The camera is available in 1080p or 720p resoltion versions and provides p to 60 images per second. There is a selection of high qality lenses separately available. System overview The otstanding imaging performance is combined with advanced image processing techniqes: Essential Analytics tracks and focses on relevant sitations and adds sense and strctre to stored video, allowing yo to qickly retrieve the correct data. Intelligent Ato Exposre gives sperb front and back light compensation, providing the perfect pictre every time. Intelligent Dynamic Noise Redction saves bitrate at the sorce and only ses bandwidth when needed. This reslts in p to 50% less bitrate which significantly redces storage costs and network strain withot compromising on video qality. Fnctions Exceptional low-light performance The latest sensor technology combined with the sophisticated noise sppression reslts in an exceptional sensitivity in color. The low-light performance is so good that the camera contines to provide excellent color performance even with a minimm of ambient light. Fast performance The 60 images-per-second mode provides for optimm performance in fast action scenes and is particlarly sitable for casino and banking applications. Extended dynamic range mode The extended dynamic range mode is based on a mltiple-exposre process that captres more details in the highlights and in the shadows even in the same scene. The reslt is that yo can easily distingish objects and featres, for example, faces with bright backlight. The actal dynamic range of the camera is measred sing Opto-Electronic Conversion Fnction (OECF) analysis according to IEC Part 5. This method is sed to provide a standard reslt which can be sed to compare different cameras.

The camera examines the scene sing Essential Analytics and provides feedback to re-tne the image processing. This provides better detail in the areas that matter and better all-rond performance. With Essential Analytics technology, for example, allows yo to view moving objects in bright and dark areas of a scene. Essential Analytics The bilt-in video analysis reinforces the Intelligenceat-the-Edge concept and now delivers even more powerfl featres. Essential Analytics is ideal for se in controlled environments with limited detection ranges. The system reliably detects, tracks, and analyzes objects, and alerts yo when predefined alarms are triggered. A smart set of alarm rles makes complex tasks easy and redces false alarms to a minimm. Metadata is attached to yor video to add sense and strctre. This enables yo to qickly retrieve the relevant images from hors of stored video. Metadata can also be sed to deliver irreftable forensic evidence or to optimize bsiness processes based on people conting or crowd density information. Calibration is qick and easy jst enter the height of the camera. The internal gyro/accelerometer sensor provides the rest of the information to precisely calibrate the video analytics. Intelligent Dynamic Noise Redction redces bandwidth and storage reqirements The camera ses Intelligent Dynamic Noise Redction which actively analyzes the contents of a scene and redces noise artifacts accordingly. The low-noise image and the efficient H.264 compression technology provide clear images while redcing bandwidth and storage by p to 50% compared to other H.264 cameras. This reslts in redced-bandwidth streams that still retain a high image qality and smooth motion. The camera provides the most sable image possible by cleverly optimizing the detail-to-bandwidth ratio. Area-based encoding Area-based encoding is another featre which redces bandwidth. Compression parameters for p to eight ser-definable regions can be set. This allows ninteresting regions to be highly compressed, leaving more bandwidth for important parts of the scene. Bitrate optimized profile The average typical optimized bandwidth in kbits/s for varios image rates is shown in the table: IPS 1080p 720p 480p Mltiple streams The innovative mlti-streaming featre delivers varios H.264 streams together with an M JPEG stream. These streams facilitate bandwidth-efficient viewing and recording as well as integration with third-party video management systems. Depending on the resoltion and frame rate selected for the first stream, the second stream provides a copy of the first stream or a lower resoltion stream. The third stream ses the I-frames of the first stream for recording; the forth stream shows a JPEG image at a maximm of 10 Mbit/s. Regions of interest and E-PTZ Regions of Interest (ROI) can be ser defined. The remote E-PTZ (Electronic Pan, Tilt and Zoom) controls allow yo to select specific areas of the parent image. These regions prodce separate streams for remote viewing and recording. These streams, together with the main stream, allow the operator to separately monitor the most interesting part of a scene while still retaining sitational awareness. Intelligent Tracking can follow objects within the defined regions of interest. Intelligent Tracking can atonomosly detect and track moving objects or the ser can click on an object which the tracker will then follow. Storage management Recording management can be controlled by the Bosch Video Recording Manager (VRM) or the camera can se iscsi targets directly withot any recording software. Edge recording Insert a memory card into the card slot to store p to 2 TB of local alarm recording. Pre-alarm recording in RAM redces recording bandwidth on the network, and extends the effective life of the memory card. Clod-based services The camera spports time-based or alarm-based JPEG posting to for different acconts. These acconts can address FTP servers or clod-based storage facilities (for example, Dropbox). Video clips or JPEG images can also be exported to these acconts. Alarms can be set p to trigger an or SMS notification so yo are always aware of abnormal events. Easy installation Power for the camera can be spplied via a Powerover-Ethernet compliant network cable connection. With this configration, only a single cable connection is reqired to view, power, and control the camera.

