15 CINEMA EOS PERFORMANCE Canon Log / Canon Log 3 10bit/12bit Log excels at reproducing detail in darker regions As with Canon Log 2 and Canon Log, Canon Log 3 is a gamma that anticipates a post-production finishing process. In comparison with Canon Log, it offers a wider dynamic range while retaining performance in darker regions and the 18% reference (1600% / 13-STOP equivalent), and achieves equal output in wide regions of Log space. Canon Log 3 improves dark area noise * Canon Log 2 emphasized grading to generate image quality, so it was noted for higher tonality in dark areas compared to Canon Log. However, some scenes generated noticeable noise, requiring a noise reduction function or adjustment in darker regions in post-processing. However, Canon Log 3 uses a gamma designed to consider simple enough grading to tighten dark areas and adjust gradation, making it a gamma that makes noise less noticeable and widens dynamic range while retaining Canon Log s ease of use. Max. 13-stop equivalent dynamic range Just like with Canon Log 2, when Canon Log 3 is selected the dynamic range can be changed 200%- 1600% at ISO , or 1600% when ISO is above 800. (Canon Log 3 offers a 13-stop equivalent.)

It lets the user easily set the focus position, enabling simple and intuitive focusing even during single-operator shooting. Attach the LA-V1 3- hinge LCD attachment unit to flexibly rotate the panel during shooting. The space between the grip and optical axis has been shortened by 9 mm compared with the C300 Mark II, and the grip has a new shape for better weight balance.
