When attached to the MIC7130 starlight models, Detection of moving objects at p to 175 m (575 ft) is possible. Fnctions As ambient light decreases in the scene, the camera switches to monochrome mode and atomatically activates the IR LEDs of the illminator. Operators can trn the White light LEDs on and off as necessary, especially to se as a deterrent effect. Beam intensity is controlled atomatically or manally, depending on ser preference. Decreasing intensity redces overexposre. A patented Constant Light technology featre compensates for LED aging effects over the life of the prodct. The MIC illminator s IK10, vandal-resistant design integrates togh, polycarbonate windows attached to a corrosion-resistant alminm body finished with a drable powder coat paint. The illminator is exceptionally resistant to relatively high levels of wind, vibration, and shock. The combination of the camera and attached illminator accessory contine to meet MIC s traditional IP68 / NEMA 6P ingress rating. Operators have the option to set atomatic timeot of the White light mode. After this mode times ot, the illminator will operate in IR mode. When IR illminators are active, the IR focs correction featre of the camera block is enabled atomatically. Likewise, when White light illminators are active, appropriate changes to white balance featre of camera block are implemented. Operators can disable the White light fnctionality permanently or by sector in order to prevent activation in sitations where White light might create a hazardos sitation sch as blinding a driver on a highway. The MIC7000 illminator accessory is easily installed in the field on a MIC7000 camera that is monted in pright, inverted, or canted orientation. For aesthetics, the colors of the illminator hosing match those of the MIC7000 camera models (black, white, grey).
