The products are widely applied in remote and mountain rural areas, islands, call shops, small company offices, coin public telephone booth/fixed telephone booth, long-distance bus, dwelling house, and so on where wired line telephone service cannot reach or where it is hard to solve the communications needs of the public temporarily. Installation Method 1) Insert a 3G/GSM Card into the fixed wireless terminal. Please slide the cover at back of the terminal and make sure SIM Card is inserted, and slide the cover perfectly. 2) Connect with radio frequency antenna. 3) Connect with telephone into PHONE port. 4) Connect with power adapter. 5) Connect with the antenna, connect the head of SMA with antenna, and keep the distance over 40cm between SMA and the terminal. 4. Operation Guide A. Turning on To turn on the power, the device needs about 1 minute to load initialization data automatically and searching network. In the period, the working indicator keeps on lighting. You can hear the dialing tone after picking up the handset. 3

4 B. Indicators state Power light: external power indicator, red color. Signal light: network signal indicator, flashing with signal and extinguish without signal, green color. IN USE light: in the picking off state, it lights when pick off and go out when hang. It lights when it cannot connect to the module, green color. Talking light: it lights after talking state. Using Setting You can set THE TERMINAL through telephone keyboard. Input **##**7788# hearing a tone, enter into using setting mode; When you input **##7788# then busy tone to drop out. Troubleshooting (Trouble 1) Much noise during conversation 1. Make sure the telephone is in good condition. 2. Make sure the out-door antenna is not too close to the telephone. 3. Check the signal strength, adjust location of the out-door antenna or the terminal. (Trouble2) The GSM/WCDMA Fixed Wireless Terminal does not work 1. Make sure the accumulator is workable, not in low battery. 2. Make sure the POWER switch is on. 7

8 3. Make sure the SIM card is good and effective. 4. Check if power adapter is good. (Trouble3) The telephone does not ring when a call is coming 1. Make sure the telephone is in good condition. 2. Make sure the RJ-11 line is connected firmly to the telephone and GSM/WCDMA Fixed Wireless Terminal. (Trouble 4) Caller ID service is unworkable 1. Make sure DTMF Caller ID service is supportable by your matching telephone. 2. Make sure you have subscribed for Caller ID service successfully. 3. Cut off the power for a few seconds, then connect again. (Trouble 5) no signal 1. Make sure the out-door antenna is in proper place. 2. Make sure the out-door antenna is installed properly. 3. Make sure the SIM card is installed properly. 9. Warning 1. Avoid placing the equipment in a dusty location, or near to the source of gas or fire. 2. Do not use the equipment near water, for example, near a bathtub, sink, wet basement, or swimming pool and etc. 3. Don't shake, hit or drop the equipment. 8

9 4. If you clear the outside of the equipment, use only a soft, dry cloth. The chemicals in alcohol, benzene or acetone can damage the surface of the equipment. 5. Do not disassemble the equipment. 6. Use only the PROVIDER offered antenna. Do not use the PROVIDER antenna for any other purpose. 7. Use only the designated backup rechargeable battery (optional). Dispose of exhausted battery properly. Never discard a battery in or near fire or flame. 8. Frequency and length of use can affect the life of the backup rechargeable battery. Contact your customer service if the battery is not operating properly. 9
