Courses list. To launch the online test, click on the title. It is important that you do not click on the link until you are ready to take the online test. NOTE: When you click on the Online Test link, a new window will appear and launch the online test. Follow the instructions outlined on the online test window. Do not close your Avaya Learning Center browser. Online Request Entry The Avaya Learning Center provides a self-service feature for entering requests into the Avaya IT Self Service System. To access the ITSS form in the system: 1. Click Support from the top navigation bar 2. Click ITSS helpdesk found under Contact Avaya Learning Support 3. Type in your SSO login and password, Click Submit 4. Click on the appropriate ticket and complete the necessary steps Note: You will receive an electronic email confirmation of your request with a ticket number.
