Before You Begin What is included When you open your package, there should be two items inside of the box: 1. 1. One Spatial Wash COB WW light 2. One Powercon power cord 2. *If any of these items is damaged or missing, please contact Springtree Media Group immediately! Safety precautions To reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose this unit to moisture. Be sure that the local power outlet matches that of the required voltage for your unit Do not attempt to operate this unit if the power cord has been frayed or broken. Do not attempt to remove or break off the ground prong from the electrical cord. This prong is used to reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire in case of an internal short. Disconnect from main power before making any type of connection. Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Never plug this unit into a dimmer pack. Always be sure to mount this unit in an area that will allow proper ventilation. Allow about 6 (15cm) between this device and a wall. This fixture is intended for indoor use ONLY. During long periods of non-use disconnect the unit main power. Always mount this unit in a safe and stable matter. Keep this manual for as long as you own this product! Product Information Description The Spatial Wash COB WW is a light-weight fixture with 1 120 watt COB LED (chip on board). This lamp is a powerfully bright DMX controllable LED fixture that is perfect for wide stage wash or house lighting. Multiples of this fixture blend beautifully for unbeatable stage lighting.this fixture is light weight and can be daisy-chained to multiples for power and DMX, for ease of installation. Installation Power Supply Before plugging your unit in, be sure the source voltage in your area matches the voltage required for your lighting setup. Because line voltage may vary from venue to venue, you should be sure your unit voltage matches the wall outlet voltage before attempting to operate your unit. * Always connect this product to a protected circuit with an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire. *To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of nonuse completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it. Mounting Rigging The Spatial Wash COB WW may be mounted in any position, provided there is adequate room for ventilation around it. Operating in an insufficiently ventilated room can lead to an overheating of the device and may cause serious accidents. Keep a minimum distance of 0.5m around and above the device. Do not operate this device with the top part of the housing opened. Before deciding on a location, always make sure that it will be easy to access the unit for maintenance and programming purposes. Make sure that the structure onto which you are mounting this product can support its weight. Please see the Technical Specifications section of this manual for weight information. When mounting this product over head, always use a safety cable. Mount the fixture securely to a rigging point, whether an elevated platform or a truss. When rigging this product onto a truss, you should use a mounting clamp of appropriate weight capacity. The bracket has a 13 mm hole, which is appropriate for this purpose. When power linking multiple fixtures, you must always consider the length of the power linking cable and mount the fixtures close enough for the cable to reach them. The bracket knobs allow for directional adjustment when aiming the fixture to the desired angle. Only loosen or tighten the bracket knobs using your bare hands. Using tools could damage the knobs. Operation DMX Linking The Spatial Wash COB WW can be connected to a DMX controller using a 3-pin DMX cable, allowing total control over one or more fixtures. To do this, connect a DMX cable from the DMX-output on your controller to the DMX-input (labeled DMX IN) of the lighting unit. Connect a second light via its DMX-input to the first unit s DMX-output (labeled DMX OUT) to control and synchronize multiple lighting units at once. Normally the LED will display the current DMX address code of the fixture. Press UP and DOWN to choose the desired function and press ENTER to confirm. 6 (615) 599-1505 www.springtree.net

Maintenance Cleaning your Spatial Wash COB WW Due to fog residue, smoke, and dust, cleaning the internal and external optical lenses must be carried out periodically to optimize light output. 1. Use normal glass cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe off the outside casing. 2. Clean the external optics with glass cleaner and a soft cloth every 20 days. 3. Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit back in. *Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the unit operates (i.e. smoke, fog residue, dust, dew). Troubleshooting Listed below are a few common problems that you may encounter when using this product: Unit not responding to DMX: 1. Check that the DMX cables are connected properly and are wired correctly. DMX output DMX input 2. Check that all cables are connected to the right connectors; it does matter which way the inputs and outputs are connected. Unit does not respond to sound: 1. Quiet or high pitched sounds will not activate the unit. If problems are not resolved, contact your dealer for service.
