INTRODUCTION This dealer inquiry extension is very helpful for setup Dealer inquiry features into your store. If you are wholesaler or distributor then you can use this extension. You can use this extension for inquiry forms of your website. Our extension is easy to setup and give many options for settings from admin. DEALER INQUIRY EXTENSION FEATURES Admin can manage inquiry details from Dealer Management Section Admin can create customer from Dealer Inquiries page. Customer can get registration details by email which have auto generated password. Enable/Disable form fields, top link, jquery. Set labels of form fields, page heading, page description, top link, email subjects. Used magento templates for email and also can select custom template. Support multi store and multi website. Able to select different customer group for create customer from configuration. There are three extra fields of textbox, date time picker field and also upload multiple files field. Set Meta information for inquiry. Set custom URL key store wise. Supported Security Patch SUPEE-6788. Supported Magento version 1.4.x-1.9.x. FEATURES OF LATEST VERSION Added dependent drop down for select region based on country Bug fixed for date picker field in Chrome Browser. Note: Before installing the extension, please: 1. Disable Compilation by going to Backend -> System -> Tool -> Compilation 2. If your website is live, please backup your store database. 3
INSTALLATION Using Magento Connect: Step-1 Go to admin System Magento Connect Magento Connect Manager. You will get Following Screen. Enter your Username and Password here then, click on the login. Step-2 You will get following screen. Paste the key which is selected from magento connect and Click on Install button or upload extension package. 4
Step-3 Log out from admin panel and re-login to admin panel. Manually Installation: Step-1 Step-2 Step-3 Step-4 Unpack the contents of the Dealer_Inquery-2.1.4 folder. Copy CapacityWebSolutions_Inquiry.xml from app/etc/modules/ and put it in to your magento app/etc/modules/ folder. Copy CapacityWebSolutions folder from app/code/community/ and put it in to your magento app/code/community/ folder. Copy inquiry.xml from app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/ and put it in to your magento app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/ folder. 5
Step-5 Step-6 Step-7 Step-8 Step-9 Copy inquiry folder from app/design/frontend/base/default/template/ and put it in to your magento app/design/frontend/<your package>/<your theme>/template/ folder. Copy inquiry.xml from app/design/frontend/base/default/layout/ and put it in to your magento app/design/frontend/<your package>/<your theme>/layout/ folder. Copy inquiry folder from app/locale/en_us/template/email and put it into your magento app/locale/en_us/template/email folder. Copy inquiry folder from skin/frontend/base/default/css/ and put it in to your magento skin/frontend/<your package>/<your theme>/css/ folder. Copy inquiry folder from skin/frontend/base/default/images/ and put it into your magento skin/frontend/<your package>/<your theme>/images/ folder. Copy inquiry folder from media/ and put it in to your magento media/ folder. Note: When you unpack the contents of the Dealer_Inquery folder from package file downloaded, you will get package.xml file at the root folder. There is no need to upload that file. Note: After installing Dealer Inquiry Extension. Please Logout from admin account and Relogin. 6
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS Go to System Configuration MAGEBEES Dealer Inquiry OR MageBees Dealer Inquiries Settings 7
General Tab:- Enabled/Disabled the Dealer inquiry Extension from Admin Panel. Set your custom URL key for inquiry form relative to Website Base URL. Enabled/Disabled top link for open dealer inquiry form Set top link label text. Set page layout of dealer inquiry form and success page. Set heading text of dealer inquiry form. Set meta title, description and keywords of dealer inquiry. Set description text and it shows below the dealer inquiry form title. Set submit button text. Set success page description text. Set indicates required label text. Select different customer group type for create customer from dealer manager. 8
Dealer Inquiry Owner Email Template Tab:- Set email template subject. Choose email template which are created in Transactional Email or use default template. Select owner email which is specified in general contact or can specify custom owner email address. Dealer Inquiry Customer Email Template Tab:- Set email template subject. Choose email template which are created in Transactional Email or use default template. Create Customer Email Template Tab:- Set email template subject. Choose email template which are created in Transactional Email or use default template. 9
Change Label of Fields Tab:- You can set all field of label. 10

MANAGE DEALER Step-1 Go to your site frontend. You will Get Following Screen. Screen 1.1 (default Package) Screen 1.2 (rwd Package) 12
Step-2 Click on Dealer Inquiry link. (From Header Navigation) You will Get Following Screen. Screen 1.1 (default Package) 13

Step-3 Go to your site Backend. Go to MageBees Dealer Inquiries Dealer Management. You can see all dealers list from here Mouse over on particular record and click on it for see detailed page. You will get following screen. 15
Step-4 After submitting dealer inquiry form, admin get email notification like following screen. 16

CREATE CUSTOMER Go to MageBees Dealer Inquiries Dealer Management. Click on Create Customer icon for create customer form here. OR Click on Create Customer from dealer detailed page. 18
In above screenshot third row has new created customer entry. When admin click on create customer button after customer get email of his username and password as per below screen. 19
FAQ Q-1: I have Installed Dealer Inquiry Extension. But when I click on Dealer Inquiry Tab in the config page will get a 404. :(. After installing Dealer Inquiry Extension. Please Logout from admin account and Relogin and Refresh Cache. Q-2: How to use Dealer inquiry Extension in other themes? For use Dealer inquiry Extension in other themes you need to follow below steps:- Step-1 Copy "inquiry.xml file from <SITE ROOT>/app/design/frontend/base/default/layout and put it into your <SITE ROOT>/app/design/frontend/Your Package/Your theme/layout/ file. Step-2 Copy "inquiry" folder from <SITE ROOT>/app/design/frontend/base/default/template and put it in to your <SITE ROOT>/app/design/frontend/Your Package/Your theme/template/ folder. Step-3 Copy "inquiry-icon.png" image from <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/base/default/images/ and put it in to your <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/Your Package/Your theme/images/ file. Step-4 Copy "refresh.png" image from <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/base/default/images/ and put it in to your <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/Your Package/Your theme/images/ file. Step-5 Copy "inquiry.css" file from <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/base/default/css/ and put it in to your <SITE ROOT>/skin/frontend/Your Package/Your theme/css/ file. Step-6 After successfully Copy File & folder you need to clear/refresh all your cache. Step-7 Now check Dealer inquiry Extension on Front-end. 20
Q-3: I have installed Dealer Inquiry Extension. But When I click on Dealer Management menu it will show database table error. Go to your store database. Check delerinquiry database table exits or not. If you not found table then click on core_resource table and found inquiry_setup value. Remove inquiry_setup entry and reinstall this extension. Q-4: Store Name not displayed in email. Go to System Configuration General General Tab. Specify store name in Store Information Section as per display in following screen. Q-5: We have implemented dealer inquiry extension but admin did not get mail when customer submits the dealer inquiry form. Can please let me know how admin can get the mail. Go to System Configuration General Store Email Addresses Tab. Please specify Sender Email in General Contact Section for get admin mail. 21
Q-6: In inquiry form captcha image not load. See following screen shot. This caused due to the Media folder of your site does not have sufficient permission Give permissions to <root>/media folder so captcha image can create in <root>/media/inquiry/captcha folder. 22
