1. The NAVGM-80R plugs at the HMI Module. 2. The HMI Module is located behind the glove box. Remove the glove box to see the HMI Module. 3. Unplug the factory 16 pin connector and plug it into the 16 pin male connector on the CAN Box harness. Plug the 16 pin female connector from the CAN Box harness to the HMI socket. 4. Connect RED wire to 12V ACC. We recommend tapping power from the ACC powered cigarette lighter outlet. Please note that some cigarette lighter outlets are connected to constant power. Do not use this as it will drain the battery. 5. Mount the GPS antenna in a suitable location and plug it to the NAVGM-80R module. 6. Plug the back up camera and any other video sources to the Video Inputs. 7. Connect the audio RCAs to the Audio Input harness. 8. Plug the push button switch to the module. 9. Mount the speaker in a suitable location and plug the cable to the module. Continue setting the NAVGM-80R on next page. 3 / 8

For composite video use. When 12V is applied to the GREEN wire in reverse gear, unit will switch to OEM video view. NOTE: Set all the DIP Switches on the CAN Box (small black box) to OFF. 1. SCREEN CALIBRATION Remove the SD card from the SD card slot on the side of the module. When the module is turned on for the first time, a cross will appear on a white screen. Tap the cross until the screen has been completely calibrated. When calibration is done, the screen will show the main page. 2. NAVIGATION SET UP Insert the navigation SD Card in the module. Tap on the Navigation icon and the Device screen will show. Tap on [StorageCard] then OK. 4 / 8
3. MAIN PAGE The main page has 8 icons: 1. Navigation Setup: this icons let s you set the location of the navigation software.exe file. Once it is set, it will remember the location the next time the navigation is used. 2. GPS System Monitor: This checks the signal strength of the navigation satellites. This module uses 96000 bps. COM2 is auto compatible with the navigation software. 3. System Setup: Used to set the language. 4. Touch-Screen Calibration: Used to calibrate the touch screen. Tap on this icon to show the calibration cross. Tap on the cross until it disappears to complete the calibration process. 5. Screen Adjustment: Use to set the brightness, contrast, adjust the vertical and horizontal position. The module is set to digital mode and adjustments is not necessary. 6. Volume: To turn ON or OFF the beeping sound every time the screen is touched. 7. System Time: The GPS automatically sets the system time but can also be manually adjusted. 8. System Information: To view the software version. 4. MEDIA PAGE The NAVGM-80R uses a powerful A6 processor and a multimedia processor capable of playing MP3 or MP5 files. Use the 3.5 AUX cable supplied to plug into the 3.5 AUX input of the vehicle. You can also plug in a USB thumb drive to the USB extension cable supplied to play MP3 music, see JPEG pictures or watch MP5 movies. 5 / 8
5. PHONE LINK The NAVGM-80R has a phone mirror function for Android phones. Plug the phone s charging cable to the USB extension cable of the module. Tap on the Phone-Link icon to use this function. You can control the functions of your Android phone using the vehicle s touch screen panel. 6. SIDE BUTTONS ON THE MODULE The 3 buttons on the side of the interface is used to fine tune the picture display (MENU, +, -). When the MENU button is pressed, the OSD strings will pop up on the screen. Pressing the +/- will change the settings.
