1.Menu operation 1.1 Local Operation Guide Click right mouse button in the local preview screen,as shown in the below picture: 2. Start/ Shutdown System(click Start on the main menu) 2.1 Local Menu-Start setting (Power Off, Reboot, Login and Logout, User guide, Device Time and Volume) 1

1)Power off: Switch on the power source correctly, press the button and start up the device 2)Login:Click Login, then enter to DVR login interface, you can input you own user name, the default user is admin, the default password is empty. 3)User guide:after login DVR interface, it will automatically enter into User guide interface, the interface includes four steps, respectively as below picture: Language: choose usage language, the default language for simplified Chinese, or click the right key to choose other languages, then click Next to save and enter into next step, as shown in the below picture: Display setting: Select format and set the resolution, the default format for PAL, resolution 1024 768 (60hz), or click the right key to choose other format and resolution (The resolution must suitable for the displayer ), then click Next to save and enter into next step, as shown in the below picture: 2

3 Network setting: IP: Input corresponding number to set the IP address Subnet mask: Input corresponding IP subnet mask Gateway address: Input corresponding gateway address Click Next to save and login DVR interface directly, as shown in the below picture: In addition, the settings can be modified in the start menu by clicking User guide directly to enter. 4)Power off: Click Power off, the device will automatically shutdown 5)Reboot: Click Reboot, the device will automatically reboot 6)Logout: Click Logout, log off the current user, logout and login again (Refer to the login, setup wizard instructions) 7)Device time: Select to open or close DVR time display 8)Volume: Select to open or close DVR audio 3

3. Preview The main preview interface will appear as shown in the below picture after starting up and successfully login. (Note: We take 8-ch for example in this paper) 4

4 System Configuration Setting(click Setting on the main menu) 4.1 Device Click Device, it will appear Device Info. interface, please input and modify the relevant basic information, then click Save, as shown in the below picture: 1)Device Info.: Check and modify the basic information Mode Modify: Click the drop down list of Mode, there are 8 different video output modes optional, respectively for 8x[1920*1080],8 [1920*1080]+IP4 [1920*1080] all used in AHD video output 2)System Version:View the system version number 3)PTZ Setting:Modify the access dome cameras parameters 4)DST Setting: Enable and set DST parameters 5)QR Code:By two-dimensional code scanning mobile client can access the device Scan the QR Code named Apple and Android below the Fseye to download Fseye APP for Apple phone and Android phone, and then Device to access the device. More detail about the use of Fseye, please refer to "Fseye Mobilephone Client User Manual" in CD. 5

4.2 Channel 4.2.1 Display Setting Select the relevant channel and modify the parameters on the Display Setting interface, as shown in the below picture: 1)Channel:Modify the specified channel name for the input devices 2)Local Camera Name:Modify channel name for specified channel 3)Time Format:Select time display mode for the access devices 6

4)Date Format:Select date display mode for the access devices 5)OSD Position:Set corresponding display position for the access devices name and display-time 6)Image Setting : Adjust brightness/ contrast/ saturation/ hue for the access devices ( Note: Except 1, other settings are only valid for the private protocol connected devices) 4.2.2 Video Parameters Modify the relevant channel video parameters on the Video Parameters interface,as shown in the below picture: 1)Channel:Select the channel number 2)Encoding Type: Main stream/ Sub stream for selection 3)Stream Type:Video&Audio/Video optional 4)Resolution:Camera supports several kinds of resolution 5)Bitrate Type: CBR/VBR optional 6)Bitrate: Select relevant bit rate for different conditions 7 ) Frame Rate: Select different frame rate from the drop-down list,full Frame P type for 25 and N type for 30 for default. 8)Video quality: Different level video quality optional, Highest for default. 9)I frame Interval: Set one frame interval, 25 frames for default ( Note: Video Setting will be directly modified the IP cameras parameters, and is only valid for private protocol linkage channel) 7

4.2.3 Schedule Record Modify each video channel parameters on the Schedule Record interface,as shown in the below picture: 4.2.3.1 Video Precise Backup Double-click to set precise video backup, the check box in front of All Day Recording can not mark, and then double-click the small check, the following interface will pop-up, as shown in the below picture: 4.2.3.2 Record time Click Record Time, to set period time recording on the Schedule Record interface, as shown in the below picture: 8

(Note:It can set 8 periods video recording mode during one day) 4.2.3.3 Advanced Record Set relevant advanced recording parameters for each channel on the Advanced interface, as shown in the below picture: 4.2.4 Motion Detection(Note: Fore-end IP Camera must support motion detection) Modify each video channel parameters on the Motion interface,as shown in the below picture: 9

1)Click in front of Enable Motion Detection 2)Set motion areas, as shown in the below picture: 3)Adjust sensitivity volume 4)Set arm schedule 5)Select linkage, as shown in the below picture: 10