The camera can also be spplied with power from +12 VDC power spplies. To increase system reliability, the camera can be simltaneosly connected to both PoE and +12 VDC spplies. If one power sorce fails, the other sorce takes over withot a reboot so providing power redndancy. The ato-focs lens wizard makes it easy for an installer to accrately focs the camera for both day and night operation. The wizard is activated from the web browser or from the on-board camera psh btton making it easy to choose the workflow that sits best. The atomatic motorized back focs adjstment with 1:1 pixel mapping ensres the camera is always focsed accrately. Atomatic image rotation The integrated gyro/accelerometer sensor atomatically corrects the image orientation in steps of 90 if the camera is monted at right angles or pside down. The sensor image can also be rotated manally throgh steps of 90. To efficiently captre details in long hallways withot loss of resoltion, mont the camera at right angles. The image is displayed pright at fll resoltion on yor monitor. Scene modes The camera has a very intitive ser interface that allows fast and easy configration. Nine configrable modes are provided with the best settings for a variety of applications. Different scene modes can be selected for day or night sitations. Hybrid operation A srge-protected analog video otpt allows fll hybrid operation. This means that high resoltion IP video streaming and an analog video otpt are available simltaneosly. The hybrid fnctionality offers an easy migration path from legacy CCTV to a modern IP-based system. Tre day/night switching The camera is a tre day/night camera with a mechanical filter for vivid daytime color and exceptional night-time imaging while maintaining sharp focs nder all lighting conditions. The filter can be switched remotely, or atomatically via a light level sensor or contact inpt. Data secrity Special measres have been pt in place to ensre the highest level of secrity for device access and data transport. The three-level password protection with secrity recommendations allows sers to cstomize device access. Web browser access can be protected sing HTTPS and firmware pdates can also be protected with athenticated secre ploads. The on-board Trsted Platform Modle (TPM) and Pblic Key Infrastrctre (PKI) spport, garantee sperior protection from malicios attacks. The 802.1x network athentication with EAP/TLS, spports TLS 1.2 with pdated cipher sites inclding AES 256 encryption. The advanced certificate handling offers: Self-signed niqe certificates atomatically created when reqired Client and server certificates for athentication Client certificates for proof of athenticity Certificates with encrypted private keys Complete viewing software There are many ways to access the camera s featres: sing a web browser, with the Bosch Video Management System, with the free-of-charge Bosch Video Client or Video Secrity Client, with the video secrity mobile app, or via third-party software. Video secrity app The Bosch video secrity mobile app has been developed to enable Anywhere access to HD srveillance images allowing yo to view live images from any location. The app is designed to give yo complete control of all yor cameras, from panning and tilting to zoom and focs fnctions. It s like taking yor control room with yo. This app, together with the separately available Bosch transcoder, will allow yo to flly tilize or dynamic transcoding featres so yo can play back images even over low-bandwidth connections. System integration The camera conforms to the ONVIF Profile SONVIF Profile G and ONVIF Profile Q specifications. Compliance with these standards garantees interoperability between network video prodcts regardless of manfactrer. Third-party integrators can easily access the internal featre set of the camera for integration into large projects.
