6 Notes regarding your order Catalogue-Numbers, Package Contents, Discounts Please never enter the package contents in your quantity column. Simply the quantity of package units is required. E.g. product is 10 x 10ml Formaldehyde. If you enter 10 under quantity, you will receive 10 x 10 x 10ml! If you enter 1 in your quantity column, you will receive 1 x 10 x 10ml. One and the same product can appear under different catalogue numbers. This is simply a different package unit. Please note: Larger package units are already discounted. There can be no further discounts on the particular catalogue number unless you order a very large amount of that. Minimum Order Value In principle, Science Services does not accept contractual offers of orders under (excl. VAT). Please extend your order. (The relation of the cost of goods and cost of transport as well as the level of bureaucracy will stay in a reasonable range.) Pricing All prices are exclusive of packaging, transport and transport insurance fees as well as the VAT valid at the time. Goods shall be delivered at the prices agreed upon. Where a price was not explicitly agreed upon, the current price list of Science Services shall apply. In principle, we do not grant discounts unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Delivery times Science Services always endeavours to process orders promptly. However, estimated delivery times are product-dependent. Usual delivery times are in the range of 1-10 working days. Science Services shall be entitled to determine the estimated shipping date, mentioned in the written order confirmation, to be within a period of 3 weeks upon confirmation. Any delivery dates stated otherwise, e.g. on our website, by phone or or in the confirmation of receipt, shall only be non-binding, estimated reference points. Returning Goods / Cancellation For cancellation and restocking a lump-sum of 10 percent of the value of goods will be due upon declaration of consent by Science Services. Returns may not be made without prior notice to Science Services. We shall not take back any products that require special storage, e.g. below room temperature. Custom-made goods of any kind shall only be taken back to some extent and only in exchange for a credit note. Warranty / Liability Obvious defects of goods shall be notified in writing without delay, but within three days of receipt of goods at the latest. Hidden defects shall be notified immediately upon discovery, but within 12 months upon receipt of goods at the latest. Where defects are not notified in due time, goods shall be considered as having been accepted. Payment, Bank Charges All payments shall be made without deductions within 30 days of the invoice date. Science Services shall be entitled to demand advance payment. Please note: all bank charges, both paying and receiving banks must be carried by the customer. (Charge option on International Payment Forms Amount of payment plus all charges) The net payment we receive, must be the full total shown on the bottom line of the invoice. We recommend payment in Euros, since bank charges are very low this way. For cheques a bank commission of 15,- incurres. Please add this amount to your invoice total. Please come back to us if you need an invoice stating this charges.