Upload to Center: Alarm information upload to platform 4.2.5 Video lost Modify each video channel parameters on the Video Lost interface,as shown in the below picture: 11

1)Click in front of Enable Video Lost 2)Set arm schedule 3)Select linkage, as shown in the below picture: 4.2.6 Tampering Alarm (Note : Fore-end IP Camera must support tampering alarm) Modify each video channel parameters on the Tampering Alarm interface,as shown in the below picture: 12

1)Click in front of Enable Video Tampering 2)Set tempering alarm areas, as shown in the below picture: 3)Set alarm schedule 4)Select linkage, as shown in the below picture: 13

4.2.7 Video Mask Setting Modify each video channel parameters on the Video Mask interface,as shown in the below picture: 1)Click in front of Enable Video Mask 2)Set mask areas, as shown in the below picture: 14

4.3 Network Set the relevant parameters on the Network interface, as shown in the below picture. 4.3.1 Network Setting Modify the basic network parameters on the Network Setting interface, as shown in the below picture: 15

1)NIC: Select DVR NIC, only one NIC for default(without setting) 2)IP address:input the relevant IP address number (IP:192.168.1.189 default) 3)DHCP:Click in front of DHCP, it will automatically acquire a valid IP according to the router DHCP. If not, the last used IP is selected as the default. 4)Subnet Mask: Input relevant IP subnet mask number 5)Default Gateway: Input relevant default gateway 6)First DNS: Set DNS server IP address 7)Second DNS: Set another DNS server IP address 8)MAC:Display present MAC address 9)Default Route: Select diverse NIC router optional, only NIC1 for default, which can connect IP devices with different network segments 10)Remote Port: Input relevant remote port number(5050 default) 11)HTTP Port:Input relevant port number(80 default) 12)RTMP Port: Click and enable RTMP port, default port is 1935 13)RTSP Port: Click and enable RTSP port, default port is 554 14)RTSP Hppt Port: Input corresponding port, default port is 8002 Notice: Use domain name to access and login should be mapped RTMP, RTSP, 843 port 15)Enable 3G: After link 3G access equipment, click in front of Enable 3G, select device type, edit relevant phone number, and select work state, then click OK to save, as shown in the below picture: 16

4.3.1.1 Advanced setting Set advanced configuration parameters on the Advance interface, as shown in the below picture: 1) Manage host to make DVR register the servers automatically 2) Enable PPPOE function to achieve DVR dialing 3) Click in front of Enable UPnP, after set HTTP port and TCP port, it can match successfully, notice the port number can not conflict with other devices. 4.3.2 DNNS Setting Through the dynamic DNS server, which needs a PC with fixed IP address on the internet, with dynamic DNS server analysis it. 17

1) Select DDNS server type(there are Dyndns, PeanutHull, NO-IP, 3322, and Dnsdynamic five types for selection) 2) Input the server name,for example:member.3322.org 3) Input the port, 80 for default 4) Input the user name 5) Input the password 6) Confirm the password 7) Input the standby domain name 4.3.3 NTP Setting 1)Server Address: Input the IP of the NTP server(asia.pool.ntp.org for default) 2)NTP Port: This SNTP only supports TCP transmission. 123 for default 3)Update Frequency:Input the time interval for the need to be adjusted. 2 hours for default 4)Select Time Zone:Select different time zone optional 5)GMT: Do fine adjustment of time 4.3.4 Email Setting Set up alarm linkage E-mail on the Email Setting interface,as shown in the below picture: 18

For example: Outbox address: zhangsan@163.com Password: Outbox email password Receiver address: Test@yahoo.com SMTP server: smtp.163.com SMTP port:25 4.3.5 Management Platform User can open or close device protocol optional on the Management Platform interface, as shown in the below picture: 19

4.4 Alarm Set the relevant parameters according to the need on the Alarm interface, as shown in the below picture: 4.4.1 Alarm Input Set alarm input parameters on the Alarm Input interface, as shown in the below picture: 1)Enable alarm handle 2)Set alarm schedule 3)Select linkage, as shown in the below picture: 20

4.4.2 Alarm output Set alarm output parameters on the Alarm Output interface, as shown in the below picture: 1)Set alarm output delay 2)Set alarm schedule 21

4.4.3 Exception Set abnormality on the Exception interface, as shown in the below picture: 4.5 Account Set account setting and user online on the Account interface, as shown in the below picture: 22

4.5.1 Account information Setting Add / Modify/ Delete the user or distribute user permission on the Account Setting interface, as shown in the below picture: Click User Privilege,as shown on the below picture: 4.5.2 User Online Checking Check the current user connection status on the User Online interface, as 23

shown on the below picture: 4.6 System administration Set the relevant parameters on the System interface, as shown in the below picture. 24

