To make an external call: Dial 9 or press the outgoing button. Dial telephone number Dial # (speeds up the dialling) To call an extension on the system: Dial their extension number or press the flex key assigned to them To answer a call on speakerphone: Press the Speaker key To place a call on hold: Press the red hold key Either press the flashing call key or the red hold key again to retrieve the call If you leave a call on hold longer than the timer set on the system (120 sec) it will recall back to your phone and start ringing To transfer a call: While on the call press the transfer key E&OE Page 2 of 6
Dial the extension number you wish to transfer the call to Either announce the call to the person you are transferring to and hang up or hang up straight away. If the extension is programmed under a key you don t need to press the transfer key first. Redial: Press the redial key Mute: You can mute the handset or speaker while on a call. This allows you to hear them but they cannot hear you. Press the Mute key to enable and disable this feature. Volume: You can change the volume of the call and the volume of the ringtone using the up and down arrow keys. Message: E&OE Page 3 of 6
When you receive a message the MSG key will start flashing orange. Press the key and enter your passcode (if you have one). Follow the voice prompts to listen to, delete etc your message. Forwarding your phone Press the forward key or dial one of the feature codes below. 1. 355. All all calls will be forward 2. 356. No Answer calls will be forwarded if you don t answer the phone within the timer set (15 sec default) 3. 357. Busy calls will be forwarded when you are on the phone or DND 4. 358. Busy/No Answer calls will be forwarded when you are on the phone, in DND or don t answer. Then dial the destination you wish to forward to. This could be another extension, your voicemail (2500) or an external number (dial 9 followed by the number). Call Pick-Up (Reverse Transfer) Dial 4. Dial the extension number of the ringing handset to pick up the call. Or press the key assigned to their extension on your phone. Dial 397 Press the blank key you wish to programme Dial the extension number Station Speed Dials In addition to the system wide speed dials every phone can have 10 personal speed dials. To program a speed dial: Leave the handset down. Dial 383 Dial a code between 0-9 Enter the name of the speed dial using the keypad and press # Enter the telephone number to be stored (with a 9 at the start) and press # To dial a speed dial The easiest and quickest way to dial a speed dial is to assign it to a button. To do this follow the instructions below: After programming the speed dial (above) Leave the handset down Dial 397 Press the blank key you wish to program Dial 382 E&OE Page 5 of 6
