3 Introduction A Ready Business has the freedom to travel without interrupting business Using your phone abroad with the UK s best network for roaming liberates you to work abroad in 110 destinations across the globe, without worrying about confusing packages or running up a huge bill. Your employees can use your UK tariff charges or your monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data, just like they do at home for free in Europe Zone 1, and for a simple, set daily fee that they only pay on the days when they use it in Europe Zone 2 and our World Zone - which includes 60 destinations. 5 Travelling to Europe Europe Zone 1 What do you need to know? As of 15 June, you will be charged your UK rates, or can use any inclusive allowance or add-ons (minutes, texts and data) with no additional charges.* Please note that any calls to premium rate or nongeographical numbers (e.g. those starting with 0845) are still charged at standard roaming rates For our public sector customers, we automatically charge the lowest possible rate from either the standard UK rates or your current roaming rates. *Fair usage policy applies, please check your relevant price plan for details. What does it mean to you? For example, if you have unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data in your UK plan, your employees can use these allowances in Europe Zone 1 without any additional charges, in the same way as they would if they were in the UK. What do you need to do? You are automatically opted in, you don t need to do anything, you can roam worry-free. See which destinations are in Europe Zone 1 Business Plus and Advance Traveller plans Following the change in the EU regulations, from 15 June 2017 we will be reducing the standard monthly fee by 6. We are also adding 100 international minutes to your plan, helping your employees to stay in touch with customers and colleagues wherever they are in our Europe Zones. 5

6 Travelling to Europe Worry-free Roaming with Business Traveller in Europe Zone 2 If you are on our Business Plus, Advance, or Freedom plans and traveling in Europe Zone 2, Business Traveller** allows you to use your UK plan for just 2.50 a day. Alternatively you will be charged standard roaming rates. What does it mean to you? You ll only pay on the days your employees use their phone for calling, texting or using data in our Business Traveller Europe Zone 2, giving you complete control and peace of mind, wherever they are. **Euro Traveller is still available on Red and Business Sharer plans (for Europe Zone 2) also for 2.50 per day. A day is 00:00 to 23:59 local time of the capital city. If they use all the allowance in the plan, don t worry, you will be charged standard UK domestic rates - rather than roaming rates. If you are on our Business Plus, Advance, or Freedom plans and traveling outside Europe, Business Traveller** allows you to use your UK plan in 60 destinations in our World Zone for just 5 a day. Alternatively you will be charged standard roaming rates. **World Traveller is still available on Red and Business Sharer (for the World Zone) also at 5 per day. What does it mean to you? You ll only pay on the days your employees use their phone for calling, texting or using data in our Business Traveller World Zone, giving you complete control and peace of mind, wherever they are. 12 International calling International calling You will be charged a standard international rate of up to 1.67 * For calls from the UK to Europe Zones 1&2 For calls from the UK or Europe Zone 1 to Europe Zone 2, the World Zone and Rest of World Zone *You will be charged a maximum rate of 1.67, see your price plan for full details. 13 Hints and tips Before you leave home When you arrive Data caps If you haven t taken your mobile abroad before, just quickly check if it s not barred from use abroad by visiting My Vodafone at vodafone.co.uk/myvodafone or calling us on 191. To access your voic while you re away, you ll need to set up a security code before you go. Just call 121, wait to be connected then select 4, then 2. Enable data roaming on your phone. Set up PINs for your voic and phone. For the safety of your phone set a SIM PIN, which will stop your SIM being used in a different device. Make a note of our useful numbers in the table on the following page. If you have an iphone please ensure that the EU Internet option is disabled. In most countries, you ll receive a welcome text message as soon as you arrive. This text will tell you how much it ll cost to use your phone, along with some other useful information and emergency numbers. Your mobile should also automatically start searching for an available local network to display to you. If not, then you can search for a network manually by following these easy steps: 1. Go to the SETTINGS menu on your phone 2. Choose PHONE SETTINGS 3. Pick a network This can vary by phone, check with the manufacturer. Europe Zones 1: There is no data cap, so your employees are able to use your home tariff/allowance without worrying about hitting the usual 50 limit. Europe Zone 2, World Zone and ROW Zones: A 50 data cap is applied to avoid those nasty surprise bills. If you are opted into Business Traveller for Europe Zone 2 or the World Zone, the cap does not apply as you ll be using your home plan. 13