4.6.1 Device Log Click Device Log on the System interface, check device log for different video type and diverse date time optional, as shown in the below picture: 1)Main Type of Log: All Type/ Alarm/ Exception/ Operation for selection 2)Sub Type: According to the different main types, there have corresponding sub type for selection 3)From: Select a start time for log query 4)To: Select a end time for log query 5)Export: Export and display all query results 4.6.2 Stream Info. View the stream information of each current channel on the Stream Info. interface, as shown in the below picture: 25

4.6.3 HDD Setting Click HDD Setting, check HDD capacity / free space, and do format by clicking in front of HDD No., then click Format, as shown in the below picture: 26

4.6.4 System Update Browsing the upgrade file on the Update interface, click Upgrade to update Device. 4.6.5 Auto Reboot There are Disable/ Every Day/ Every week/ Once options for selection, the device will restart according to the maintenance mode. 4.6.6 Recovery Configuration Click Export Configuration/Import Configuration/Default to make device do corresponding operation. 5. PTZ Control(click PTZ on the main menu) 27

1)Speed control: Set PTZ vertical/ horizontal rotation speed, lens zoom, aperture, and focus speed to control front-end camera 2)Accessory equipment: To control the access equipment 3)Preset setting: Rotate the camera to appropriate angle and position by PTZ directional button, select a preset number in the drop-down list, and click button. Call preset:select a preset number in need in the drop-down list, and click button. 4)Cruise setting:select a cruise number in the drop-down list, and click button, the following interface will pop-up: On the Cruise interface, set preset, preset name, residence time, cruise speed, and click Add to add new cruise preset( support multiple presets), click Delete to clear the preset. Call cruise: Select a cruise number in need in the drop-down list, and click button. Cruise delete: Select a cruise number in need in the drop-down list,and click delete to clear the cruise. 5)Track setting: Select a track number in the drop-down list, click track start button to make PTZ operation, and click again to finish, track memory operate successfully. button. Call track: Select a track number in need in the drop-down list, and click 28

6. Manual Record(click Record on the main menu) Manual record has highest priority, whatever status of each channel, click Manual,then all of the corresponding channels will do ordinary record,as shown in the below picture: 7. Manual Snapshot(click Capture on the main menu) Select Capture on the main menu, click in the lower right corner of the screen to do snapshot on the preview channel, and check the image picture in the file manager. 8. Video Playback(click Playback on the main menu) Select Playback on the main menu to enter into channel select interface, check replay channels in need, and the video image will retrieve automatically, as shown in the the below picture: 29

1)Pause: Click or to pause the current playback 2)Stop: Click to stop the current playback 3)Slow:Click to slow down the playback speed (1/2 1/4 1/8 1/16 times optional) 4)Fast:Click optional) 5)Snapshot: Click to speed up the playback process(2 4 8 16 times to snapshot any playback channel video image 6)Frame play:click 7)Backup:Click 8)Full screen:click 9)Volume:Click to play single frame to make video backup for any channel to make video image playback with full screen to adjust the volume of playback audio Double-click channel bar or click Play button to play the backup video. 30

9. Screen Display Setting(click Display Setting on the main menu) Select Display Setting in the main menu, the following interface will pop-up 1)Language: Different kinds of languages for selection (Simplified Chinese, English, French, etc.) 2)Auto Logout: It will logout automatically without operation during setting minutes 3)TV Adjust: Adjust the display position of analog output preview video 4)Display: Adjust the brightness/ contrast/ saturation/ hue/ transparency etc. of the video screen display 5)Displayer Resolution: Select different resolution in need 6)Enable SEQ: Click in front of Enable SEQ to make video image round tour automatically, and click Setting to set the round tour channels 7)Rotation Interval: Set rotation interval time(seconds) 10.Video Backup Setting(click Backup on the main menu) Select Backup in the main menu, after link USB access equipment, click Refresh to test whether USB devices are identified normally or not, when it is identified normally, the following interface will display corresponding information: 31

Channel:Select relevant channel in the drop-down list in need From:Select a start time for video backup To:Select a end time for video backup Once click Start, it will backup video file automatically, and show the backup process meanwhile, you also can click Stop and Unmount USB 11. Alarm setting(click Alarm on the main menu) Select Alarm in the main menu, all the devices alarm information will appear on the list, as shown in the below picture: 12. File Manage(click File Manage on the main menu 32

Select File Manager in the main menu, the file list column will show an external storage device backup files and local snapshot image, as shown in the below picture: 13. Image Setting(click Image Setting on the main menu) Adjust the video image brightness/ contrast/ saturation/ hue on the Image Setting interface, as shown in the below picture: 33
