Due to the fact that the digital radiology system operates on the ICU s battery, no additional battery or charger is needed. The Four Slider Image Positions Fully controlled from a distance by GM s XBit proprietary software, the operator can capture one, two or four consecutive combined images as needed. Providing the most cost-effective solution for large imaging areas, Slider 2X2 automatically displays images side by side, creating one large image which can be saved as a single unit in the database. With the active imaging area starting near to the bottom and side, the dead area is reduced to a minimum. Operator safety has always been one of GM s central considerations; thus, operation times and radiation doses are dramatically reduced, and only a single approach is required. 3 Golden X-ray Sources Golden Portable Pulsed X-ray Sources Golden Engineering s pulsed X-ray sources are portable, fully battery-operated units. Small and lightweight, they are easily trekked to any inspection site. Requiring no warming up, the sources can be used immediately after placement in the field. The Golden X-ray sources are fully compatible with GM portable X-ray systems whether using cables or wireless mode. A source with dimensions comparable to the XRS-3 can fit into any GM system case or backpack. The sources are supplied with two batteries, a charger and 2 keys. Four types of Golden Pulsed X-ray sources are currently available, varying in size, weight and energy output.

5 BlazeX Configurations Ruggedized Case (Standard Configuration) All of the components of the BlazeX portable radiography system, including a relatively large area digital flat a-si panel and wireless accessories, fit snugly into GM s ruggedized case. Tight spots and rough terrain are no obstacles for the flexible system, which can be set up effectively even in the most rugged conditions. The case, which serves as an operational platform, can be situated at a safe distance from the object under inspection. 14 FoXrayIIe Configurations Ruggedized Case (Standard Configuration) The FoXrayIIe digital portable X-ray system is contained in a single rugged case along with a VCU-10e as the standard package. The ruggedized case also serves as a working platform upon which the laptop is placed in the field for system operation from a safe distance. The 50m cable reel remains inside the case during the entire operation process. All the system components, including X-ray source, cables and wireless accessories, fit inside the case. When purchasing a system with a larger CCD VCU (16 or 22 ), it will be provided in a second case. This compact, lightweight device offers a wide range of sophisticated features unavailable in comparable products including an embedded computer; smart power system supporting 3 different panels and system accessories; a large capacity battery with a smart charger; advanced communication interface enabling communication with the detectors, the X-ray sources and the laptop; built-in, long-range WiFi X enabling 300 line of sight communication with the laptop; and built-in WXR enabling coded and safe wireless communication with the X-ray source. GM s smart ICU enables synchronization of X-ray sources - this refers not only to the smart ICU s ability to operate various X-ray sources (e.g, Golden pulsed X-ray sources or industrial constant potential sources), but also to the significant reduction of the dose use, thereby improving safety and performances. The smart ICU s uniqueness lies in its ability not only to synchronize and control the panel and X- ray, but also to maintain in its own built-in memory the image produced by the panel. In other systems, if the wireless communication is disrupted by interference, part of the image may be lost, requiring an X- ray reshoot in the hope that the interference will not recur. GM s smart ICU ensures that any lost packet can be re-sent independently from the ICU to the computer, thus automatically achieving fast and complete image transfer without any need to reshoot. ICU Smart Power ManagementWith the aim of enhancing system flexibility, the ICU switches automatically from external power (such as a DC/AC vehicle inverter) to internal battery use. When connected to an external power, the system automatically charges the battery parallel to system operation. Operator safety is ensured by providing power down the line no second downrange approach is ever required to change dead batteries.
