In the moduled demanding certain performance before the examination, this performance has to be delivered and passed before the first automatical enrollment is carried out. In case of failure or deregistration for the module examination, an enrollement for the next regular examination appointment will be undertaken automatically. An internship (practical studies), the enrollment to which is carried out automatically by the Examination Office in the chosen term and is to be regarded as the performance to be delivered before the module examination - in other words, the the module examination can be carried out only if the internship (practical studies) have already been completed. They are on offer only once per year. The ratio of value of this practical studies for the entire module grade is defined in the module description. In case someone fails to complete the performance requested from him or her before the module exam, the entrollment is automatically carried out for the next regular examination appointment. 1) 2) 3) 4) A student is to enroll for module examination on his or her own during the term in question.in case a student failed an exam, a new enrollment for the next examination appointment is to be carried out on his or her own as well, that means there will be no automatical enrollment in this case, it has to be made by this student. The commitment to the study contets is determined by the choice of the major direction of studies (the study focal point) The elective in reference to technical contents can be chosen from the entire range of technical content-related subjects on offer for bachelor programme of Enginering Faculty as well es from the offer from the other RUB faculties and these of the Dortmund University. The Examination Panel is entitled to decide upon request whether it complies with and qualifies for the studies in question. The non-technical elective can be chosen from the entire range of non-technical contet-related subjects on offer from the other RUB faculties. It shoul have no relation to technical contents-related subjects, yet, it has to be relevant and bear certain value for studies in Engineering. The Examination Panel is entitled to decide upon request whether it complies with and qualifies for the studies in question. Upon the decision of the Examination Board, the lists of the profile-relevant modules can be enlarged by the competible modules provided in the curriculum of the TU Dortmund.
