11 xi Abstract The interactive and efficient user interface (UI) has been basic prerequisite of the users since beginning. A lot of research works have been done to develop interactive UI for different purpose. There has been used so many aspect of programming languages for the same. Regarding this research work, I have review different research papers that are published in several journals and conferences, and I have found that the OOP programming language is mostly used. Further, I also observed that an UI was able to demonstrate the taken time of different sorting such as bubble sort, selection sort, shell sort and quick sort using array consisting dates. I also observed that an UI can be built being some optimization into UI application development using control array, inheritance and polymorphism. The control array is generally not used during UI development instead of developing calculator or some other UI. This research is based on analytical and empirical methodology, and implemented on visual basic which is object-based language. This thesis proposed an UI that will demonstrate sorting process with tracing view of their algorithm using control array in same window such as bubble sort, selection sort and insertion sort. This demonstration will be optional and under controlled by the respondent. Academically, this UI will be effective and interactive tool for student or any respondent to learn different sorting process and their algorithm. It will also be helpful for the trainer or teacher to make understand the student for the same.
